Mary Hart and Entertainment Tonight will be parting ways after this final season on the show and Mary has announced that Nancy O’Dell will be the new girl!

It only seems fitting that Nancy get this gig.  She’s pretty excited about it,

“I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered and dreaming about working for the show someday,” O’Dell says. “I am honored to be the one chosen to fill a TV legend’s seat and I hope I can do her proud!”

Mary is please that Nancy is on board,

“Leaving this job was not an easy decision, but knowing I will pass the baton to Nancy O’Dell makes that decision much easier,  Nancy is a talented and respected entertainment correspondent. We have spent many years working on opposite sides of the celebrity battlefield and I know the show will flourish with Nancy as co-anchor.”

Congratulations to both ladies, I think Nancy is going to be great and Mary is ready to be done.  It’s a win-win!

Yesterday, AnnaLynne McCord was seen in public, eating lunch with her sister and friends at Urth Caffe in Los Angeles and she looked happy.  OMG.  What is wrong with her?  Does she not remember that she and Kellan Lutz just broke up?  What isn’t she hiding in her house, wearing sweats, eating junk food and watching sappy movies?  That’s exactly what I’d be doing if I no longer had Kellan in my bed.

Well that got your attention, didn’t it?  It’s not what you think, or maybe it is, I’m not sure yet.  The lovely and quirky Maggie Gyllenhaal is currently at work on a new movie called Hysteria.  It’s the story of the invention of the vibrator.  No, Maggie doesn’t invent the vibrator.  She plays the girl who falls in love with the man who invented the device in the 19th century.

And really, ladies, could you blame that girl?  Actually, the vibrator was first developed as a medical cure for women who were diagnosed with “hysteria” (thus the title of the movie), whose symptoms included “anxiety, insomnia, irritability or nervousness.”     No word yet whether we get to see Maggie testing out any early prototypes.

Demi Lovato has only been in rehab for a few days, working on a rumored eating disorder and a cutting problem. While some sources say she’s already getting better, others say it’s not certain.  As to when she might leave, OK!‘s source said:

“It depends on the doctor’s advice and how well Demi progresses.”

Her friend Travis Clark of We The Kings says that things aren’t even that bad. He calls her issues

“…not severe.  I speak with her frequently, so I knew [many of the rumors out there] were lies.  It’s tough for any one of us to be in the public eye at all times. If I go missing for a day, people are like, ‘He’s entered rehab and he’s gone completely off the deep end.’ It’s a classic, ‘Don’t believe everything you hear’ story. Unfortunately there are a lot of rumors and a lot of lies out there.”

So is she even IN rehab then?   One of OK!‘s other sources seems to believe that she is.

“Demi is not receiving care at one of the Hollywood-type centers.  She is at a real facility that specializes in helping adolescent and adult women with the types of issues she has battled throughout her life. Details about her care are going to remain private.”

So to sum up.  Demi may or may not be in rehab, where she may or may not be receiving treatment for issues that she may or may not have.  But if she IS in rehab and she DOES have issues, she’s at a “real” rehab center, not somewhere like Promises.    Got it?

Megamind, the new animated film opened at #1 this past weekend (November 5-7th, 2010) with a respectable $46 million. Coming in second place was the new comedy starring Robert Downey Jr. Due Date, which made $32.6 million. And finally, Tyler Perry‘s new movie For Colored Girls opened at #3 with $19.4 million. Nothing else opened in the top 10, but it was a pretty big weekend as a pre-cursor to a big holiday movie season.

Rachel McAdams was nothing short of stunning at the world premiere of ‘Morning Glory‘ held at the Clearview Cinemas Ziegfeld Theater in New York City yesterday.  I am beyond excited to see this movie.  I love, love, love Rachel and Harrison Ford is amazing.  I love everything he touches.
