Had you forgotten about Jon Gosselin?  I almost did.   So apparently he’s gotten a job, which is what normal people have to do.   He has a gig installing solar panels for Greene Point Energy in Pennsylvania.  Wasn’t he into computers before he became a reality show hack?  And now construction is the best he can do?  Don’t get me wrong – renewable energy is a fine, fine line of work – but it seems that Jon should be able to do better than that.   Guess you gotta do what you gotta do when you’ve got eight kids to support, and a hot girlfriend like Ellen Ross to impress.

Miley Cyrus was the recipient of a Global Action Youth Leadership Award at the 1st Annual Global Action Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The Global Action Awards were created to honor

innovative, effective and measurable solutions to global challenges and to collaborative corporate citizenry projects and campaigns that set standards and serve as catalysts for action.

Miley received her award for her work with a variety of youth and teen serving organizations.   The award was presented by Hilary Duff, whom she said “inspired her.”  Miley told the crowd:

“I want [kids] to do something they love.  Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that’s the right thing to do or what their parents want or what’s important to people around them but what’s on their heart.”

Yes, well, not doing what your parents want is something that Miley is very familiar with.

Gwen Stefani closed out the Fall 2011 NY Fashion Week with her show for her design label L.A.M.B. and had a little surprise as she walked the runway.

As the show ended and Stefani headed down the catwalk wearing the final look (a one shouldered leopard jumpsuit)  her 4 year-old son Kingston yelled “Mommy!” and ran out to grab her hand and accompany her. So darn cute!

Invitations to the highly-anticipated wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton were sent out this week to 1,900 guests.    The simply worded, white white card (measuring about 10″ x 6″) features gold lettering and gilded edges. It was sent in the name of Queen Elizabeth, William’s grandmother.

The guest list included “kings…charity leaders…close family and university friends, old schoolmates and prime ministers around 
the world.”  Invitees are requested to wear tailcoats, military attire or business suits to the wedding, which will be held at Westminster Abbey  on April 29th at 11:00 am.

Crazy singer Ke$ha has a new gig:  Disney Princess!  She stars in a new Funny Or Die short that imagines the life of a typical Disney Princess turned bad, white trash ghetto girl.  You know, in other words, into Ke$ha.

Princess Ke$ha dismisses her cute animated bluebird attendants for a group of gnarly looking raccoons, skunks and bats who help her get ready for her day.  Then she’s transported to a nasty alley where she meets her Fairy God-Hobo and rides off in her carriage – a shopping cart of junk pushed by a homeless guy.    It’s the perfect exit for a true ghetto girl.   Enjoy.

In between the hair extensions lawsuits and birthday parties, Paris Hilton took a little time out for a cover shoot for Vs Spring/Summer 2011 issue.  She looks like she always does – pretty but vapid – but I really love the styling and especially the lighting throughout this series.  Very moody, very glam, very David Lynch.

Vanessa Hudgens hit Anna Sui’s Fall 2011 show for New York Fashion week and sat in the front row with Fergie for the catwalk presentations but it was afterwards that has people talking.

Hudgens and her friend, Australian MTV host Ruby Rose went to a NYC tattoo parlor and the Sucker Punch actress came out with a neck tattoo.

The butterfly is on the back of her neck and was done by tattoo artist Bang Bang. Rose posted the photos on twitter.
