Minnesota Vikings‘ QB, Brett Favre suffered another loss on the field last night, being defeated by his former team, the Green Bay Packers.  As he limped off the field, looking rather pathetic, I couldn’t help but see his defeat…. on more than one level.

Favre spoke with the NFL investigators about the alleged XXX photos he sent to Jenn Sterger and the voicemails he left for her.  He admitted to the calls but not the photos.  That is pretty interesting.  Not sure what the point of that is or whether he’s being 100% honest.

Is Favre just having “faith” like his wife Deanna Favre?  Is he in complete denial?  Or is he just gambling on the hopes that Jenn Sterger will keep the XXX photos out of the NFL’s hands?

Will this craziness end soon, or is this just the beginning?

Nicollette Sheridan was spotted leaving Madeo restaurant in Beverly Hills while having a night out with friends.  She stopped to sign a few autographs and show off her immense cleavage.  I am digging on her leather skirt.  That’s hot…. but, then I start thinking that she’s trying way too hard.

We haven’t seen much of Nicollette Sheridan since her days on Desperate Housewives came to an end.   She’s been working on a voiceover for an animated feature, Noah’s Ark and then a couple of TV movies.

Apparently in between all the crazy, Amy Winehouse has been working with British sportswear firm Fred Perry on a line of clothing.  And guess what?  It looks just like what you’d think a Wino collection would look like.  I can totally see her wearing every single one of these pieces… which pretty much guarantees that I will not be enamored of any of it.  The argyle sweater is awfully cute, but the rest of it is just eh. To tell you the truth, I’m surprised there aren’t any exposed undergarments on display here.

1980s rocker Rick Springfield is on the book tour trail promoting his new memoir, Late, Late At Night.   As any child of the 80s knows, the title of his book comes from his Grammy-winning hit “Jessie’s Girl.”  What many of us didn’t know was Springfield’s battles with depression, a failed suicide attempt, and various sexual acting out – all of which are revealed in the book.

He commented:

“I wasn’t a drug guy, per se, but I damaged myself with all the depression and all the sexual issues. I put myself through the wringer. I didn’t have to stick a needle in my arm to do it–it was already inside me.”

I was never the hugest fan, but the first concert I ever attended was a Rick Springfield show back in 1984.  So there’s a total soft spot in my heart for the guy.  It’s amazing that he went through so much and is still intact – and married for over 30 years to the same woman, too.  And not looking bad for a guy who’s 61 years old, either.

Celine Dion has done it again, twice!  She gave birth to fraternal twin boys yesterday at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach,  at 11:11 a.m. and 11:12 a.m., weighting it at 5 lbs., 4 oz. and 5 lbs., 10 oz.

Her rep told People,

“Celine, René and their son René-Charles are thrilled.”

The boys arrived via c-section and with lots of hair.  They will have to camp out in the incubator for a few days since they were a tad premature.

Her rep added,

“Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up.  René-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here.”

BMX champ, TJ Lavin is off of all of his tubes and is looking much better.  He’s still not opening his eyes, but he is responding to his family, and speaking a few mumbled words.

TJ is still waiting for his shattered wrist to be surgically fixed.  Once TJ gets out of the hospital, he’s likely to have to go through some therapy to get his brain back to “normal.”

Bottom line.  TJ Lavin is doing much better, but still has a ways to go.  At this point, it looks like he will remain in the hospital for another week.
