When you think of Gemma Arterton, what do you think?  Pretty hot stuff comes to mind.  But Gemma wants to change all that.  She’s tired of being seen as just eye candy.  She said:

‘For me, it can really be frustrating when you’re just seen as the totty, and I know that I’ve always taken acting so seriously.  The Bond film took me into that “hottie” category. It’s easy for people to put you in that “hot girl” slot.  I don’t want to play those characters any more. Now I’m starting to be in the kinds of films I would go and see – quirky and interesting and not particularly blockbustery. So I have to prove my salt. And now is the time.’

Well, all right then, Gemma.  You go with your indie-art-house self.  Next up for the anti-hottie is Tamara Drewe, releasing in October.

Mike Comrie and Hilary Duff were married yesterday (Aug 14) in a gorgeous ceremony in Santa Barbara. They exchanged vows at the Mediterranean Villa La Quinta in an evening ceremony in the presence of 100 guests.

My word.  Today is a bunch of stories about babies and divorce.  This one is about both!  Kelsey Grammer knocked up his new girlfriend, Kayte Walsh and now he’s putting a ring on her finger.  Planning to marry her once his divorce from his wife, Camille Donatacci Grammer is finalized.

Um, yeah.  Dude is already lining up his next wife before he’s done with the one he was with for 13 years!

TMZ caught the new couple on their way to Harry Winston’s jewelers.  Kelsey was very happy with the whole situation.  Geez…. he needs to slow down…why get married?

SNL’s Fred Armisen and his newlywed wife, Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss, have already parted ways after just 10 months of marriage.

A source told Life & Style,

“Fred and Elisabeth separated in May. Fred is currently in Portland, Ore. on the set of his new series Portlandia. Elisabeth is in LA focusing on her career and spending quiet time with friends.”

They were married in October and separated in May.  This was Fred’s second marriage and Elisabeth’s first. Bummer man.

Patricia Arquette and Thomas Jane have decided to end their marriage… again.  They separated last year, then decided not to go through with the divorce.  Now they are over, for real.

Thomas Jane Dishes About Being ‘Hung’

His rep made this statement,

“The split is completely amicable and their prime focus is their daughter,” says the rep. “They ask that their privacy be respected at this time.”

They have one little girl, Harlow Olivia Calliope who is now 7.  That’s going to be roughest on her.
