Channing Tatum is likely to star in the new movie remake 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill.
Channing Tatum has jumped to the top of the list for the lead of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s 21 Jump Street.I’m told that Tatum will soon be in negotiations to star alongside Jonah Hill. Production will begin in the spring.
Based on the 1987 Stephen J. Cannell series that was one of the Fox Network’s early successes and launched Johnny Depp, the movie was co-written by Hill and will be directed by Cloudy with the Chance of Meatballs helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller. I’m told that the studio has met with a bunch of potential leading men and that Tatum and Hill matched up well. Both look youthful, which helps since the film is about undercover officers who infiltrate schools to fight crime.
Not a good actor in anything I’ve seen him in, maybe he’s been taking some classes? This is one of those obscure titles that will have to really be hyped to grab the attention of the youth. I guess that’s the reasoning behind Tatum‘s casting; female viewers.

Tonight the Dancing With The Stars crew is knocked down to just four remaining duos. This season has flown by! I can hardly believe it’s already approaching the finals.
The big question tonight is, will Bristol Palin make it through? I thought she was a goner last week. But she survived! So who’s to say she won’t pull it out again? I think she’s leaving but, if not, it could be Kurt. If I had my wish, Brandy would be history.
Tonight the guest performances are going to be very entertaining!
John Legend and The Roots will team up to perform two numbers, “Wake Up!” and “Ordinary People.” Taio Cruz will perform his chart topping single “Dynamite.” Len, Kenny and Jerry will bring lack-of-sexy back with Dance Center. And there will be a performance by 9-year-old piano prodigy Emily Bear, a pianist who was recently invited to play at The White House. Emily will perform with the DWTS orchestra and will be accompanied by young ballroom dance champions Sophia Latessa and Tyler Golman (age 9) and Rickie Taylor and Erik Linder (age 10).
UPDATE: Kurt Warner was sent home. Not really surprised. I think that Bristol is the only one who was shocked. Congrats to the semi-finalists! Well done, Kurt. You were a class act!

Well there’s officially a name for the upcoming Batman sequel, it will be titled The Dark Knight Rises. Director Christopher Nolan has confirmed the title, the fact that it will not be shot in 3D and that the Riddler will not be in the film!
In an interview published minutes ago, director Christopher Nolan revealed that the title of the third Batman film will be The Dark Knight Rises…
…The news comes from Geoff Boucher over at Hero Complex, who was able to score a coveted interview with the secretive director. “It won’t be the Riddler,” Nolan said of the third film’s villain, squashing earlier rumors and speculation to the contrary. He also noted, “We’ll use many of the same characters as we have all along, and we’ll be introducing some new ones,” a fairly self-evident yet cryptic statement.
No Riddler, so who’s going to be the bad guy? There are an insane amount of guesses and speculations buzzing around the internet. Which Batman villain would you like to see in the next film?

I’ll watch the movie because of the star power and the possibility of it being good, but I’m not really expecting a gem here. What do you think?

Kendra Wilkinson is the cover girl for Playboy again. The December 2010 issue boasts another spread by Kendra, but she’s concerned about our thoughts on the spread and wanted to clear things up on her blog,
“Hey guys! So I wanted to clear something up really quick! A lot of you saw on my show that I was struggling to decide whether to pose for Playboy again or not. I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn’t from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the mansion. I’m flattered to be on the cover again and as you all know Playboy has a very special place in my heart! I just wanted you guys to know I didn’t recently pose.”
That’s nice and all. But I don’t think it’s the public that has a problem, it’s your husband. What’s the difference if the naked pictures were shot yesterday or two years ago? They are still new, racy photos for the world to see.

Great news for bond fans around the world. Bond 23 is back on track for a 2012 release, with plans for bi-annual sequels from then on.
Having officially filed for bankruptcy in preparation for its next phase of existence, MGM has begun making big plans for the return of James Bond reports Bloomberg.
The studio is apparently fully intent on shooting the next 007 film in the next two years with a release date of November 2012 already being targeted, and is reportedly planning to releasing a new 007 film at regular two year intervals after that (meaning 2014, 2016, 2018, etc.).
Great news, hopefully Daniel Craig will still fill Bond’s shoes. He has new commitments, but I’m betting they will schedule around these conflicts to keep him.

Here are some brand new images from the upcoming film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This is our first look at Eustace after he’s transformed into a dragon!
Nice images, Fox has decided to keep this film pretty heavily under wraps considering it’s coming out in about a month. This is one of my favorite stories in the series, I’m really looking forward to this.

Last night on Dancing With The Stars, we saw the competition really heat up. It was the first time contestants had to do the ‘instant dance’ and I was surprised at how well they did!
BUT, the highlight of the night for me was Bristol and Mark dancing the Argentine tango. They rocked. Bristol finally put her game face on and it worked. Unfortunately, the judges are still on the Brandy train and Bristol and Mark are at the bottom of the leader board again.
Can Bristol survive tonight’s elimination?

Here’s the first teaser poster for the upcoming sequel Kung Fu Panda 2.
If this movie is even as close to as good as the first one was we’re in for a treat. Unfortunately sequels are rarely as good, perhaps this will be an exception.
