The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards aka VMAs are coming up next month (already?!, I know!) and it’s going to be a huge showdown between Lady Gaga who is leading the nominations, with 13 and  Eminem, who has 8 nods. The plethora of Moonmen will be handed out on September 12 at at 9 p.m ET on MTV.

Is it just me?  Or does The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka now resemble a creepy stalker/American Psycho type guy?  Honestly, when he showed up on the red carpet at the Casio’s Shock the World 2010 in NYC, he kind of made my skin crawl.

Pamela Anderson was down in New Orleans with PeTA’s Senior Vice President Dan Mathews helping to move the shelter dogs to Virginia.  In the process, Pammy decided to adopt two of the dogs.  That one (above) seems pretty happy about his new owner as he makes out with her.  SO cute!

Both of the pups she’s adopting are adorable.  I just wonder if there is room in her trailer for them?  Maybe her house will be done soon.   Either way, adopting pets is the way to go.  Buying them from pet shops is so 1980.  Go adopt a sweet animal in need of a loving home today.  Believe me, it feels great!

Stephanie Pratt recently dumped her motorcross beau, Josh Hansen because the guy was a bit on the dumb side.  Who can blame her.  Steph has brains and she’s using them. So it was no surprise to see Stephanie out on the town last night with her hot date, Lo Bosworth.  The girls were out having a good times, getting the much needed “girl’s night’ out.  They hit up one f their faves, Industry night club in Los Angeles.

Last night was the big Bachelorette finale where Ali Fedotowsky chose the love of her life, Roberto Martinez.  So all of those stupid rumors were put to rest.  Ali didn’t not choose anybody and she is not with Matt Leinart who already has a girlfriend.

The biggest shock for me was when Ali let Chris go before the final rose ceremony.  That has never happened before and threw me off a bit.  But I was so glad that she did.  I actually gained a lot of respect for Ali after that.  Chris is such a great guy and he certainly didn’t need to take any more heartache than he has already suffered through.

In fact, I am such a huge fan of Chris that I think he needs to be the next Bachelor.  He’s perfect and I want to see the ladies swooning over him.  Come on ABC, you know he’s the right guy!

Now back to Ali and Roberto.  I love them together.  I am so hoping that they last.  We are way past due on seeing another successful Bachelor/Bachelorette relationship.

Just barely, by the looks of her.  Our favorite crackhead, Amy Winehouse, was spotted out in Camden, London, wearing her bedroom slippers and heart shaped glasses.   It should be no surprise that she was headed out to the pub.

Jeri Ryan, aka Seven of Nine from Star Trek: Voyager, was smoking hot at the Disney ABC Summer 2010 TCA Tour.   She is a great example of a woman who gets better as she gets older.  She could not be more perfect here – classy, sexy, and chic.  I’m especially loving the neckline on her dress.

Jeri’s new ABC show, Body of Proof, premieres this fall.  She’ll be co-starring with Dana Delaney.    Definitely going to check it out!

Gisele Bundchen and her know-it-all mouth are really starting to get irritating.  Mrs. Tom Birth-Didn’t-Hurt Toilet-Training-My-Baby-At-Six-Months Brady had a baby, so she’s now the expert on all things childrearing, right?   Her latest opinions, on breastfeeding, are sure to piss off many, many moms. Gisele said:

Some people here think they don’t have to breastfeed, and I think, “Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?” There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.

Now I’d love to see her try to enforce this law.  But seriously.  I am a huge champion of breastfeeding, and I think women should give it a try unless there’s a medical reason not to – if they don’t like it or it doesn’t work out, then by all means, stop.  But above all, it’s a CHOICE, and you can’t MAKE anyone do it.  And moms already have enough pressure on us that makes us feel bad, inadequate and guilty without loudmouths like Gisele telling us what we should and shouldn’t do.   Please, just shut up already.
