That’s right, much like the film about Facebook (The Social Network) there will soon be a film about the founders of Google Sergey Brin and Larry Page. The film will be based on the recent book Googled: The End of the World As We Know it.

The book was published last fall by Penguin. Auletta, the media columnist for The New Yorker, chronicled a business that grew into a search engine-driven octopus whose $20 billion in ad revenue last year was more than the major broadcast networks combined. CEO Eric Schmidt predicted to Auletta that Google will become the world’s first $100 billion media company.

It was bound to happen I suppose, I just wonder how interesting a story it could be. I have no intention of reading the book, and now there’s even less reason to.

Spencer Pratt spends his days conjuring up new ideas to get attention.  This guy has no real life and thus he must continue on his tirades via Twitter and now he’s going as far as to out his soon to be ex-wife, Heidi Montag and all of her dirty little secrets.  Pratt is writing his first tell-all book that he’s certain will hit the mark.  He broke the news about this Pandora’s Box to Us,

“My last book, How to be Famous, didn’t make the New York Times best-seller list because it was in the self-help section.  This one is going to be totally different. I’m not holding anything back.”

Naturally Heidi is outraged and who can blame her?  I am sure that she’s got some things to hide.  But, how much truth would Spencer actually put on paper?  Spencer Pratt overdoes everything, why would he stop now?

Heidi talked to TMZ,

“This is exactly why I left him … Right now I’m looking into my legal options.”

I don’t know how much Heidi can do legally.  But it sure would have been nice if she’d known about this book before the divorce papers were drawn up.  Or perhaps she should have thought ahead a bit.  This is so Spencer.  Why didn’t she see this coming?

I’ve heard some celebs slam Lady Gaga before.  Even Katy Perry has talked some smack.  But I do believe that Janice Dickinson takes the cake on this one.

Lady Gaga admitted to being an “occasional” drug user in the September issue of Vanity Fair and Janice is so not okay with that.

She straight up told L&S,

“Lady Gaga is a f—ing idiot. The way she mentioned cocaine, I think she should really get spanked!  You can damage and hurt kids.  I’m appalled.”

Wow.  Those are some strong words, Janice.  But I appreciate what she’s saying.  She’s right.  Lady Gaga has no self control and no sense of respect for anyone.  Always a loose cannon.

Russell Brand is taking a break this year from hosting the MTV Video Music Awards and they have another funny character lined up in his stead.  Chelsea Handler and her ridiculous humor will be hosting the night on September 12.

“Thank You to everyone for ur excitement about the vmas. And 2 those of u who hate me, Thank you 2. I’d be a real loser if everyone liked me.”

Unfortunately we will be seeing Kanye West again this year.  Hopefully he will stick to performing and keep his big mouth shut the rest of the time.  Also slated to appear will be Justin Bieber and Drake, Penn Badgley, Ashley Greene and Selena Gomez.  Stay tuned for more announcements as we get the details!

SNL’s Fred Armisen and Abby Elliott are dating.  It’s only been like five seconds since we found out that Fred and his his soon to be ex-wife, Elisabeth Moss were ending their 10 month marriage.  Geesh!

Source close to the new couple told L&S,

“They’ve known each other for a few years from being on SNL together but after the split, Fred sought comfort in Abby. They just started dating a few months ago. “Fred and Abby are getting to know each other in a romantic way and taking things slowly. But they’re enjoying each other’s company. It’s early days.”

Fred is 43 and  Abby is 23.  I think that since she’s still a rookie to SNL, she’s trying to get “in” any way she can.  I mean really?  Fred Armisen?!

First of all, why can’t producers find hot girls to cast for Jersey Shore.  Why must they find females that resemble tree trunks to make drunken @sses of themselves for $30k an episode?  I know that there are better looking girls than this!

Anyhow, the cast of Jersey Shore were out on the Seaside Heights boardwalk, shooting “great” footage for the show.  As you can see, Deena Nicole knows how to “dance with herself” like a committed pro.

No sign of Snooki.  I think she was busy in court, pleading not guilty to annoying the public at that very location.  Aye!

Taylor Swift is getting the hype up for her latest album, Speak Now that is due to hit stores on October 25th.  So yes, there is still a bit of a wait.  but for now, fans can drool over this amazing cover.  I love it.  That dress fantastic.  That shade of purple is perfection on Taylor.

Chris Lambton melted me into a puddle every week on The Bachelorette.  I knew that Ali wouldn’t be picking him so I was already hoping that he’d be the next Bachelor.  ABC was thinking the same thing.  But apparently Chris isn’t on board.

E! News said,

Chris “has been offered the role as ABC’s next Bachelor, but has told producers” no, “saying he wants to step away from the spotlight and return to his ‘normal life.’”

Another source said,

“All of our best Bachelors have been hesitant at firs.  The producers really want Chris to be the guy. They’re hoping they can convince him…This definitely isn’t dead yet.”

I can completely understand where Chris is coming from.  His story is so touching and I know how hard it was for him to open up to Ali, only to get hurt.  BUT, I think that every girl on his show would die to be with him.  What do you think?  Will Chris change his mind?
