Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively unveiled the Swarovski star that will top the 2010 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree inNew York City yesterday.  This thrills me to no end.  I love Christmas and anything that makes it feel closer is great news for me!

Her jacket on the other hand is not great.  Looks like she borrowed it form her grandma.  Thank goodness she’s a total babe, otherwise, there would be a problem.

And he’s still scary! Alice Cooper performed at Alcatraz club in Milan, Italy and put on quite the show.  He will be 63 in February but he’s still going strong.

There must be something in rocker blood.  They seen like a fleet of Energizer Bunnies!

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are united again in the desire to help stock up food banks and bring relief from hunger to families all across the States. Feeding America is an organization that aims to reduce food insecurity.

The veteran actors and long time friends filmed PSA’s (public service announcements) to bring awareness to the problem and engage people to fight to end hunger.

Winter time is approaching and while their is need throughout the year, in the winter food banks across the United States need more help to keep the supplies ready.

San Antonio Spurs Tony Parker is coming forward to refute earlier published reports that claimed he was filing for divorce from his wife, actress Eva Longoria, first in Texas and that he was taken by surprise when she set it in motion, filing in California.

“Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately,” he says in a statement issued by his rep. “I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles.”

“I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California,” he says. “We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private.”

Parker is not commenting directly on the allegations of sexting with his former team mate’s wife Erin Barry. Longoria is letting the world know that she found “hundreds of texts” on her then husbands phone, through her longtime friend, Mario Lopez.

Longoria has not named the woman who was sexting with Parker publicly but former team mate Brent Barry and Erin were very close friends of the couple, even after Barry left the Spurs. Brent and Erin quietly set their divorce in motion at the end of October and it is speculated that Longoria and Parker’s friendship with the couple came to an abrupt end, just before Longoria filed for divorce.

What an uphappy ending for the couple.

Heidi Klum is busier than ever with 4 children, her duties on Project Runway and a line of clothing with New Balance. The super busy empire building mogul took for Self magazine’s December 2010 issue to glow golden on the cover. Here is what she had to say about her crazy busy life:

Overwhelmed much?

“Definitely! When I’m at the dinner table and everybody asks me a question at the same time. Or when the baby cries and cries and you’re, like, ‘What is wrong? You’re not hungry. I changed you—what is it?’ The sound level goes really high, and it’s like, whoa! I take a deep breath and say, ‘This is my world.’ It’s a roller coaster. Sometimes you’re on top and everything is fabulous, and sometimes it’s crazy. But it’s what I wanted, and in the end, I love it.”

Heidi & Seal: The Real Deal:

“Part of why we’re so good together is that, in a lot of ways, we’re opposites. I’m speedy, and I don’t like sitting still for long. My husband is the most patient person I’ve ever met. He can explain something to the children for hours, and I will just say, ‘OK, this is how it is.’ We’re both really creative people. We may have some different passions, but we love and respect and trust each other.”

Looking youthful – the secret:

“The ultimate beauty secret for a woman getting older is, Don’t be too thin! It is always better to have a little meat on your bones. When you are just muscle, you end up being gaunt in the face, and that makes you look older by 5 or 10 years. I don’t think of getting older as looking better or worse; it’s just different. You change, and that’s OK. Life is about change. I don’t have anxiety about it, so I’m not running to get Botox. Maybe that will change, but I don’t think so. I feel comfortable in my skin and comfortable with aging, so I think it’s OK that I get wrinkles.”

Angela Chase is coming home!

Claire Danes is headed back to TV. Showtime has cast her in the pilot for the upcoming drama Homeland. The story focuses on a soldier who was captured in the 2003 Iraqi invasion and Danes will play Carrie Anderson, a CIA agent with personal demons to battle. The producers of 24 are heading this project so the psychological aspect and the action sequences will be tense.

It’s not My So-Called Life, but it will still be good to have her back.

Kate Bosworth has partnered with Cher Coulter for the JewelMint line of jewelry. The two have teamed up to develop an exclusive club membership site where subscribers can chose a monthly item for around $30 a month. The line is sleek and modern with some vintage twists. Bosworth and Coulter say they do use pieces in their personal collection as inspiration:

Have any of the JewelMint pieces been inspired by pieces in your personal collections?

