The Green Hornet stars Cameron Diaz and Seth Rogen posed for the cameras at the Albion Hotel in Berlin, Germany on December 3rd. Rogen is playing the crime fighting super hero and his alter ego, newspaper publisher Britt Reid and Diaz is Lenore “Casey” Case, the secretary of Reid. Here is the official synopsis:

Britt Reid (Seth Rogen), son and heir to Los Angeles’ largest newspaper fortune, is a rich, spoiled playboy who has been happy to maintain a direction-less existence. When his father James Reid (Tom Wilkinson) dies, Britt meets an impressive and resourceful company employee, Kato (Jay Chou). They realize that they have the resources to do something worthwhile with their lives and finally step out of James Reid’s shadow. Kato builds the ultimate weapon, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car with every weapon imaginable and Britt decides that in order to be heroes, they will pose as villains. With the help of Britt’s new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), they learn that the chief criminal in the city is named Benjamin Chudnofsky (Christoph Waltz). He has united all the gangs under his power, and he quickly sees that the Green Hornet is a direct threat to the prosperous criminal underworld he controls.

The movie opens January 14, 2011.

Glee creator Ryan Murphy has a hit show about high school kids on his hands so the question is how long does he keep them in class? Murphy has a plan to move the scooby-glee gang on in a more natural timeline (as opposed to some high school themed shows.)  2012 is not only the end of the world according the Mayan calendar, but it’s the end of Glee as we know it now.  Murphy says we will see many of the New Directions choir graduating.

“Every year we’re going to populate a new group,” Murphy told Australia’s Herald Sun. “There’s nothing more depressing than a high schooler with a bald spot.”

“I think you have to be true to the fact that here is a group of people who come and go in these teachers’ lives — they graduate and they’re gone,” Murphy said. “When some of them finish their run at high school it will be very teary episodes.”

It’s a tough spot to be in. Some of the stars Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith in particular are so identified with the choir that those shoes will be difficult to fill. Maybe moving Colfer’s Kurt to rival school Dalton Academy was the beginning of his master longevity plan? Do you think adding Chord Overstreet’s Sam was also partly to get fans of the show used to the coming changes?

What do you think about this? Would you rather he finds a way (no matter how implausible) to keep the kids around or will you still watch with new kids and a new dynamic?

Katy Perry gets two covers for Harper’s Bazaar for the month of December 2010. The limited edition shot is a bleached out Perry with 150 red Swaorvski crystals applied to her lips for a standout feature.

Perry’s other “regular” cover is another example of the dreaded overzealous photoshop virus that seems to infect every art director and editor at all fashion magazines. (There’s a Walking Dead parallel in there somewhere…)

Brooklyn born Anne Hathaway is Gotham magazine’s cover girl for the Dec 2010/Jan 2011 issue. The star of Love and Other Drugs chats with the publication about yummy Jake Gyllenhaal, the actresses she most admires and what she loves most of all about NYC:

Jake is a charmer: “If you don’t have chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal, then there’s probably something wrong with you, because he is the most insanely charismatic man. All you have to do is listen to him and you’re instantly charmed.”

Which actresses inspire her:  “Laura Linney is one of my favorite actresses. Sometimes when I am trying to remind myself what good acting looks like, I turn to her performances. Oh, and Meryl Streep, obviously, and Sigourney Weaver. Cate Blanchett never ceases to amaze. Marion Cotillard is a new one for me. I’m just in awe of what that woman does. Did you see Inception? I mean, all of that talent and all that emotion… she’s just absolutely stunning. I am so lucky—there are a lot of great women to learn from.”

New York, New York: “Well, my favorite store in the world is Patricia Field. It’s such a playground—the best dress-up closet. I like to go to ABC Carpet & Home and look at the expensive things and try to figure out how to put it together from flea markets. But my favorite thing is to put on some awesome music on the subway and just walk my own personal music video. There’s an intensity of purpose about New Yorkers that suits me very well. It feels like home when things are moving a little bit faster or a little more intensely, a little bit more in your face.”

Gyllenhaal and Hathaway’s Love and Other Drugs is in theaters now.

The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder sat down on the couch of The Tonight Show with host Jay Leno last week to talk about, well, girls and modeling! Leno, who posted the picture of the two (above) on twitter, asked Ian how he felt about his early years in the fashion biz.

“It was a blast. It was so fun,” he told the host.

Somerhalder, a Louisiana native, said he got into acting because he was singing and dancing all the time and his mom put money together to help him get his start but by the age of 13 he wanted to be just a regular high school guy.

“I wanted to go play football, ride my horse and make out with girls who didn’t smoke.”

Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen, what a couple of winners.   While Charlie has hired a sobriety coach to help him stay on the wagon, Brooke has decided to check herself into a “sober living facility” to prevent herself from relapsing.   Calling the move a “precautionary measure,” Brooke’s mother Moira Fiore told Access Hollywood that her daughter has been

“struggling with her sobriety since last Christmas…She did not relapse — she’s following a program to stay sober.”

Brooke is expected to remain in the sober house for a few weeks, while nannies take care of her children, Max and Bob.   This follows her reported involuntary trip to the sober house last week, on Thanksgiving morning.

So what is the difference between a “sober home” and rehab?  They sound the same to me.  Is it only rehab when you’ve fallen off the wagon and need to get back on?  Either way, I wish Brooke luck with her treatment.  She clearly needs it.

Twilight‘s Ashley Greene is Cosmopolitan‘s sexpot of the month for January 2011.   Yes, that is unfettered side boob you see there under her shirt.  Which is probably the most interesting thing about this cover.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not Ashley – I’m just tired of Cosmo‘s unending parade of sexed up young things and headlines about sex.   Boring.

Ashley revealed her thoughts on marriage in the cover story:

“I’m indifferent about marriage. I think sometimes people get married so they can say they have that person forever.  But a ring doesn’t ensure that you’ll stay together.”

Like any proud parents, Danica McKellar and husband Mike Verta are happy to show off their new baby boy.  They gave the honor of their first public photos of little Draco Verta to People.    And he’s so cute!  I think he’s going to look like his mom.  I adore his name, Draco, but feel sorry for him that everyone is going to think they named him after one of the bad guys in Harry Potter.
