Leighton Meester rocked the red carpet for a special screening of her new movie The Roommate at the Soho House in West Hollywood, California.

The actress opted for a minimalist  but stunning Michael Kors maxi dress with leather bodice and cutouts at the side waist. She kept her hair straight, make-up minimal and zero accessories for her amazingly chic look.

Kim Kardashian has something else to sell.

The Keeping up with the Kardashians most famous sibling is “going green” as the new face of the very green colored Midori Melon Liquer. The reality TV star will begin popping on the company’s website and social media pages (and I’m sure we’ll hear a tweet or two from Kim K herself) for the “Stand Out” advertising campaign. Kardashian said:

“My new favorite color? Green, of course!” Kardashian, 30, tells PEOPLE of the new endorsement deal. “I’m so excited to be the face of Midori Melon Liqueur’s new campaign.”

Kardashian will also make personal appearances sharing cocktail recipes and beauty advice starting in April.

Bret Michaels had heart surgery today (Monday) at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.  The procedure was done to repair a small abnormality that was discovered last year during Bret’s recovery from a brain hemorrhage.   It had been scheduled for several  months; the hole in Bret’s heart was apparently present, but undetected, his whole life.

Get better soon, Bret!  You gotta be in good shape when you walk down that aisle with Kristi Gibson!

The 31st Annual Razzie Awards nominees are out and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is on the top of their lousy movie list.

Other movies worthy of a Razzie include The Last Airbender, The Bounty Hunter, The Expendables and Sex and the City 2.

Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Jennifer Aniston, Sylvester Stallone, Robert Pattinson, Megan Fox and Ashton Kutcher all got nods for individual performances.

Castle fans are all over tonight episode “Knockout” on ABC.

Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) get their smooch on in full view of the other detectives tonight as they search for clues in Detective Beckett’s mother’s murder. While the kiss is not the intimate romantic liplock fans are hoping for, this is still significant in their relationship as more than just crime fighting partners.

Now whether they solve Joanna Beckett’s murder or not and if they talk about said kiss is another thing all together. We will have to wait and see tonight, won’t we!

Harvey and Bob Weinstein are ready to work their magic on the small screen.

The brothers, founders of Miramax Films and now their latest venture, The Weinstein Company, are making a full court press for TV shows including two spinoffs of their popular Project Runway show on Lifetime.

Project Runway Masters will focus on seasoned professionals (similar to Top Chef Masters, I would wager.)

Project Runway Accessories is all about the added frou-frou that makes or breaks an outfit. (Will this show be about actually creating the accessory or styling a look with accessories?)

Overall the company is projecting to have 8 shows on air by the end of 2011.

Kate Middleton has had a pretty lousy nickname in the British press for a long while.

The future Princess Catherine was dubbed “Waity Katie” as she appeared to be not working and idly doing nothing, waiting for Prince William to propose marriage. (She has subsequently said she was working with her parents at their business, Party Pieces, photographing products for their website and catalogs.)

Now Butter London is taking that dubious moniker and using it to sell nail polish. “No More Waity Katie” is a bluish gray color with a touch of glitter that goes on sale in March, but if you’re really dying for it, pre-order will be available in February.

The company specializes in all natural cosmetics and has had other nail polish shades named in tribute to The Royal Family. This one will set you back about $22 if you are so inclined.

Deadliest Catch deckhand Crosby Leveen found himself in boat load of trouble when his fishing license came under scrutiny and authorities discovered a discrepancy.

Leveen, a deckhand on the F/V Wizard under Captain Keith Colburn, is a resident of the state of Maine, however on his license he entered Alaska for his home state. Why, well according to authorities, out-of-state fishermen sometimes misrepresent their home base to save some money on the licensing fees.

The deckhand took his lumps in court and pled guilty to commercial fishing with an invalid license. Leveen was ordered to pay $440.00 plus additional fees and court costs for his transgression.

Leveen is developing his own extreme sport show according to the Deadliest Catch crew page.

Things just aren’t going her way…

Actress Jaime Pressly has received more bad news. She is behind in her taxes to the tune of $637,000 and the IRS filed a $267,370 tax lien on December 6th according to public documents. Uncle Sam hit her with lien back in 2008 for $281,699 for income taxes and California wants their $95,080 for state taxes.

The My Name Is Earl star was picked up for suspicion of drunk driving earlier this month in Santa Monica, Californa and is reportedly separated from her entertainment lawyer husband, Simran Singh.

The 33 year-old Emmy winning actress has a 3 year-old son Dezi from a previous relationship with DJ Eric Cubiche. Pressly is currently free on $15,000 bail while she awaits resolution of her arrest.

Aaron Carter is working out his troubles in a treatment facility.

Exactly what those problems are his manager, Johnny Wright gives a vague description of Carter’s rehab for what he calls “emotional and spiritual issues”:

“He has chosen to enter a
 facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs,” says Wright. “
Which in turn will help him on the music journey he’s about to take.”

While Wright isn’t giving up the details on his client, someone is talking and told E!Online that Carter’s rehab is “addiction issues” based and says:

The source reveals that Carter’s choice to go to rehab was his move to “finally get help” and not a court-mandated decision. “He was struggling recently and needed this,” adds a source.

The 23 year-old Carter has been trying to restart his music career but for now, he’s in a private treatment facility in Southern California where his older brother, Nick Carter, has visited while rehearsing the New Kids On The Block/Backstreet Boys tour.

Aaron has been on several TV shows including Celebrity Rehab 2, Dancing with The Stars and House of Carters.
