There’s a new movie going into development around the Pink Floyd song Another Brick In the Wall.

Andy Harries, producer of The Queen and The Damned United, is planning a movie based around the Pink Floyd track Another Brick In the Wall. But it’s not a remake of Alan Parker’s Pink Floyd movie The Wall. Rather, it tells the true story of the schoolchildren who sang on the 1979 number one and their maverick music teacher. Harries tells me it’s “Dead Poets Society meets School of Rock.” He’s optioned the life story of music teacher Alan Renshaw who arrived at a struggling north London comprehensive (public) school in the late 70s, determined to shake things up.

Doesn’t sound too exciting to me, but The Queen was an excellent film. If they can line up an actor as fantastic as Helen Mirren for this film I’m sure it’ll be good.

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones spent some time with their two kiddos at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.  I absolutely love these snaps of them.  Michael’s smile is so sweet.  From all of the turmoil the family has been going through since he was diagnosed with throat cancer, it’s heart melting to see them all having such a good time together, making memories that no one can ever take away.

They enjoyed the Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster (above) as well as some samples of Butterbeer, and they even got fitted for wands at Ollivanders and toured Hogwarts Castle.  Fun!  I’ve always wanted to visit that park, it looks like a blast!

Jay Photoglou happens to be a very bitter ex of Gretchen Rossi from The Real Housewives of Orange County.  After Jay appears on the show, she sued him for defamation, because he claimed they dated while she was engaged to another guy.  (Drama!)

The judge pretty much laughed at her claims and dismissed the whole thing.  So now Jay is taking a swing at her,  filing docs in Orange County Superior Court demanding that Rossi pay for everything he incurred during the fiasco:

- $96.25 for parking fees
- $289 in “mileage fees”
- $20.85 for a dinner meeting regarding the case
- $72,072.80 in legal fees.

Rossi’s rep said,

“The fee’s [Jay] claims he accrued are a result of his own actions by filing a SLAPP motion to stop Ms. Rossi’s pending litigation against him. The reality is this attempt was not very successful and the meat of Gretchen’s case still remains.”

How funny is that.  Jay looks like a bigger DB than he ever did before.  Talk about checking your manhood at the door.  So pathetic!

Last night I went to the movies and saw Morning Glory.  I was dying to see it being a huge Rachel McAdams fans and well, anything with Harrison Ford I have to see.

I knew it was going to be great, but I had no idea that I would be in stitches, laughing through the entire thing.   Talk about a feel good, happy, all around, perfect flick!

Here’s the synopsis,

When hard–working TV producer Becky Fuller (McAdams) is fired from a local news program, her career begins to look as bleak as her hapless love life. Stumbling into a job at “Daybreak” (the last–place national morning news show), Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Ford). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover morning show staples like celebrity gossip, weather, fashion and crafts – let alone work with his new co–host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former beauty queen and longtime morning show personality who is more than happy covering morning “news.” As Mike and Colleen clash, first behind the scenes and then on the air, Becky’s blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel – and soon Becky is struggling to save her relationship, her reputation, her job and ultimately, the show itself.

You won’t be disappointed or wondering why you just blew $10.  You’ll just leave, looking forward to it’s DVD release so you can see it again.

Heidi Fleiss thankfully didn’t completely lose her home to the scary house fire on Thanksgiving. The total damage only ended up being about $60,000.  From the looks of the photos, I would think it was a total loss!

Even though she was able to save all 20 of her birds, she lost the guest house completely that she kept them in.  Plus she lost all of her clothes and her Tempur-Pedic bed was ruined.

Money is just money, I am glad that Heidi and her pets are okay.  Hopefully Christmas will be a better holiday for her and the birds.

Lindsay Lohan skipped the crowds of Black Friday (smart girl) and hit up some outlet stores near the Betty Ford clinic yesterday.  She wasn’t getting her own retail therapy, she was getting in some Christmas shopping for her friends and family.

Lilo hit up Gucci and Michael Kors (LOVE those stores!) along with a few other hot spots.

Baby steps.  Baby steps.  Good work Lindsay.  Keep it up!

Leave It To Beaver star, Jerry Mathers is getting married at the sweet age of 62.  He’s ready to tie the knot with his girlfriend of five years, Teresa Modnick.

Jerry’s sister introduced them and it looks like she’s quite the matchmaker!  The upcoming wedding is set for January at the Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach.

Sounds beautiful to me.  I love beach weddings!

Congrats to the happy couple.  So sweet!

James Franco just taped an episode of Inside the Actors Studio and he was in such high demand, the staff had to turn away 250 people.  After James finished the interview,

“James stayed another hour-and-a-half after the taping and talked to every single student and fan who wanted to talk.  No one has done that since Paul Newman … the very first guest that ever appeared on the show.”

The lady fans were heard throughout the interview, shrieking for the sexy James that they couldn’t get enough of.  The interview is set to air next month and I don’t think I want to miss it.  Sounds pretty “intense.”

Brooke Mueller split from the sober living house where she was just escorted to on Thanksgiving morning to spend some time with her twins Bob and Max on a family day out at The Grove.  They got to visit Santa and makes some Christmas wishes.  I wonder what Brooke asked for for Christmas?

Later on, Brooke went to Dan Tana’s with Rick and Kathy Hilton.  This was obviously related to the reality show that she is starring in with their daughter, Paris Hilton. Such a strange combination.