K.B.: Some pieces found in our collection have been inspired by bits Cher and I have found in vintage markets. And I recently took a trip back to Boston, where my parents reside, and raided my mom’s costume jewelry from the ’70s and brought a lot of it back with me for inspiration! I am constantly inspired by environment, by a mood, by a person. Recently, I was traveling around Sweden and hunted through antique markets for pieces to bring back to Cher. And we now have a pair of earrings in our February collection that were inspired by a silver pin found in Gothenburg.
C.C.: Each piece has been inspired by something Kate and I have experienced firsthand, and it’s always fun to see what that inspiration evolves into. I got my inspiration for the Charleston earrings in our December collection from a pair of Deco-style earrings I found shopping at a church sale with my mum in the Cotswolds of England’s countryside.

Bosworth says she loves fashion but that she is not a designer. She brings her aesthetic sense to the table. Celebrity stylist Coulter, who had her own line for 8 years, felt that jewelry would be a rewarding venture for the friends.

Cher has been absent from movies (and most talk shows) for a while but she has a lot of catching up to do with us. The Burlesque star gave Parade magazine the scoop on what’s been going down in her life all this while. The Academy Award winning actress opened up about her daughter Chastity‘s gender reassignment surgery to become Chaz, how it’s been a struggle for her, her rocky marriage to Sonny Bono and her love life today:

On Sonny’s control and womanizing: “He didn’t want me to grow up or have any freedom,” she explains. “I wasn’t allowed to do anything except work. We worked more than we lived. Stardom made Sonny a huge womanizer,” she says. “One woman, or even five, was not enough for him. I found all this out afterward. I asked him, ‘How did you manage the logistics?’ I was trusting and faithful with him. The truth is, I’m not so sure we should’ve ever been husband and wife.”

On Chaz’s decision to go through with surgery: “When I realized she was going to do it, it was rocky for me. I thought, What will the press do to her? What will they do to the two of us together? It’s going to be the biggest nightmare that will not stop. But the press was kinder than I thought they would be. It’s hard, ’cause she’s still my girl. But she has an inner strength and she’s a courageous person–she believes what she believes. She and her girlfriend came over for dinner last night. All of us were there, my boyfriend too.”

Cher’s current flame, writer Ron Zimmerman:  “A girlfriend of mine knew him,” she explains. “He wrote her this funny stuff. So then Ron and I started writing to each other on Facebook. He thought that I was a Cher impersonator or a hooker–it never occurred to him that it was actually me. We played verbal volleyball for about a month until he called my friend and asked who I really was. She went, ‘It’s Cher.’ Ron flipped out. Then we talked on the phone. I said, ‘Why don’t you come over and we’ll meet? If I don’t like you or you don’t like me, you can just go home.’ And that’s how we met.

Prince William and his fiance Kate Middleton gave their first joint interview together on Tuesday to address their engagement announcement. The couple, both 28 years-old, sat down for a sort of “Meet Your Future Royals” kind of genial chat.

William reveals that he carried the ring (his mother Princess Diana’s) ring in his rucksack for 3 weeks waiting for the right moment to pop the question.

Middleton says she is close to her family and her mother is “over the moon” about the Royal engagement.

Glee is invading Super Bowl Sunday! The super popular FOX TV show about the misfit choir kids of William McKinley High will air a supersized episode following the football activities on February 6, 2011. Here’s what we know about it:

Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” will be used (and it will be a mash-up)
It will NOT be a tribute episode (Thank You!)
Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum and Katy Perry covers are in
Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) and Blaine (Darren Criss) will be in this epi
It will focus on the football championship of the team (Thriller is performed during the halftime)
Coach Sue’s (Jane Lynch) Cheerios and their Cheerleader Regionals.

I am so relieved it won’t be a theme/tribute show. They take away from the story too drastically.

I am looking forward to this show’s less focus on the choir issues and more on the kids and their athletics teams. Most of the kids are involved in either the football team or cheerleading squad so it will be a great way to flesh out some of the existing stories that seem to go nowhere.
