Emma Watson has seriously sexy ‘tude in her new ads for People Tree.  Can someone please tell me how she keeps getting hotter and cooler at the same time?

Emma is promoting her Spring/Summer 2011 collection for the fair trade clothing company, the third in their partnership.   The collection formally launches on February 28th, but a few pieces are available online now.   They all look really comfortable, wearable, and best of all, affordable.

John Woo’s ‘The Killer’ Getting a Reboot

The classic John Woo film The Killer is being remade! The New version will star international star Jung Woo-Sung and will be produced (not directed) by John Woo!

Los Angeles, 31 January 2011: Essential Entertainment has joined Lion Rock Productions in its remake of THE KILLER in 3D, currently in pre-production, which will be directed by John H. Lee (A Moment to RememberSaying Good-bye, Oneday) and written by Josh Campbell. Jung Woo-Sung (Reign of AssassinsThe Good, The Bad, The Weird) will star in this English language re-telling of John Woo’s iconic action masterpiece, with additional cast to be announced shortly. The film will be produced by Woo (Face/OffMission: Impossible II) and Terence Chang under their Lion Rock Productions banner. Essential Entertainment will be handling worldwide sales.

This isn’t a movie that needs to be remade in my opinion, but Jung Woo-Sung definitely looks the part! And I’m not thrilled that John Woo himself isn’t directing, but I’m willing to have an open mind about this one.

New Throwback ‘Scream 4′ Poster

Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming horror sequel Scream 4.

This is a clear throwback to the old movies, and a desperate attempt to fit right in with the first three. Too bad this movie doesn’t look nearly as entertaining as the old ones. It’s pretty funny to see David Arquette’s name with top billing on a poster again, it’s been a while!

Chilling New ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ Trailer

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming movie Battle: Los Angeles starring Michelle Rodriguez and Aaron Eckhart.

Wow! I want to see this movie! I’m thoroughly impressed by the gritty realistic style this movie was made in. I quite literally got a little chill when I watched this trailer on my big screen TV with the sound pumped up. I can only imagine how the experience will be in theaters!

New Video: ‘Spider-Man’ Web Swings Through Traffic!

Here’s the latest set video from the upcoming Spider-Man reboot!

It’s great that they are doing so much REAL wire work as opposed to CGI, it gives me a lot of hope for this one! It’s hard to believe that they still haven’t announced an official title for this movie, considering how much footage and promotional material has already come through the net. I’m betting the title will be announced any day now.

‘Captain America’ Covers Empire Magazine

Here’s the brand new cover of Empire Magazine with Chris Evans as Captain America: The First Avenger.

The film, of course, tells the story of skinny, weak Steve Rogers (Chris Evans. plus a bunch of digital trickery), who is determined to fight in World War II despite constantly being turned down for service on medical grounds, and who becomes a volunteer for a Super Soldier Serum formula which turns him into the ultimate soldier (Chris Evans, plus a weight regime that would kill lesser men). Only problem is the fiendish Nazis he’s going to have to fight, led by their ruthless commander Johann Schmidt (Hugo Weaving) and his men.

I don’t know why exactly, but I just have this bad feeling that this movie is going to fall very short. I’m hoping my feelings are wrong, but I just think Captain America is a hard cell. Not to mention, I don’t find Chris Evans to be a very great actor. What do you think?

‘Win Win’ Poster With Paul Giamatti

Here’s the poster for the upcoming movie Win Win starring Paul Giamatti. Here’s what it’s about:

Disheartened attorney Mike Flaherty (Giamatti), who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach, stumbles across a star athlete through some questionable business dealings while trying to support his family. Just as it looks like he will get a double payday, the boy’s mother shows up fresh from rehab and flat broke, threatening to derail everything.

While I like Paul Giamatti and everything, this movie just doesn’t seem all that appealing to me. The poster doesn’t do much to thrill me either.

New ‘Red Riding Hood’ Trailer is Better

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming horror film Red Riding Hood starring Amanda Seyfried.

I have to admit, this trailer made me want to see this. It’s kind of cool seeing a real version of the story I’ve heard about a thousand times. It reminds me of Sleepy Hollow (practically the same concept), I hope it’s good!

New ‘Superman’ Henry Cavill Says He Was First Cast in 2003!

Henry Cavill was announced as the new Superman: Man of Steel on Sunday, but this wasn’t the first time he was cast for this role! He was originally cast to play Superman back in ’03 for director McG!

Cavill has spoken openly about being cast in prior incarnations of Superman on several occasions, but for obvious reasons, it took until now for the discussions to become pertinent.

One such admission came in an interview with MTV:

I was attached to the McG ‘Superman’ movie. Then Bryan Singer came on and took the helm and he made his movie. [The McG and Singer versions] were two different movies. So it wasn’t so much of a sting because it was like, ‘Oh, I got [the role],’ and then the movie just didn’t happen.

So he’s been waiting a long while to play this role! Patience really pays off in this case I guess, he’s gotta be thrilled that this one is actually going to happen!
