New ‘Hall Pass’ Poster Series Take a Whole New Shape

Here’s the new poster series for the upcoming comedy Hall Pass.

Interesting poster shape, but nothing too exciting here. The concept of the movie just screams predictability to me although I do like the female stars of this one.

‘Rubber’ Trailer is Extremely Bizarre and Awesome!

Here’s the trailer the the upcoming off-beat horror film Rubber starring a car tire!

Ok, I thought this was a joke for the first minute of the trailer! It’s a real movie, and it looks awesome! Maybe awesomely-bad, but it’s so great to see something this random and bizarre actually coming out. Sign me up! What do you think? Would you watch it? It’s April 1st release date seems insanely appropriate!

First Look: ‘The Change-Up’ Starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman (Image)

Here’s the first image from the upcoming comedy The Change-Up starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.

David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) directs, with Jason Bateman playing a family man (married to Leslie Mann) while Ryan Reynolds plays a would-be actor and lifelong bachelor. The two have been friends for a long time, then somehow end up  switching bodies.

Not a completely original idea, but it’s similarities to Freaky Friday seem to end with the body switching concept. This movie is going for an R-rating with plenty of adult humor. It has a lot of potential, these guys are funny!

Pink Overload on ‘From Prada to Nada’ Poster

Here’s the poster for the upcoming comedy From Prada to Nada.

While the concept is a little different, this movie doesn’t seem fresh to me. I’d probably shoot myself if all movies were like this.

First Look: ‘Dream House’ With Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz (Image)

Here’s the first official image released for the upcoming thriller Dream House starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts.

A couple (Craig and Weisz) relocates their family to a quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived. When Will investigates the tragedy, his only lead comes from Ann Paterson (Naomi Watts), a neighbor who was close to the family that died. As Will and Ann piece together the disturbing puzzle, they discover that the story of the last man to leave Will’s dream house will be just as horrifying to the one who came next.

Sounds like it has a lot of potential for being a great movie, I love thrillers. This is a stellar cast in my opinion, I really am looking forward to seeing more about this film. Unfortunately we have to wait until after summer movie season to see this, it’s out on September 30th, 2011.

Javier Bardem is the New ‘Bond 23′ Villain!?

Javier Bardem has been offered a major role in the upcoming Bond 23, which is finally back on track for a 2012 release. The fact that he was offered a starring role can only mean he’ll be the villain!

Javier Bardem has been offered a starring role in the upcoming James Bond film recently set for a November 9, 2012, release. Details about the character are being kept under wraps for now.

He was downright chilling in No Country for Old Men a couple years ago. He’ll be a perfect baddie for Bond, I really hope he takes the role!

Meet Your New ‘Superman: Man of Steel’ Henry Cavill!

The New Man of Steel has been cast! British actor Henry Cavill will play Superman in director Zack Snyder‘s reboot, Superman: Man of Steel.

Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures have found their new Man of Steel…

… Warner Bros clearly has chosen a more macho leading man for Superman than the previous Brandon Routh or even Christopher Reeve. “He’s got an amazing quality. He doesn’t look too much like Reeve and Routh but he’s big and strong and he has a very modern feel to him,” a Warner Bros exec just told us. “We’re really going to try and make Superman as contemporary as possible.” And just like it did with Christian Bale in the Batman reboot, the studio has gone with a British actor. In fact, Cavill also auditioned for the Batman role but lost out to Bale in 2005. He also was a contender for James Bond but was deemed too young and lost out to Daniel Craig.

Great choice in terms of his look, hopefully his acting abilities are equally fitting for the role. The movie is being produced by Christopher Nolan so I’m expecting it to be a huge step up from previous versions of Superman. What do you think? Good choice?
