Mark Wahlberg Playing ‘The Crow’?

Mark Wahlberg has been offered the role of The Crow in the upcoming remake of the 1994 film that starred the ill-fated Brandon Lee.

Bloody Disgusting has confirmed exclusively that Mark Wahlberg was offered the lead role in Relativity Media’s The Crow

Really? Mark Wahlberg? Really? A remake? Pure disappointment here, what are they thinking? Trying to capitalize on Emo? I sincerely hope he turns it down. What do you think?

I had the same reaction to that news, Nick. Why a Crow remake? And why Wahlberg? IF a remake WAS necessary I could think of a half dozen other actors who are much more suitable.

For sure, I’m guessing Wahlberg will turn it down. If he knows what’s good for him.
