Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale: To Grandmother’s House We Go

The Rossdale clan, Gavin, Gwen Stefani and sons Kingston and Zuma were in Los Angeles over the weekend and the beautiful family paid their grandmother a visit. Kingston and Zuma were outside playing and got a ride in a little red wagon from Gavin as he pulled them along.

Look at little Zuma – how cute is he (awesome cowboy boots!) waving for the photographers.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz spent Saturday afternoon in the park with their son Bronx Mowgli.

Just a few cute family photos of the Wentz’s as they enjoy a perfect summer day as a family.

Jennifer Lopez Is Marvelous On Marie Claire Russia

Jennifer Lopez is flawless on the cover of Marie Claire Russia.

The actress may have had some help from a wonderful airbrusher, but heck – with results like this – who cares? You still see Lopez and while her skin is a little too perfect, it really doesn’t detract from her true beauty like some of the other covers she has been mangled on (see them here.)

As the latest American Idol judge after a huge week of firing/quitting personnel, I think JLo will be a breath of fresh air on the show that has gotten very stale.

It’s La Lopez FTW!

Victoria Beckham Covers Vogue Turkey

Looking glam (and thirsty for that martini) while staring you down, Victoria Beckham has nabbed the cover of Turkish Vogue. The designer is wearing her own fashions for the cover which was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth.

I can’t make up my mind whether I like this or not – it’s a great shot of Victoria, yet it’s typical Unwerth.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Married In Corsica

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz (Kasseem Dean) were married at a private ceremony on the French island of Corsica on Saturday July 31st. The lovely, low-key couple had beautiful weather and fabulous guests (Queen Latifah and Bono) to celebrate their union.

Keys who is expecting the couple’s first child in November, reportedly wore a long white gown (Vera Wang is the rumored designer) and a headband. Beatz wore a white tux with a pink shirt.

Congratulations to the beautiful and happy couple!

Russh Captures Alessandra Ambrosio Artfully

Gorgeous Alessandra Ambrosio is known for her Victoria’s Secret work – all glittery and sparkly – not at all as a high fashion model.

Australian magazine Russh takes a chance on the beauty for a very lovely fashion shoot and it pays off. The cover is sublime and the editorial of Ambrosio as a windswept woman elegantly wrestling the elements is a haunting contrast of the roughness of the street and the fragile nature of humans. Go here to Russh’s website and watch Ambrosio in wispy garments and graceful gestures as she works it out for photographer Will Davidson.

Rachel Bilson InStyle UK Cover

Rachel Bilson has a very sleek sexy cover for the InStyle UK September 2010 issue. Bilson, who is best known for her days as Summer on the CW show The O.C. and for her relationship with Hayden Christensen gives us  her thoughts on Hayden, Mischa and body issues:

Rachel Bilson on privacy and [boyfriend] Hayden Christensen: Whatever the papers may have recently speculated about her and the “very private” Hayden, she refuses to let it have any effect on her life. So much so, in fact, that she makes a point of not reading any press. “I would never want to read or hear anything about myself. It is poison,” she insists.

On Mischa Barton and The OC: “I do miss Summer terribly,” she says. “The OC was the most phenomenal time. I saw Mischa at Cannes, but I honestly miss everyone from the show.” She continues, “I do fall out of cars, but not because I am drunk, but because I am clumsy. I think the girls who come to fame younger fall into all that [partying], but I did it before I became famous. I mean, I was 21 when The OC started, Mischa was 16. I can’t imagine dealing with that kind of success at that age. My life may have been very different if I had started out that young.”

On body image and weight issues: “You know what I hate?” she says… “the amount of attention that is put on weight and body image. It is so backwards and sends out the wrong message. ‘What do you eat? Do you work out?’ It’s not what young girls should be stressing about. They look up to these actresses and read about plastic surgery and what they do and don’t eat. I eat, I love food, I wanna eat when I wanna eat. If you are not feeling good about yourself, then you work out. But you do it for you.”

Bilson has a great attitude and I hope she gets a show where she can really shine.

Denim, Drew Barrymore & Nylon Magazine

Drew Barrymore is a denim darling for Nylon magazine’s August issue. The actress has a new movie coming up, Going the Distance, with Christina Applegate and her maybe boyfriend Justin Long. Here is an excerpt from Nylon:

Accepting herself: “You have to not pretend to be perfect, because that’s not only boring as f–k, but it’s just not real… So I feel so liberated in that way. I just really want to be true to myself. That’s essential in life. I would never be able to put on a charade. I would totally f–k it up.”

Technology isn’t bringing people together: “Ironically, with all this, ‘We’re now more connected than ever with technology,’ I don’t think we’ve ever been farther apart. I think it’s bulls–t. Everyone feels more connected but they’re weirdly disconnected.”

Not a shop-a-holic: “I never have time for shopping. I like it…I think? If i ever do go shopping, I hit thrift stores ’cause I know I’ll find new pieces around a job or a shot. I’ve been wearing the same f–king pair of jeans for 10 years.”
