Taylor Swift has another venture up her sleeve. Perfume!  Hey, why not?  Every other celebrity has a scent and a book out.  Taylor Swift is just as unqualified as the rest of them!

Mostly I like her perspective on the world of perfumes in general,

“I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory…the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts,” Taylor says in a release announcing her new gig as a perfumer. “Lately I’ve been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I’m really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance.”

It’s true!  I have memories triggered daily by different smells in the air.  I love it.  Can’t wait to see what Taylor comes up with.  But I will have to be patient until later on next year (2011.)
