Holy guacamole! Grey’s Anatomy‘s Sara Ramirez (Callie Torres) is Latina‘s super sexy cover girl for March 2011. Sara shows off her awesome curves in a black bra and underwear, and is nearly busting out of the grey (get it? grey???) sweater that elegantly tops off the ensemble.
Dr. Torres says she likes going against the grain:

Did anyone really know who Luc Carl was before he started dating Lady Gaga? Maybe patrons of St. Jerome bar in New York, where Luc is the manager, or perhaps readers of his blog, The Drunk Diet. Speaking of which. The man who purports to be on a “hilarious conquest to become the sexiest man on earth” has signed with St. Martin’s Press to write a book based on said blog. Luc will share his secrets on how to get fit while maintaining a “whiskey and 5 a.m. cheeseburgers lifestyle.” He says it will be the “greatest ****ing diet book of all time,” and who knows – maybe he’s right. Or maybe this will turn into another S*** My Dad Says. Either way, it’s bound to be more readable than the so-called books the cast of Jersey Shore keeps pumping out.

Here’s the first trailer and new poster from the upcoming comic book movie Captain America: The First Avenger which premiered during Superbowl XLV!
Well, it looks action packed, but I have my doubts on this one. I don’t think of Chris Evans as a top notch actor, hopefully this role brought out the best in him. I’m looking forward to seeing this, but it doesn’t excite me much.

James Franco is reportedly up for the role of Oz in the upcoming Sam Raimi film Oz, the Great and Powerful since Johnny Depp passed on the role.
The Oscar-nominated host of the Academy Awards is in early talks to star in Oz, the Great and Powerful, Disney’s prequel-ish take on The Wizard of Oz tale being directed by Sam Raimi.
The Oz role has been a hot one since Robert Downey Jr. fell out two and a half weeks ago. Johnny Depp was then in discussions for the role but after several meetings ultimately passed last night.
James Franco is one of those actors that I just didn’t see getting this big a few years ago, but he’s proven himself to be quite the contender. His well deserved Oscar nomination has led to so much more opportunity for him! He’d definitely work for this role, he could easily pull off the eccentricity of this character with that goofy smile of his.

Official word has come, The Hobbit is finally set to start shooting on March 21st!
Many wondered whether Peter Jackson’s recent health troubles would cost the films their planned December 2012/2013 release dates, but fear not. His surgery may have caused “a slight delay” (as it was officially referred) in the start of filming, but he’s out of the hospital and recovering at home. The new start date is March 21.
The press release reads:
This date has been chosen following practical considerations of the filming schedule requirements, actor availability and the NZ seasons. Shooting will take place at Stone Street Studios in Miramar and on location around New Zealand.
Peter Jackson didn’t have much to say in the announcement, but it was nice to hear from him nonetheless.
“Despite some delays we are fully back on track and very excited to get started.”
I’m glad it’s finally happening, after so many delays on top of delays! Lord of the Rings fans across the globe are probably as happy as I am at the news. 2012 and 2013 will see the releases of parts one and two of the hugely anticipated prequel. Hopefully it will all be worth the long wait.

Gossip Girl is new tonight with episode 4.14 “Panic Roommate.” Last week’s episode saw Dan sabotage Blair at W (after he assumed she would do the same to him,) only to confess later when he realized how badly Blair wanted the internship and to repair their friendship. But things aren’t going smoothly for Miss Waldorf. It seems Blair is in need of help. Here is the official synopsis:
FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE PERFORMS / ANDREW MCCARTHY DIRECTS — Blair (Leighton Meester) enlists Nate’s (Chace Crawford) help to win over her high-strung boss, Epperly (guest star Caitlin Fitzgerald), at W Magazine. Damien (guest star Kevin Zegers) stirs up more drama on the Upper East Side. Chuck (Ed Westwick) finds himself torn between business and pleasure. Florence and the Machine performs an acoustic version of “Cosmic Love.” Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Andrew McCarthy directed the episode written by Jake Coburn.

The sweetest little Darth Vader ever has a name.
Max Page, the 6 year-old who donned the Star Wars costume for the Volkswagon ad that aired during Super Bowl XLV is a huge hit with viewers everywhere.
Page is a child actor who has a recurring role on the daytime soap opera The Young and The Restless but this short little commercial is causing the buzz. He is so charming that even VW execs are praising him:
“He took directions so well.” said Tim Ellis, Volkswagen of America’s vice president for marketing. He knew the commercial was going to be a hit, both on the Super Bowl and via YouTube. “As we were filming it, I could see it was going to be iconic.”
The 6 year-old, who has never seen Star Wars, is quite a trooper; he was born with a congenital heart defect and has a pacemaker. His mother, Jennifer Page, says her son is “a real inspiration.”
