Dugard is writing a memoir and she’s doing it herself.  It’s set to be published next by Simon & Schuster.

“When I read the pages, I was moved and inspired by the raw power of Jaycee Dugard’s voice, her strength and her resilience,” Simon & Schuster head Jonathan Karp said about the manuscript in progress.

Jaycee’s kidnapper’s Phillip and Nancy Garrido have been indicted and the preliminary hearings are scheduled to start on October 7th.  I hope they get get death row.  Honestly.

She is an incredibly strong woman, and from I understand, a very talented writer.

When you combine these two gifts, I can see this is going to be one very powerful book.

Bless Jaycee and her real family and her daughters :)
