After 10 years as the editor of influential French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld has decided to move on to other opportunities.

Roitfeld started as a model when she was 18 years old and became a fashion journalist and a stylist along the way to her tenure at French Vogue. Before landing the editorial stewardship, she worked with designer Tom Ford at Gucci and now that she is free, it is being speculated that she may join Ford again.

Roitfeld is not giving too much away saying: “I think it’s time to do something different.”

Under her leadership, French Vogue has received record editorial dollars and it’s highest circulation figures. Way to go out on top.

Greeted by a mob of fans in South Africa this week, Khloe and Kim Kardashian are in Cape Town doing promotional duties for Brutal Fruit’s new “Cheeky Cranberry” drink.

The Keeping up with The Kardashian stars also attended the Tickled Pink party and a VIP dinner but now are stranded. Their flight out of the city was cancelled (due to weather) and will keep the sisters from making it home in time for their annual Christmas party with their late father’s (attorney Robert Kardashian,) side of the family.

Brooke Shields was among the celebrities who attended the opening night of the family musical comedy Dear Edwina at the DR2 in New York City off Broadway.

Described as Glee for younger kids, the holiday play brought out the celebs and their kids for a fun night out. Mary Louise Parker and TLC’s What Not To Wear host Clinton Kelly were on hand as well.

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp hit the Villamagna Hotel in Madrid, Spain to promote their film The Tourist.

Now, Angelina is wearing all black (again) and she paired it nicely with a fuzzy white shrug.

Johnny, who I adore, is starting to look and dress eerily like Bob Forrest, the addictions counselor on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.

Burlesque stars Cher and Chrisitna Aguilera took part in a photo call at the CineStar Potsdamer Platzmovie theater in Berlin, Germany last week. The overseas duties also brought out Cam Gigandet and Kristen Bell to help with promotion for the film that is under performing here in the States.

Fashion standouts: Aguilera wore an Alberta Ferretti pink chiffon halter dress and Bell wore Brian Reyes abstract print dress for the session.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice went to Coconut Creek, Florida on December 16th to attend the 4th Annual Sweet Dreams dessert extravaganza at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino.

The reality TV stars signed photos and Teresa signed copies of her book The Skinny Italian, all while helping to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House and Disabled American Veterans.

Ah, Winona Ryder.  If you are about my age, back in the 1980s and 1990s you either wanted to be her or do her, depending on your gender and sexual orientation.   She seems to slowly be building her career back after those nasty little incidents involving drugs and shoplifting several years ago, and currently appears with Natalie Portman in Black Swan.

Winona is also featured in January 2011′s GQ.  And while the interview and article are lame and forgettable, the photoshoot is quite the opposite.   She is sexy, intelligent, mysterious, very, very cool – and doesn’t try for a minute to look any younger than her 39 years, which I totally respect.  Yeah, I was one of those who totally idolized-slash-girl-crushed on her.   I thought maybe I was over it, but really, what’s the rush?   But I really do have to motor if I’m going to make it to that funeral on time.

In another stunning display of her questionable taste in men, Denise Richards has confirmed that she is dating Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.

She confessed to Andy Cohen of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo:

“He’s been my neighbor for years.  I may have borrowed some sugar from him once or twice…We’ve gone on a couple dates.  The God’s honest truth is we’re taking it very slowly.”

The god’s honest truth is that I am kind of grossed out… but not at all surprised.  Nikki likes kind of trashy girls, and Denise likes really, really bad boys.  I give them about six months, tops.

Guy Fieri gets a special guest on his Food Network TV show Guy’s Big Bite. Matthew McConaughey is going rub down a roast and probably talk about ‘Flavor Town’ with Fieri (really Guy, you do need something new in your repertoire.)

In the one-hour “Guy’s Big Bite” special on December 18th, McConaughey will help Fieri create a feast including an appetizer of roasted Malibu oysters and an entree of herb-rubbed pork roast with pesto veggies next to a fresh farro salad with citrus vinaigrette. And what’s all this food without a stellar drink? McConaughey will also whip up his all-time favorite margarita.

Whatever those two are cooking, I hope it’s going to be fairly entertaining for the Bill & Ted dialogue that I imagine coming from this episode.

Lady Gaga is performing all over the world on the Monster’s Ball tour and hit London’s O2 Arena on December 16th with her zany costumes and major hits.

One spectacular outfit she donned was this plastic see-through dress with a nun like head piece. She looked like she was channeling Sally Field’s classic 60s character The Flying Nun.  (You see it too don’t you?) One gust of wind and it’s Sister Gaga to the rescue.
