More New People Tree Ads With Emma Watson Revealed!

Emma Watson‘s Spring/Summer 2011 collection for People Tree is about to be formally launched (Monday, February 28th).  Now they’ve released a new set of ads featuring Emma and her really cute designs.   I already totally loved the minidress she wore in the collection’s first ad, but I’m pretty sure I’m completely sold now.  It’s really too bad that this is Emma’s final collection for the fair-trade clothing maker.

‘Bachelorette’ Ali Fedotowsky’s Wedding Plans Are Shaping Up

Little by little, Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky is letting details about her upcoming nuptials slip out for our voyeuristic pleasure.  Because who doesn’t love a good wedding, especially a celebrity wedding?

Ali and her fiance Roberto Martinez are evidently opting for a fall wedding, and sources say that California will be the likely location.  But what about the dress? RadarOnline‘s source says:

“She’s been looking at Cinderella-type dresses.  She loves chiffon with adornment on top and elaborate on the bottom.  It may be Monique Lhuillier and she’s been looking at Vera Wang.”

Sounds… poufy.  But Ali is so cute, she’ll certainly look great in whatever dress she chooses.  Let’s hope this marriage lasts longer than other reality show relationships have.

Kristen Wiig Brings the Laughs in New Red Band ‘Paul’ Trailer

Here’s the Red Band trailer for the upcoming comedy Paul.

The one thing I’m really loving about this is Kristen Wiig, she makes me laugh more than any of the other comics in this movie. I hope it’s more than a bunch of bad alien jokes, I’ll definitely be seeing this eventually.

Check out the trailer below. (Read the article)

Martin Scorsese’s ‘Hugo Cabret’ Coming This Thanksgiving

Martin Scorsese‘s new film Hugo Cabret finally has a solid release date of November 23rd, 2011.

Paramount Pictures has stepped up to become the distributor of the Martin Scorsese-directed 3D film Hugo Cabret, with the studio locking a November 23 release date, the day before Thanksgiving…The picture stars Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley, Jude Law and Emily Mortimer.

What’s it about? Here’s the official description:

Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.

Not a whole lot of details, I’d never heard of the book until I heard about the movie. Scorsese is one of the most well respected filmmakers alive today so this movie is bound to have some qualities. Pretty crazy that he’s jumped on the 3D bandwagon for this one. I wan’t thrilled with Scorcese’s last film (Shutter Island) but Hugo Cabret should be a good.

New ‘Hanna’ Poster is Pretty Deadly

Here’s the newest poster for the upcoming action thriller Hanna.

A 16-year-old who was raised by her father to be the perfect assassin is dispatched on a mission across Europe, tracked by a ruthless intelligence agent and her operatives.

This movie looks very interesting, certainly not your average story. I love the concept, I’m hoping it lives up to it’s potential!

Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi Join Mark Wahlberg in ‘Ted’

Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi are set to join Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis in Ted, the new movie from the creator of the hit show Family Guy, Seth McFarlane.

The Family Guy creator’s funny looking upcoming comedy Ted just got funnier looking. Joining such names as Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and Giovanni Ribisi will be the star of the much lauded and loved NBC sitcom Community, Joel McHale.

Seth McFarlane is responsible for Family Guy and American Dad, two of the funniest shows ever on TV so this movie could turn out to be great. Not to mention this growing cast of funny people. I have high hopes for this movie, did I mention it’s about a teddy bear that comes to life? This one’s out in 2012, but I’ll keep you posted as more info comes in.

Kevin Costner is Superman’s Dad in ‘Superman: Man of Steel’

Kevin Costner is likely to play Superman‘s adoptive father in the upcoming remake Superman: Man of Steel.

Citing “well-placed sources,” Latino Review reported that Costner will play Jonathan “Pa” Kent, Kal-El’s adoptive Earth father. With the film shrouded in secrecy, though, it might take Brainiac himself to figure out exactly for what role Costner is being courted. But, given Costner’s screen history in films like “Field of Dreams,” the role of “Pa,” played by Glenn Ford in Richard Donner’s 1978 “Superman,” seems likely.

So it’s not a done deal yet but he fits the part. In a weird way I’m hoping he doesn’t take it, I feel like having very few big names in this movie would be beneficial to it’s success. This movie is in danger of being all about style over substance, much like all of Zack Snyder‘s movies so far.

Creepy ‘Skin I Live In’ Posters From Almodovar

Here are the posters for Pedro Almodovar‘s new film Skin I Live In starring Antonio Banderas.

The film is based on a novel called Tarantula that is nominally about a plastic surgeon who takes revenge upon the man who raped his daughter. But the novel sounds a lot more uncomfortable than a simple revenge film, because the surgeon also happens to keep his wife confined in their house, in which he forces her monthly into degrading sexual encounters with other men.

Almodovar is a brilliant filmmaker so I’m interested in seeing this based on his involvement. As far as the posters go they remind me of the Saw posters, not exactly appealing. I’m anxious to see a trailer for this one, It’s an unusually dark and creepy story for Almodovar.
