Marcia Cross turned out for the 6th Annual Pink Party at Drai’s Hollywood.  This event is a celebration of women and fashion and also a fundraiser for Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute – a very worthy cause.

Marcia could not look cuter.  I’m loving the 1960s style dress, especially the color, which looks fantastic with her hair.  Then again, she always looks good, even just to go grocery shopping.  I hate people like that.  But I digress.

Jennifer Garner was the evening’s host and I didn’t think she was looking so hot.  Other stars in attendance were Poppy Montgomery, Denise Richards, Eve LaRue and Carla Gugino.

So I’ve got to admit I’m writing this mostly because it’s kind of a novelty story… Simon Cowell‘s ex-girlfriend Sinitta has posed stark naked in the UK’s Now magazine.

Who is this chick?  She was a big pop star in the 1980s in the UK.  She was the first act Simon ever signed.   She’s also pretty hot.  Now his fiance, Mezhgan Hussainy, is also quite a dish, but I thought he was able to get girls like that currently because he is, you know, rich and famous.  Back then, he wasn’t either, really, so I guess he had it going on.  That, or Sinitta was grateful that Simon made her a star.

The other noteworthy thing about this photo is that it recreates a famous photo from the 1960s.  Christine Keeler was a model and showgirl at the center of the Profumo Affair.  She carried on simultaneous affairs with a British cabinet member, John Profumo, and a Russian military muckety-muck.  This scandal apparently brought down the current Prime Minister’s administration.

So see, you came here for a naked picture and you got a history lesson.  Who says celebrity gossip is all fluff?

George Lopez is the latest celebrity to file for divorce.  He and his wife, Ann Lopez have been separated for quite awhile already and have been working out the details to make their divorce happen.

They have been married for 17 years and share a 15 year old daughter, Mayan Lopez.  They have decided to keep this whole divorce thing as clean as possible for the sake of their daughter.

Lindsay Lohan made bail and part of the conditions included that she must wear a SCRAM anklet.  This is her third time wearing one.  I hope she has to keep it on for a long period.  Not as punishment, but just another way to keep herself in check.  I want her to beat this thing.  This disease.  She needs all the help she can get and the people who have been surrounding her aren’t helping, they are hurting her.

Yesterday, Lindsay went down to a Dream Center location in Los Angeles to visit some homeless teenagers.  Sure, Lindsay is far from homeless.  But I am guessing that Lindsay Lohan is one young girl who can relate to a lot of problems those teens are facing.  I actually think Lilo could do a lot of good for those kids.

Jaycee Dugard is putting it all on paper and sharing it with the world.  Her 18 years of being held prisoner.  We are going to have the opportunity to hear it straight from Jaycee.

Dugard is writing a memoir and she’s doing it herself.  It’s set to be published next by Simon & Schuster.

Jaycee’s kidnapper’s Phillip and Nancy Garrido have been indicted and the preliminary hearings are scheduled to start on October 7th.  I hope they get get death row.  Honestly.

Christina Aguilera was at the Opening Gala and unmasking of the Resnick Pavilion at LACMA (the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and my oh my!  What is this look she is sporting?  The orange glow and scary hair?  Hmmmm.  This honestly reminds me of a little girl’s Barbie that has been colored all over with an orange Magic Marker and the hair has been teased to death.
