What’s better (worse) than one strung out, nasty druggie?  TWO strung out, nasty druggies!   Amy Winehouse has offered her old partying friend Pete Doherty a place to live in London while he’s working on his new album with The Libertines.    A friend says:

“She thinks a lot of him and they’ve been through a lot together so she wants to help him out. But pals are worried because they are bad influences on each other.”

Ya think?  This is the worst idea in the history of ideas.  In 2009, Pete said he was done with drugs but just a few months later he was found on an airplane shooting up!  As for Wino… if she IS clean, she has clearly permanently damaged her brain with all the smack because she is just one big mess.   And you know what happens when people who used to party together start hanging out again.   I say no, no, no….

So, confession:  I decided to post these pics just because I thought Kelly Hu looked adorable and very pretty.  But I also got the opportunity to learn about something new.  Kelly stepped out in a cute black and white dress for the British Academy Of Television Arts – BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party.  This event, in its 8th year, celebrates the casts of Emmy-nominated shows by feeding them tea, scones and Champagne.  Life could be worse, right?

BIGGEST EMMYS BUZZ?  CHRISTINA HENDRICKS MEASUREMENTS

Kelly guest starred on The Vampire Diaries this past season, and she also is the voice of Stacy on Phineas and Ferb.  That last bit is the new thing I learned.  I can’t tell you how many episodes of that show I’ve watched with my kids and I had no idea that was Kelly Hu voicing Stacy all this time.  Kelly also did some voice work for the new animated movie Batman: Under The Red Hood.   Busy girl!

Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab and back to her old ways, but business marches on nonetheless.  Lindsay’s 6126 clothing line has expanded beyond just leggings to include jackets, dresses and tops.  What a lovely idea – we all know how well she did designing for Ungaro, after all.  But I digress.  Here are some looks from 6126′s Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection.  What do you think?  Do you want to dress like LiLo?  Drop us a comment and spill!

We didn’t see Robert Pattinson on the Emmys red carpet last night.  But he did make an appearance later on at the Trousdale nightclub after party.  Apparently he felt quite laid back sporting jeans, t-shirt, and cap.  Mostly what I want to know is what’s up with the beard?

Slash (Saul Hudson) has filed for divorce from his wife Perla Ferrar in L.A. County Superior Court.  The docs naturally cite irreconcilable differences.

Jesse James and Kat Von D Go Public – Photos

Slash wants  joint physical and legal custody of their 6 and 8 year old sons.  Sources tell TMZ the breakup is extremely acrimonious.

They have no prenuptial agreement and he’s willing to pay spousal support.  Slash’s lawyer is Laura Wasser.

They have been married for almost 9 years (Oct 2001.)

Jesse James is officially over Sandra Bullock and is now with a woman more  in his own league. Kat Von D got her inky claws into the cheating motorcycle buff and now they have come out as couple.

Every time I see Jesse, I am more thankful that Sandra Bullock is rid of him.  Man, she deserves so much better.

Over the years, we’ve seen some pretty ridiculous outfits hit the red carpets.  This year’s Emmys was no exception.  Tom Hanks arrived with his wife, Rita Wilson and I could hear the brakes screeching to a halt.  What on God’s green earth was Rita thinking?  What was Tom thinking letting her step out looking like a chandelier?  I am pretty sure that no one could pull this off.  But certainly not a woman of Rita’s age.  She’s not hip, cool, or “in” when it comes to fashion.  So why would she do it?

The death investigation for the late WWE star, Gertrude “Luna” Vachon has come up with what looks like a serious drug abuse issue.  Cops found crushed Oxycodone pills and a snorting straw in Lina’s kitchen down in Florida.

TMZ reports that officials discovered “multiple prescription bottles and miscellaneous unsecured pills” in the master bedroom along with a small plate that contained more pill residue and another snorting straw.

The autopsy has been completed and there should be a cause of death determined in the next couple of weeks.  BUT, now I am thinking that there will be a toxicology report due and those take about a month.

Sad, sad story.
