Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake on the streets of Los Angeles filming their sci-fi thriller Now. The production was halted for a bit as Timberlake hurt himself doing a stunt:

“I was just on set and I hurt it. I wish I had a way better story about how I got into this Bruce Lee, Kung Fu fight with someone and ‘you should see the other guy,’ but unfortunately I did it to myself’.”

Now (formerly titled I.M. Mortal) will hit theaters in September 2011.

Oprah Says She Is The “Unofficial Ambassador For Australia”

Oprah Winfrey is loving her time in Australia.

The Queen of television has traveled to the country with 300 American audience members to visit and tape for four one-hour segments of her daytime talk show, the first time ever that her show has been filmed outside the U.S.

Winfrey held a press conference before the taping saying:

“I have named myself an unofficial ambassador for Australia and I have the biggest mouth on earth.”

“I know that there’s a lot of talk and concern in this country as to what this will mean for Tourism Australia,” she told reporters as 6,000 fans waited for Winfrey and guests such as rapper Jay-Z and Bon Jovi to come on stage.

“Let me just tell you — this is the truth: It is immeasurable what four hours of a love festival about your country, broadcast in 145 countries around the world, can do,” she said, referring to her legendary selling power.

For her visit, the Sydney Opera House has been dubbed the Oprah House and crowds have lined the streets everywhere she went. The shows will air in January 2011.

David Thewlis & Anna Friel Relationship Ends

David Thewlis and Anna Friel are splitting after nine years. The British thespians have been working and living apart for a while and the strain took it’s toll on the relationship.

‘It certainly did not help that Anna and David have been forced to live apart for so long, but there are other issues at hand that have made them realise the relationship was over.’

Friends are still hopeful that the couple can resolve their differences. The source added: ‘They do care about each other very much, and the most important thing now is that they both continue to be the best parents they can be for Gracie [the couple's 5 year-old daughter].

‘They will have to see each other over Christmas at some point, but hopefully it will not be too painful.’

Friel is best known to US audiences as Chuck from the cancelled-way-to-early Pushing Daisies (loved that show and I absolutely adored her in it,) and Thewlis is Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter films.

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Go Their Separate Ways

They met during the filming of High School Musical and have been dating for three years, but it wasn’t meant to last. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have separated, with no hard feelings. The relationship “ran it’s course,” said a source.

In August, Efron told Details magazine he was happiest in his committed and stable relationship:

“I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I’m not really like that. Believe me, I rack my brain thinking ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now. You’re peaking on Ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart. It’s exactly how it should be. It’s real.”

Efron will have plenty of options – and so will Hudgens, for that matter. The two are young, attractive and hot properties in Hollywood.

Things happen, people change, relationships falter but it is nice to see that there is no ugly drama involved.
