Miley Cyrus is the March cover girl for Marie Claire magazine.

The LOL actress is setting the record straight about how she hopes fans react to her troubles and her successes:

“What I never wanted was for my fans to ever feel like I betrayed them … to feel like I said I was something then turned around and was something that I’m not. But I’ve never, ever claimed to be perfect. I mean, since I’ve started the show, I’ve always said, ‘I’m gonna make mistakes.’ I know this. And I think that that is one of the reasons why people related to me. Why kids related to me.”

Cyrus also went on to say she understood the impact of her being caught on video smoking salvia from a bong:

When reminded that there are plenty of teenagers out there puffing on more serious fumes, she responded, “But they’re not Miley Cyrus… They’re not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has filed for divorce from her husband Pete Wentz citing irreconcilable differences.

Simpson-Wentz is requesting that the court restore her name to Ashlee Nicole Simpson and that she will share joint custody of their son, Bronx Mowgli, with the former Fall Out Boy bassist but she will retain primary physical custody.

“After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the couple said through a spokesperson. “We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our No. 1 priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives.”

The 26 year old singer has hired attorney Laura Wasser for her skills in divorce proceedings and custody cases.

Nicole Kidman and her husband, musician Keith Urban were in New York City for the blue carpet premiere of her latest movie Just Go With It at the Ziegfeld Theater Tuesday (February 8th) night.

Kidman wore a L’Wren Scott leather jacket and skirt with an blush/apricot blouse that ties at the neck and black strappy heels.

The duo flew in to NYC from L.A. where Kidman attended the annual Oscars nominee luncheon (see photos here.)

Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston walked the blue carpet at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City for the premiere of their film Just Go With It.

Aniston, who rocked the red carpet in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress with sheer skirt and thigh high slit, spent some time on film in a bikini next to costar and Sport Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker. Even with the envious body of Decker next to her, Aniston was confident with her shape. She said:

“I just was [feeling] pretty confident and I keep in good shape and you know, I felt pretty all right with everything.”

Sandler said he admired her restraint and her body:

“It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. Jennifer works hard, she eats right, you know, she does,” Sandler said.

“She never snacks on the stuff I snack on.”

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never rolled out the purple carpet for the premiere last night (Tuesday, February 8th) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles and Selena Gomez attended the star studded event.

Gomez was gorgeous in a beautiful deep amethyst, gathered Reem Acra dress and silver heels that showed off her legs. She kept her hair long with some curl and her make-up was subdued. Flawless!

Justin Bieber took the red purple carpet in stride as he premiered his film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never at the Nokia Theatre Live L. A. on Tuesday night, February 8th.

The Biebs, who wore a dark purple/eggplant colored D&G jacket with black shirt and bow tie, tweeted:

when Will Smith looks at you and says “I know movies and that’s a hit movie” u just feel good. What a night. No words other than #thankyou

Justin’s movie opens in 3D and 2D on Friday February 11th.

Amy Adams attended the Annual Academy Awards nominees luncheon on Monday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.  What is with the trend in white dresses that look like nurse uniforms?  This one is a lot cuter than the big fail Kirsten Dunst wore out for New Year’s Eve – it is a Valentino after all – but I’m pretty sure I hate this trend.

Lindsay Lohan’s legal troubles continue.

The actress is surrendering herself to authorities Wednesday afternoon and will be charged with one count of felony grand theft.

Charges stem from the owners of a jewelry store in Venice, California that Lohan frequented where she allegedly took a $2500 necklace without paying for it in January. The owners turned over surveillance footage of Lohan in the store and the actress was photographed wearing the item in the following days.

Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley says she “vehemently denies” the allegations and her friends say she believed the jewelry was on loan to her. If convicted on these charges, Lohan could face up to 3 years in state prison.

Lohan who is still on probation from her drunk driving conviction in 2007, made her scheduled court appearance today – see more photos under.
