Conan O’Brien has been away for much too long.  In fact, I am starting to forget what he “tastes” like.  Hopefully I will survive on these “fumes” until November 8th when he makes a massive comeback on TBS, where yes, he will be “Very Funny.”

So who’s this owl?  Is he going to be Conan’s sidekick?  Will he be a a replacement for the likes of the Masturbating Bear or Insult The Comic Dog?  Not that I think Insult is replaceable, but I am game for something new and NBC free.

Here’s to the future for Conan O’Brien and the insane ratings he’s going to conjure up, that will more than destroy NBC’s late night ratings and Jay Leno’s ego…. what’s left of it.

Milla Jovovich has already confirmed another sequel in the Resident Evil series just one day after the opening weekend of the most recent film Resident Evil: Afterlife.

It’s the biggest movie in the franchise,” Milla Jovovich told Vulture. “So we’re definitely going to make another one.”

Reportedly, Jovovich’s husband, director/producer Paul W.S. Anderson, already has ideas for a fifth film, but that he might solicit fan input as well. Saying that the team is planning to talk to fans via “Twitter and stuff” about what characters they want in the film, Jovovich says that the creation of the next film will be “a more interactive process.”

I’m not surprised at all, these movies seem to have a consistent audience. Now, I haven’t seen RE: Afterlife yet, but I hear it’s a stinker just like the last two. Yet I still want to see it regardless of that fact, and THAT is why these movies keep making money.

Florence and The Time Machine performed, Dog Days Are Over at the 2010 MTV VMAs last night and ROCKED!  That was one of my favorite performances of the night.  Amazing.  Really amazing.

This past weekend’s (September 10 – 12, 2010) #1 movie was the fourth movie in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Afterlife with $27.7 million. This is the biggest opening of any of these movies, largely due to  inflated 3D pricing. Nothing else opened in the top ten but Takers climbed back from third to second place.

Justin Bieber holds more force than any 16 year old boy should.  Last night at the 2010 MTV VMAs he completely owned the stage…. and every female within 100 yards when he performed his medley of hits.  He was obviously lip syncing but he is an amazing performer and pulled it off quite nicely.  And you know those girls could care less if he’s really singing or not.

The Biebs even threw down a nice drum solo at the end of his performance and when he lost his drumstick, he grabbed a nother and just kept going, like a true pro.  I was impressed.

The days of The Hills may be over, but the girls still have their sizzle.  In fact, I think they are getting hotter!  Before hitting up the 2010 MTV VMAs last night, Audrina Patridge, Stephanie Pratt, and Lo Bosworth stopped by the In Touch Weekly’s Icons & Idols Annual Celebration held at Bar Marmont in West Hollywood.

One of my favorite performances last night at the 2010 MTV VMAs (winners here) was Taylor Swift.  We to see her perform Innocent for the first time and I love it!  It made me that much more pumped for the release of her album, Speak Now.
