Anderson Cooper is making his stage debut as a narrator for the musical How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. The CNN anchorman’s part will be pre-recorded for the performances.

Cooper follows newsman Walter Cronkite, who recorded the opening for the 1995 revival that starred Matthew Broderick.

In the revival of the popular production Daniel Radcliffe is J. Pierrepont Finch, the brash window washer determined to make it big and John Laroquette plays J.B. Biggley, the boss of the firm where Finch gets a job in the mail room.

The play is set to open March 27th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson sat behind the judges table of the season 10 premiere of American Idol on FOX last night and gave us a slightly different Idol. Most things haven’t changed, Ryan Seacrest is still there, the contestants were all over the map from really good to God awful and of course, the golden tickets to Hollywood were the goal.

One thing sorely missing was Simon Cowell’s sharp criticism. Cowell could be downright mean, but some of those contestants needed a wakeup call. Is it better to have someone let down sweetly who still thinks they have a shot or to hear Cowell bark “That was absolutely dreadful!”?

Tyler tried to give the bad news with the softest ego blow possible saying “Oh, baby. You’re just not ready.” I missed Simon. I don’t want the rejected to end up in the corner in a fetal position crying their eyes out but a good dose of reality is called for on some of the more deluded candidates.

If you watched, you must have noticed Lopez struggling with telling a contestant no, you’re not going to Hollywood. And I did feel for her – she doesn’t want to deny anyone a shot at their dreams. At one point she said out loud “Why did I sign up for this?”

Someone should tell her to toughen up quick because it’s only going to get worse.

What would a day in celebrity news be without some photos of one of the Kardashian sisters posing for pictures?  Today’s special:  Khloe Kardashian‘s cover shoot for YRB.   Khloe was photographed by Mike Ruiz in a photoshoot whose theme was “a departure from how people normally see her.”  Well, she’s definitely accomplished that, with some outfits here that look like they belong in Lady Gaga‘s closet.  Bondage mask?  Well, I’ll admit I normally don’t see Khloe as the kind of person to wear a bondage mask, but that’s not really any of my business either.

Domain name registrar Go Daddy is known for its Super Bowl ads featuring sexy spokesmodels, including Jillian Michaels and Danica Patrick.   On February 6, they will reveal their newest Go Daddy Girl – or rather, Go Daddy dotCO Girl.    .CO is a fairly new domain name extension that is being billed as the greatest new thing in web addresses.  Whether or not that proves to be true, this sneak peek at their new hottie is definitely proof that Go Daddy is staying true to form.  CEO Bob Parsons said:

“We are going to out-Go Daddy ourselves with this one.  Who is she? I can tell you our new Go Daddy dotCO Girl is a big name – she’s iconic, she’s edgy, she’s off the hook funny and as long as I don’t talk too much, I think most everyone will be absolutely shocked!

We’re not revealing this until Super Bowl Sunday.  We shot the commercial on a closed set in early December. We filmed several different endings, but we haven’t decided whether we’ll reveal our new Go Daddy dotCO Girl in the broadcast version, or online – that’s something we just might decide at the eleventh hour.”

Christina Milian is the February cover girl for Latina magazine. The 29 year-old Cuban-American singer and actress had a rough, scandal-driven last year but she comes clean with the magazine about her marriage collapse to rapper The Dream, what she’s taking away from her hellish experience and her life as a new, single mom:

On her failed marriage: “No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work. But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”

On the cheating scandal: “I didn’t know anything. But looking back, my gut was telling me something was off. But I thought I could fix it.”

On lessons learned: “I learned a lot about myself this year. I learned what I can handle. I learned how much I can take. I learned who I am and what I will accept for myself and my daughter.”

On becoming a mom: “Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before. There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Being a mom is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

On what’s next: “I feel brand new. I’ve been to hell and back, but I survived. I’m stronger for it and now I’m ready for the next phase of my life.”

Matt Dillon got a little more than her bargained for when at the airport on Tuesday, January 18th.

The actor found himself behind a woman at LAX airport who crumbled and fell to the ground as they were waiting in line. Dillon helped her to a nearby chair and waited with her while the paramedics were called to assist her.

The woman told GossipCop that “she’s been sick with the flu, and in retrospect probably shouldn’t have been traveling. She also had no idea Dillon was the one who’d helped her.”

The unidentified passenger also said she did not slam her head and she is fine.

Nicole Richie has her own funky sense of style, which I really pretty much love, but nothing prepared me for how gorgeous she looked this past weekend at the Art of Elysium Gala.   She was the epitome of gorgeous, glamorous Old Hollywood.  I adore the finger waves and Bette Davis vibe.  Well, well played, Nicole!

Jennifer Lopez took the stage at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards as a presenter with Alec Baldwin and before they went on, Lopez gave host Ricky Gervais a warning about any jokes he might think of about her. The feisty singer told Access Hollywood:

“He’s very gutsy, it takes a lot of guts to get up there and make the comments he made and go for that type of comedy,” she said. “I’m sure in his mind it was all in good fun. But in the room, being in the room it was like, eek… Then, when I go backstage to present, I’m backstage with Alec [Baldwin], we’re about to walk out, and Ricky shows up. I say, ‘Listen! I will kill you, you understand, I am from New York, my husband fights, we both fight, we will beat you up after the show… with a couple of bleep bleeps in there.”

Lopez goes on to say that she’s been in the business so long, she’s pretty immune to most stuff people say. She says Gervais was funny most of the time but a couple of the jokes were below the belt. Overall Lopez had a great sense of humor about the night.
