Jersey Shore‘s own jailbird Snooki (aka Nicole Polizzi) will do just about anything for attention, including pretending she knows how to write a book.  Somehow she convinced Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Shuster, to buy a novel that she supposedly wrote or is writing.   It’s not so cleverly called A Shore Thing.

She can’t possibly write a book.  Can she even write her own name?

Aspiring writers take note!  Why bother agonizing over plot lines and crafting witty, ironic dialogue?   You evidently don’t have to actually know how to write – or possibly even be literate, I’m really not sure in Snooki’s case – to get a book deal.

Russell Brand was on his home turf on his latest promotional tour stop for his new Booky Wooky 2.  Liverpool, London is the hot spot when Russell is in town!  What a goofy woofy.  I love this guy.  He is a ball of laughs and yeah, if you don’t enjoy his kind of humor, you probably hate him.  Or maybe you’re just jealous that he’s going to be marrying Katy Perry soon.

Toni Braxton has filed for bankruptcy for the second time.  Um, how does a celebrity get into this position twice?  I guess some people really never do learn?

Braxton filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in California and she’s allegedly only worth around $1-10 million.  Yeah, that’s not going to cut it.

Kelly Osbourne has acquired herself one bangin’ body and now she wants her skin to “match.”  How so?  By removing most of her unwanted, mistake tattoos.

Kelly shared her plans for removal with her fans,

“I met with my dermatologist and I’ll start the laser treatment as soon as I have time.  I was miserable.  And I just went and got all these tattoos and I don’t know why. One of them is a keyboard and I don’t even know how to play a piano!  It will take several months, and while I’m not looking forward to the pain, I’ve heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so!”

Charlize Theron is one of my absolute faves in Hollywood.  So when I found out that she’s found love again after her painful breakup with Stuart Townsend, I was thrilled.  She was with him for nine years, so moving on hasn’t been easy.

Her new man is actor, Eric Thal.  He’s seemingly a really good guy.  He’d have to be to catch her eye.  One of his pals told L&S,

“The two have a lot in common.  He’s a farmer who grows all his own vegetables, and Charlize grew up on a farm in South Africa. The two like to escape Hollywood and go to his farm in upstate New York.”

Very, very cool  Charlize deserves all the happiness in the world and I hope Eric can give it to her.
