Kim Kardashian seriously turned on the glam for Sir Elton John‘s 19th Annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party.  She wore a dark blue mermaid dress by J Mendel and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz for her evening out.  I love the dress, but I think Kim’s makeup is too subtle to hold up to so rich a color.

Long-time sweethearts Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein) hit up the Vanity Fair Oscars Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. These two have been together since 1997!  (Thank you, Wikipedia!) Do you think they’ll ever get married?

Pop princess Ke$ha played to a sold-out house at the House of Blues in Chicago, Illinois last week.  She was getting in a few last domestic shows before taking her tour to Australia.    Not to put too fine a point on it, but I hate her outfit.  Is the bodice supposed to look like huge, unattractive cleavage?  Cause that’s what it looks like.   On a positive note, I wasn’t aware that she actually played any instruments, but here she is with a guitar.  Go Ke$ha!  Good luck on the Down Under leg of your tour.

Sandra Bullock stepped out to the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The 46 year-old actress wowed the crowd in a fire engine red Vera Wang strapless number and Jimmy Choo shoes for the 2011 Oscars.

As last year’s Best Actress winner for her role in The Blind Side, it is tradition that the winner presents the Best Actor trophy the following year. Bullock handed the statue to Colin Firth for his role in The King’s Speech.

Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz arrived at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

Cruz chose a L’Wren Scott dress with sequined accents and looked superb at the 2011 Oscars. The actress, who just gave birth to the couple’s son just is incredible looking!

Bardem was nominated for Best Actor for his role in Biutiful but lost to Colin Firth from The King’s Speech.

Radiant Natalie Portman took the red carpet in stride at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The Black Swan actress wore a grape popsicle colored (that’s what it reminded me of!) custom Rodarte gown with matching colored crystals at the neckline. Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the duo behind the design label, were also responsible for the ballerina costuming of Portman’s movie.

Natalie is on a roll with her performance in the Darren Aronofsky directed psychological thriller. The 29 year-old took home the Best Actress prize this evening.

Halle Berry looks beautiful as she arrives at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The actress is wearing a soft beige strapless gown with clear crystals and lots of tulle ruffles by Marchesa for the 2011 Oscars. Just stunning!

Berry was at the ceremony to present a tribute to Lena Horne.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban attended the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The actress chose a white dress with silver embroidery from Christian Dior Spring Couture for the 2011 Oscars. The peplum detail at the waist and her coral colored peep toe shoes give the actress one of the more interesting looks of the evening.

Kidman was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Rabbit Hole, but lost out to Natalie Portman in Black Swan.

The actress chose a softly colored lilac embroidered pearl gown from Givenchy Spring Couture with jewelry by Van Cleef & Arpels for the 2011 Oscars. The back contains accents of yellow pearls that wrap to the front of the neckline. The dress is high fashion art and she looks stunning.

Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton attended the 83rd Annual Academy Awards at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27th.

The always fabulous Helena chose a black velvet bustier with shoulder cut out details and a bustle on the back of her gown for the 2011 Oscars. Love it!

Carter was nominated for Best Supporting Actress but lost to Melissa Leo of The Fighter.

Burton’s film, Alice In Wonderland was up for three awards.
