Bret Michaels and Tish Cyrus‘ alleged affair is supposed to be the real reason that Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorce.  Well, as expected, Bret is callin BS on the allegations.

He told Fox & Friends,

“The answer is no.  I’ve been friends with her family forever.  It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn,’ the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record. … When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song … and that was it.”

That sounds innocent enough, right.  Well, then how did this rumor start?  And why hasn’t Tish made a real statement about it?  I really hope it’s not true.  I love Bret Michaels and you’d have to be a pretty bad guy to sleep with your friend’s wife.  Do you think Bret is telling the truth?

Today would have been Brittany Murphy’s 33 birthday.  R.I.P.  So sad.  Still can’t believe she’s gone.  In need of some attention, her mother, Sharon Murphy has decided now would be a good time to announce that she’s writing a book.

Her rep told TMZ,

“This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career.” and it will bean  ”accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves, and career.”

I am sorry, but I always that that Simon Monjack (R.I.P.) and Sharon were shady characters, who were exploiting Brittany’s death.  I don’t think that has changed now either.

Grave robbers have stolen some statues from Skipknot’s bassist Paul Gray’s grave, TMZ is reporting.

Band members are asking for help,

“There were statues of a gargoyle as well as a Buddah that were placed at Paul’s grave by his friends and family that were taken.  We ask that whoever did this please return the items no questions asked. If anyone has any information about the stolen items please let us know.”

Some people are so twisted.  Who steals from graves?  That’s so wrong on many levels.  I hope someone comes forward soon.

Don’t the reality stars usually go for the porn gigs after they star on the reality show?  I think that is customary.  But in the case of the current season of MTV’s The Real World: Las Vegas, they cast a known, gay porn star. Dustin Zito (24) is on the show and is allegedly hooking up with a female cast mate.  So, what’s his real story who knows.  Probably claiming to be bi, he’s a whole new load of drama.

Martin Sheen has been cast to play Uncle Ben in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot.

Breaking news: Martin Sheen (Apocalypse Now, The Departed, Catch Me If You Can) has joined the cast of Columbia Pictures’ 3D Spider-Man reboot, which is being directed by (500) Days of Summer helmer Marc Webb. Sheen will play Peter Parker’s Uncle Ben.

In the traditional Spider-Man story, Peter Parker is brought up by Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Parker is given superpowers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Uncle Ben’s murder during a robbery results in Parker’s new ambition to become a crimefighter. The character first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (published in August 1962), created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, and was killed in the very same issue.

Seems like the perfect choice as far as the look goes. It’s going to be strange to see all the re-castings happen. I’m still just glad Tobey Maguire is no longer playing Spider-Man, he was bad.
