Bret Michaels finally proposed to the mother of his two children, on/off girlfriend Kristi Gibson, on the season finale of his reality TV show for VH1 Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.

“I love you and you’ve been unbelievably a big part of my life and we have two beautiful girls together and I know we love and respect each other… I want you to be my wife,” said Michaels.

Gibson, 39 and Michaels, 47, have two daughters Raine, 10 and Jorja, 5 and have been together in stops and starts for 16 years.

It took four VH1 reality shows for the man to get it, but God bless him, he finally did.

AMC’s surprise hit show The Walking Dead is thankfully, getting a second season. It will be quite a while before it airs unfortunately, but to keep fans enticed, the showrunners are giving us hints for the coming episodes in this new featurette.

In the video, producer and head writer Frank Darabont said:

“I want the audience to feel uncertain when they tune in. My hope is that if we’re lucky enough to be in a long run in a show like this, then we can make the stakes as high as we can as we go along.”

No official start date for season 2 has been set however October 2011 has been tossed around as the target date. Waiting for TWD to return for season 2 is killing me!

The daughter of Princess Anne, Zara Phillips is set to wed her long-term boyfriend Mike Tindall. The two met in a bar in Sydney after the 2003 Rugby World Cup and have been living together for several years.

Phillips, 29 and Tindall, 32 confirmed that he proposed on December 20th at their home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

The couple said:

In a statement this afternoon she said: ‘I was really shocked when Mike proposed but I am very happy.’

Tindall, 32, added: ‘I am delighted that Zara has agreed to marry me. We are both very excited about the next stage of our lives together.’

No wedding date has been made public for The Queen’s eldest granddaughter but it would be unlikely it would take place before Prince William and Kate Middleton’s nuptials in April.

Betty White is so red hot right now.

The octogenarian actress has had a stellar year capped off with being named by the Associated Press as the 2010 Entertainer of the Year.

Along with getting a new sitcom gig Hot In Cleveland, the former Golden Girl hit the big screen with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in The Proposal and You Again with Jamie Lee Curtis and Kristen Bell. She was in that awesome Snickers Super Bowl commercial and hosted Saturday Night Live that aired Mother’s Day weekend.

“It’s ridiculous,” she said of the honor. “They haven’t caught on to me, and I hope they never do.”

Betty. Is. Awesome. Cheers to lots more Betty in 2011!

Julianne Hough is too sexy for her own good.

The former Dancing with the Stars pro has turned to country music and for her single “Is That So Wrong,” the songstress has found herself with a bit of a problem: Country Music Television will not air the racy video.

Citing contractual reasons as the issue, reps for CMT said:

“We world premiered the video back in July,” a CMT representative told OnTheRedCarpet.com. “We took it down shortly thereafter due to ongoing contract negotiations with Julianne’s label, Universal Music Group.”

So why is this coming up now – 6 months later? Because Hough would like some publicity, it seems and she brought it up:

While performing at the Acoustic Christmas Concert in Baltimore, Hough told the crowd that her video for new single ‘Is That So Wrong’ has been deemed unsuitable for CMT, saying, “Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom.”

Meh. Six months after the fact we should care?

Tracy Morgan has successfully undergone a kidney transplant at the beginning of December but the 30 Rock star is still mending.

The surgery took place around December 10th and while the actor has already been seen at a Knicks game this week, he will miss a few episodes of filming that are scheduled to air in March. A representative for the comedian said:

“Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery. He is looking forward to going back to work after the holidays.”

It is thought that Tina Fey and the writers will address the issue by having Morgan’s character Tracy Jordan, have a meltdown.

Actor Steve Landesberg lost his battle with cancer and has died his agent, Jeffrey Leavitt confirmed. Landesberg is best known as Detective Sgt. Arthur Dietrich on the long running 70s police TV comedy Barney Miller and more recently a role in the Jason Segel and Russell Brand film Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Of his role as a cop Landesberg said:

“I’m not really much like Dietrich,” he told the Washington Post in 1979. “He reads everything. Science, technology, economics. I have no interest in that stuff.… I try to play him as a cop. Intellectual and funny, but a good cop.”

Landesberg said police officers “tell me they know guys like Dietrich … most cops never fire their guns. That’s why they like our show.”

The 65 year-old actor is survived by his wife, Nancy and daughter Elizabeth.

The Kings of Leon have escaped tragedy as a tour bus went up in flames early this morning in London outside the world famous O2 Arena. The Tennessee rockers were set to perform tonight at the venue however, with smoke and water damage still being assessed, their concert this evening may be cancelled.

Reports of around 60 firefighters and 12 fire engines were brought to battle the blazing bus while the dome was evacuated. Six people were treated for smoke inhalation but otherwise there are no reported injuries.

UPDATE: The concert is officially canceled at will be rescheduled.

Shania Twain is living a country song. Her cheating man left her for her best friend and she moves on with that friend’s now ex-husband. Oy! I need a chart…

Twain and her husband of 14 years, music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange divorced in 2008 after Twain accused him of cheating with the couple’s close friend and house manager Marie-Anne Thiebaud. Both Mutt and Marie-Anne deny the affair however the allegations ended both marriages.

Two years later and Shania is announcing her engagement to Frederic Thiebaud, a Swiss businessman and executive for Nestlé, who happens to be the ex-husband of one Marie-Anne.

Speaking about her fiance: “We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other. We’ve become closer and and stronger through it all,” Twain wrote on her website last year.

“And having gone through the suffering of his family splitting apart at the same time and under the same extreme circumstances, he understands me better than anyone.”

If Twain doesn’t want to write lyrics about this, she should turn it over to Taylor Swift - this is right up her alley.

They’ve been married for just under a year and now actor Vince Vaughn and his wife, Kyla Weber have added a baby to their new household.

Weber gave birth in Vaughn’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois to a seven pound, healthy baby girl.

The littlest Vaughn gets the name of Locklyn Kyla Vaughn and is heading home with her folks.

Congratulation to the new parents!
