Official Title: ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ With New Suit! (Image)

Well it’s official, the previously untitled Spider-Man remake will be called The Amazing Spider-Man. Here’s the first official image of the new costume!

The film, which is now in production and is being shot entirely in 3D, will be released on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

I like it! This costume feels more realistic, like a person would could have actually made it themselves, less like it’s from a factory. The incredibly deflated budget and indie filmmaker re-direction will force a lot of creativity and quality. I actually have pretty high hopes for this film, things are looking good.

Another New ‘Scream 4′ Poster Takes a Blade to the Face

Here’s the latest Scream 4 poster.

Cool poster concept, I like the combo of the face and knife. Unfortunately posters don’t make movies good, freshness and good storytelling do. Maybe this movie will take everyone by surprise, but I doubt anyone is expecting gold here.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is Looking for New Roles

Arnold Schwarzenegger is done as governor and he’s ready to get back to acting.

“Exciting news,” he wrote. “My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today.”

I wonder what kinds of roles we’ll see him in now,  he doesn’t strike me as a leading man anymore. I wonder how many young people even care if he’s back on the silver screen. What do you think? What’s in Arnold’s future here in hollywood?

First ‘Arthur’ Poster With Russell Brand

Here’s the first poster for the upcoming comedy remake Arthur starring Russell Brand in the title role.

I’ve never seen the 1981 version of the film but it was well liked in it’s day. I’ve got my doubts about this one being a success, considering most people I know dislike Russell Brand’s intensely colorful personality. Hopefully the script will be funny enough without relying on his antics.

‘Charlie’s Angels’ Minka Kelly’s Mellow Afternoon

Minka Kelly heads to her car after having lunch with a friend at Kings Road Cafe in Los Angeles Valentine’s day.

Kelly recently shared that her father, Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay, would not go to the premiere of her latest film, The Roommate because he did not want to see it with all the industry folks who won’t give honest feedback.

The actress told Chelsea Handler she was nervous, but her dad assured her:

“It was actually great, I was really nervous. I was like, ‘People are going to walk out, I don’t want to see this’, but it was actually great. We actually showed up to the 7pm showing and when we got there it wasn’t really packed and so my dad was like, ‘I’m sure everyone will be going to the 8pm showing, I’m sure it will be packed.’ But it ended up being sold out and even the front few rows, it was so fun and everyone was so into it and really reacted to it and at the end everyone applauded.”

Kelly just booked a part in the pilot for Charlie’s Angels that hopes to make it to the fall schedule for ABC Television. Minka will play one of the new Angels at the Charles Townsend Agency and the series is to be set in Miami instead of L.A.

Alec Baldwin Receives A Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Alec Baldwin was honored with the 2,433 star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, February 14th.

The 30 Rock actor attended the ceremony along with his friend Megan Mullally, who actually helped Baldwin decide to take on a sitcom.

“I didn’t think this was something I wanted to do, to commit to a show, to sign a contract for years on end,” Baldwin said.

“I made films and worked in the theater and there’s a lot of diversity there that’s kind of an advantage. But then I did Will & Grace and had the best time of my life,” he added.

“Working with Megan on that show…I realized it was a lot of fun. It inspired me to do this.”

Baldwin’s star is in front of Eva Longoria’s restaurant, Beso and a couple of blocks away from ex-wife Kim Basinger’s. He acknowledged Basinger’s star and his daughter with her, Ireland Baldwin by saying:

“I’m kind of blown away,” Baldwin concluded. “My daughter has the distinction of both of her parents have this. I think it’s kind of cool for my kid.”

Stephen Baldwin was on hand to congratulate his big brother and take pics on his phone.
