I actually didn’t see too many horrible fashion statements last night at the 2010 MTV VMAs. (If you don’t count Lady Gaga and her endless costume changes, of course.)  There were a ton of cute dresses, sexy outfits, and hot men.  But one female stuck out like a scary, old thumb.  Sadly, it was Cher.

She tried to own the black, lace catsuit and it did not work.  When you are 64 years old, you shouldn’t make appearances at the MTV VMAs dressed like you’re 18.  It doesn’t do you any good.  It repulses people and often times causes fans to throw up in there mouth.  I’m not saying to show up in a granny suit with a walker.  But there are many other, sexy options that would actually make Cher look classy.

Last night was one of the best awards shows I have seen in ages.  The 2010 MTV VMAs were fantastic.  Chelsea Handler was a total riot.  I love this woman.  I think she should do it again next year.  Even Lindsay Lohan rocked her part!

What would an awards show with Lady Gaga involved be without over the top, ridiculous and now, nasty be?  Last night at the 2010 MTV VMAs Lady Gaga’s presence was more than abundant.  From host, Chelsea Handler’s jabs, to her plethora of nominations and wins…. and of course, the outrageous outfits.

The “worst” of her ensembles was hands down the meat dress.  What the heck?  Talk about going too far.  Real or fake.  That meat dress was repulsive.  It’s not art, so don’t feed me that line. It’s disgusting. PETA should be having a hay day with this one.  Everything that meat dress represents is wrong.

Did you notice how Lady Gaga was all teary, emotional, even grateful when she accepted her first Moonman.  But by the time she got on stage wearing that million pound black leather dress, she was cocky, screaming, and pretty rude?  Where did the humility go?

I loved the looks Katy Perry threw her way when the winners were announced.  Yeah, I’m Team Katy.  I like class.

Jessica Alba celebrated Fashion’s Night Out at Ralph Lauren SoHo, and she looked just plain super.  Her dress is awesome – I love that it is cut so simply but seems so much more special because of the way the fabric catches the light.  Jessica is kind of freaking me out the way she smiles so much these days, though.  It’s starting to be the rule, not the exception, and if “happy” becomes her permanent condition then I might actually end up kind of… LIKING Jess.  Which will give me one fewer celebrity to snark on.  And that’s almost enough to take the smile right off my face.

Director Sofia Coppola is about to debut her sophomore effort for Louis Vuitton.  She’s following up her first collection, which featured shoes and handbags, with a new collection of bags.   This is not the most exciting bag you have ever seen in your life.  But it’s very functional and professional, and also very understated, much like Sofia herself.  It’s also very different from many of the bags out there right now, and that’s probably why I like it.  I could actually see myself buying this – ok, not exactly this, but a knock-off, because I don’t have a bajillion dollars to spend on a purse.  But if you DO have that kind of money, then look for Sofia’s new bags in stores next month.

Tonight’s VMAs should be pretty interesting.  We’ve got some sort of a face off between Taylor Swift and Kanye West.  I have a feeling that there will be something planned that they will do.  I am sure that they got together on this one to make a joke of last year’s VMA tirade.

This morning I posted about Spencer Pratt story to TMZ that he was arrested in a Costa Rica airport for felony gun possession, but we were all very skeptical about the facts behind this “story.”  Well, believe it or not, Spencer told the truth.

TMZ got the arrested documents and it’s legit.  Spencer is actually dumber than we thought.  Who tries to take a gun from another country in to the USA in an airport?

Either that or they are now really close friends.  Miley Cyrus and her Last Song co-star, Liam Hemsworth haven’t been split up for long and it looks like they couldn’t live without each other.

The super cute couple was spotted out and about in the Los Angeles area yesterday.  They grabbed food and drinks to take back to Miley’s place in Toluca Lake.

Yesterday I posted one of two covers I shot for the fifth anniversary of Hong Kong’s Prestige magazine, and I wanted to share the second cover and the whole spread with you guys today.

It’s amazing to me that I have fans in Asia! I really want to visit Hong Kong!! I hear it’s beautiful and that the people are so nice.
