Perhaps taking inspiration from his fiancée, Kat Von D, Jesse James has decided to write a memoir.  He’s signed a deal with Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books to publish his book, American Outlaw.

Jesse should be thankful to Sandra Bullock for divorcing him, because without that juicy development, there’s very little reason his memoir would be marketable.

Gallery Books publishes many highly talented celebrity authors such as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.  Jesse’s book does not have an official release date yet, but is expected later this year.

I Am Number Four co-stars Dianna Agron and Alex Pettyfer have ended their brief but incredibly photogenic romance.

TMZ is reporting that Dianna had it with Alex when she saw images from his very sexy photoshoot with Lydia Hearst and Leven Rambin.   However, unless Dianna is incredibly naive or just way too possessive, this is surely just a rumor.  Alex participated in the shoot over a year ago, long before they started dating.  And is she really a total hypocrite?  Dianna’s GQ shoot with Glee co-stars anyone?   I’m calling this speculation total bunk, and a way to spice up a relatively slow news day.

It was an evening of fashion extremes at the NBA All Stars Game on Saturday night.  Steven Tyler channeled his inner middle-aged divorcée, and Ciara showed up looking like a streetwalker who was just puttering around the house when she realized, “Oh crap!  I’ve got somewhere to be in like 10 minutes!”  and literally threw on the first items of clothing she put her hands on.  Because what dresses up an outfit of cut-off short shorts and a white t-shirt better than hooker boots?  Nothing, I tell you.  Absolutely nothing.

It’s finally happened, folks.  Aerosmith front man and American Idol judge Steven Tyler has always rocked his very own special sense of style, but the ensemble he wore to the NBA All Stars Game on Saturday not only took the cake, it ate it and licked the plate clean.

It was really only a matter of time before Steven fully transformed into a crazy cat lady.   I just never imagined it would happen so soon.  Perhaps it’s all that hanging out with Jennifer Lopez what done it.   Effete though he may be, I think Steven looks quite fly.  And I’ve got to applaud the fact that he matched his shirt to the magenta T-Mobile carpet.  Totally engineered, or happy coincidence?  You decide.

Pamela Anderson continues her animal advocacy in partnership with PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) with an appeal to an Indian medical testing lab to cease testing on monkeys.

She wrote in a letter on behalf of PETA to the All India Institute For Medical Studies (AIIMS):

“It broke my heart to see the suffering that is documented in the enclosed video…[monkeys are] kept in cramped, barren, and rusty cages for years on end… But the animals suffering behind closed doors at AIIMS must endure this nightmare every day.”

The lab denies that the animals are mistreated.

As much as I love to rag on Pammy and her fashion sense, I have to laud her for taking her work with PETA so seriously.  She is incredibly dedicated and I love that she is using her celebrity for a good end.

Many women are pretty certain hottie George Clooney was created by The Good Lord him(her?)self, but an art studio in Cincinnati has decided to make it so.    Studio Vertu has installed a mural portraying George Clooney as Adam from the ‘Creation Of Adam” section of Michaelangelo’s Sistene Chapel painting.

George is currently in the Cincinnati area working on  his new movie, The Ides Of March, and it was rumored that he might film part of it at the city’s Memorial Hall.  Studio Vertu, located just down the street from the venue, created and installed the mural as a way to get Clooney’s attention.  Creator Mark Schmidt said:

“This is our homage to George Clooney… We decided to have a little fun with it, roll out the red carpet in our own way.”

The image of Adam/George very discreetly stops at the waist.  Schmidt said:

“Well, I didn’t want to compliment him, or insult him.”

God’s gift indeed.

What’s better than the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition?  How about all the swimsuit models, in the flesh, in the same place at the same time?  That’s exactly what happened at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models On Location event at Vanity Nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.   There was a little  less skin on display than in the magazine, but the view was no less enjoyable.

Katharine McPhee chose a  short, salmon-colored frock for the Global Action Awards Gala and I’ve got to say, there are so many reasons that I should hate this dress.  The color, the cut, the shoulder strap that looks like it was attacked by a Beadazzler…. need I go on?

Except I don’t.  Granted, the way it drapes looks like it was designed by a maker of tablecloths, but it completely WORKS on Katharine.  This color is fabulous for her.   The fabric is slinky and clings in the right places.  And who knew she had such great legs?    Nope, I’ve got to say – I totally click “like” on this one.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model Irina Shayk heated up the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models On Location event this weekend.   She was accompanied by a bevy of beauties including Izabel Goulart, Julie Henderson, Jessica White and Esti Ginsburg, all of whom also appeared in the publication’s most anticipated annual issue.
