Ali Fedotowsky Reveals More Wedding Details

The Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky has made it clear that we should not expect wedding bells to ring any time soon for her and fiance Roberto Martinez.   She’s admitted they are “taking it slow” and getting to know each other better.  However, caution hasn’t prevented them from planning their wedding.  Ali said:

“We’ve decided on something really big. Roberto has a big family. There’s going to be a lot of partying, salsa dancing and food! Roberto loves his food.”

Sounds like fun!  I am totally rooting for these two.

Who Went Home? Dancing With The Stars Week 5 Results

Like I said earlier today, last night’s show was a total bust.  Thank you judges.  You know how to ruin a good thing.  How will things go down tonight?

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas Are The REAL Deal – Photos

Dancing With The Stars is wrapping up week five and sending home the fifth star who couldn’t cut it on the dance floor.  Bristol and Mark fell to the bottom of the leader board, so I am definitely nervous for them.  I’d much rather see Florence Henderson leave tonight.  I love her, but I want Bristol on more.  Watching her grow and the chemistry between her and Mark is much more entertaining that Florence…. sorry!

Skating With The Stars Cast Revealed On DWTS

Tonight we get performances by Shakira, Jason Derulo, and David Hasselhoff is coming back… woo hoo!  Should be fun on that end of things.

Who do you think is going home?

UPDATE:  Florence Henderson was sent home.  It was a good run.  But it was your time… good luck, we love you!

First Trailer for ‘Scream 4′ Looks Funny

Here’s the first trailer for the long awaited sequel Scream 4.

Looks like it will be funny, but it definitely doesn’t look scary in any way. I’m sure a lot of people will go see it, but this franchise has aged too much to be relevant, try as it may.

This movie looks like one of the corniest action films in a while. I’m not planning to see this one. Does Nicholas Cage EVER turn down roles?

First Full Trailer for ’127 Hours’ From ‘Slumdog’ Director Danny Boyle

Here’s the first full trailer for the upcoming film 127 Hours from director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) starring James Franco.

Although I expect it to be good because of Danny Boyle, it just doesn’t look all that interesting to me. I’m just as confused on his choice to make the film now as I was when it was first announced.

‘The Hobbit’ Cast and Finally Greenlit!

The Hobbit films are finally set to get underway this February as principal photography will finally begin with Peter Jackson officially directing! Rumor has it that Bilbo has been cast and will be played by British actor Martin Freeman.

An influx of familiar faces into Middle Earth is expected after the announcement that filming of The Hobbit will finally begin next February, bringing to an end years of delays.

It is thought that many of the lead roles in the big screen adaptation of JRR Tolkien’s fantasy novel – a prequel to his The Lord of the Rings series – will be filled by British actors. Martin Freeman – who starred in TV’s The Office – is reported to be favourite to land the role of Bilbo Baggins. Other names touted for major roles are former Cold Feet star James Nesbitt and Irish actor Michael Fassbender, from Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

Finally some solid news on shooting! These movies have been in limbo for so long I was beginning to wonder if they would ever come to fruition. I’ll keep you posted on the happenings as they develop.

‘Iron Man 3′ Announced With Release Date!

Iron Man 3 has officially been announced with a release date of May 3rd, 2013.

Just minutes ago, it was revealed that Disney would be paying a lump sum to acquire the marketing and distribution rights to the last Marvel Studio films under the Paramount Pictures deal, The Avengers and Iron Man 3. Part of this announcement came as a surprise as we didn’t know that Marvel was this close to announcing a third Iron Man film. I speculated that it probably meant that Iron Man 3 would be released in either 2012 or 2013. We now have a confirmation.

Walt Disney Pictures and Buena Vista have announced that Iron Man 3 will hit theaters on May 3rd 2013.

This is pretty surprising, nobody was expecting an official announcement so soon. This is a smart move on Disney‘s part since these movies so huge, don’t expect much other news on this one for a while though.

‘Superman: Man of Steel’ Gets ’300′ Director Zack Snyder

There has been quite a buzz in hollywood about who would helm the next film incarnation of the legendary Man of Steel. Zack Snider (300, Watchmen) is officially directing Superman: Man of Steel!

Zack Snyder has been chosen to direct  the new installment ofSuperman for Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures…

…Deadline revealed back on February 9 that the DC Comics stalwart Superman became a priority project when Nolan agreed to godfather it. He and David S. Goyer hatched the story and Goyer wrote the script. The new Superman’s producers also include  Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder while co-financer Legendary Pictures’ Thomas Tull will serve as executive producer. I’m sure there will be hot debate on Snyder as the choice, but judging from 300, you can be sure the Man of Steel will have an inspired six-pack.

My first response to the news was disappointment since Snyder is all about visuals and less about quality scene direction; but knowing that Christopher Nolan and his team are writing the script makes me more hopeful. At least we know it’ll have a good story and visuals. Casting hasn’t been revealed at all yet, but expect the film in 2012.
