Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina hit the red carpet of the 2011 Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons honoring David Geffen at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Saturday (February 12th) night.

Houston wore a sparkling black sheath dress while her daughter opted for a matte black mini with 3/4 length sleeves and long black leather gloves. The two were all smiles and looked absolutely adorable together.

Whitney performed a duet with Dionne Warwick inside the event hosted by music mogul, Clive Davis.

Katy Perry was simply stunning Saturday night at the 2011 Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons honoring David Geffen at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Perry wore a lovely blush colored strapless mermaid Nicholas Jebran couture design adorned with silver sequins and Jimmy Choo shoes for the Clive Davis hosted party. She kept her hair straight and sleek and looked gorgeous. I love it when she mixes it up and leaves the cartoon-y clothes behind for a more elegant look.

Katy is set to perform at the 2011 Grammy Awards tonight, Sunday, February 13th on CBS.

The Glee superduo of Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison took the stage Friday night to pay tribute to Barbra Streisand as the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Chenowith and Morrison belted out the Streisand classic “One Less Bell To Answer” to a crowd full of musical talents.

Musicians Elvis Costello and Diana Krall (Krall played the piano during the gala on the song “Down with Love”) are also pictured under.

Barbra Streisand and her husband, James Brolin attended the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Streisand was honored by the Recording Academy as the person of 2011 who has made significant artistic and philanthropic contributions.

Streisand hit the stage after other performers sang many of her notable songs but Barbra schooled everyone. She started off with “Happy Days Are Here Again” and kept the medley going with “The Way We Were”, “Evergreen” and “I Finally Found Someone.”

Also at the gala toasting Streisand was Jamie Lee Curtis, Fran Drescher and Jewel.

As if Jessica Simpson doesn’t already have enough products with her name slapped on them, she’s now launched a line of prom dresses.    Why did she do this?  Well, to make money, of course.  But she says it was to help girls, really it was:

“Inspired by the fabulous designer gowns I’ve worn to red carpet events, my affordable collection is designed to fit and flatter a variety of body types and help girls achieve their own red carpet style for Prom.”

Right.  But at least they’re not as slutty as some of the other prom dresses I’ve seen this season.  Jessica’s dresses will be sold at David’s Bridal and will be priced in the $139-$229 range.   Hey, at least the Kardashians don’t have a line of prom wear… yet….

Mila Kunis graces the cover of W Magazine for March 2011 in a pink bra and feather-adorned sheer cover-up.

The Black Swan actress shares how hard she trained for the film and why she is so over dancing all together:

“I had never danced in my life. I trained for four months, seven days a week, five hours a day. I had one day off on my birthday. I lost 20 pounds. I tore a ligament. I dislocated my shoulder. I have two scars on my back. And it was worth every minute. But I will never dance again. I’m a strong believer in mind over matter, but I didn’t fully understand what that meant until this production. I was like, Well—I wear heels; I can do this. I was wrong: Christian Louboutins are uncomfortable, but I screamed the first time I put on a pointe shoe.”

The 27 year-old talks about her early acting days and one of early roles on Baywatch:

“From nine to 14, I did close to 15 commercials, and I guest starred on just about every television show. I was on Baywatch twice. The second time, I played a blind girl who’s lost in the forest next to the beach and needs to be saved. It was absurd: There’s a fire, I get saved, and then I go boogie-boarding. I remember thinking, Well, if I’m blind, how am I boogie-boarding? No one ever gave me an answer.”

Lea Michele hit the stage to honor Barbra Streisand at the 2011 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday night.

Michele belted out Streisand’s classic My Man while wearing her beautiful long sleeve Amanda Wakeley gown.

Her Glee costar, Darren Criss brought the show’s Dalton Academy Warblers to sing an a cappella version of What Kind of Fool.

Ciara brought out her seriously sexy side at The Black Eyed Peas & Friends 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert held at the Music Box Theater in Hollywood, California.

The singer wore a body hugging chocolate brown jersey dress with lots of skin showing cutouts by Emilio Pucci. Ciara stopped everyone dead in their tracks with her toned body and hot hot hot dress.

The benefit brought out lots of the Peas pals to celebrate Grammy weekend and to benefit a good cause – the Peapod Foundation’s scholarship and children’s charity organization.

Along with Fergie and the Peas, actor David Arquette made his first public appearance, post rehab.

Joe Jonas, JoJo and Kathy Griffin were also on hand for the night.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi grabbed lunch in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon and then headed out for a sunny afternoon walk with their niece in tow.

De Rossi carried the cute little blond toddler while they strolled the streets and eventually stopped off for some magazines.

The Clint Eastwood directed biopic J. Edgar is currently filming in Los Angeles and the star of the film, Leonardo DiCaprio, was photographed on the set of the upcoming movie.

DiCaprio is costarring with Armie Hammer, Naomi Watts, Judi Dench and Ed Westwick as Eastwood delves into the FBI director’s scandalous career and life.
