Mila Kunis hit up some Pre-Oscar celebrations yesterday, including The Hollywood Reporter Nominees’ Night at The Getty House in Los Angeles, California.

The event was held in honor of the 10 Oscar nominees for Best Picture, one of which was Black Swan that Kunis costarred in with Natalie Portman.

Mila chose to rock the red carpet in a red strapless dress with a blazer for the night.

The 27 year-old actress will present at the Academy Awards, hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco on Sunday, February 27th.

There is a remake of The Bodyguard (1992) coming to theaters.

Warner Brothers has decided to remake their 1992 film The Bodyguard. They’ve hired screenwriters Jeremiah Friedman and Nick Palmer, who wrote the 2010 Black List film Family Getaway, to update the original story of a Secret Service agent turned bodyguard who falls in love with his client, a popular singer. In the new film, the bodyguard will be an Iraqi war vet who has to deal with the ability of social media and celebrity journalism to make the life of a celebrity more public than ever. The female role, which was played by Whitney Houston in the original, is being eyed as a starring vehicle for a “young female singer with global appeal.”

Is Hollywood out of ideas? Are we doomed to watch remake after remake for the rest of our lives? Are there any original ideas left? Well of course there are, but big studios like Warner Brothers want to bank on franchises that have been proven as successful. It’s unfortunate for us since we are watching the same stories rehashed and repackaged all the time. I don’t have any interest in this one based on the announcement, maybe once it gets a cast I’ll start to care.

Here’s the teaser trailer for the upcoming, highly anticipated sequel, The Hangover Part II.

The first movie was hysterical, I’m expecting a lot more of the same with this one. The Tyson face tattoo on Ed Helms is pretty much the one funny thing this teaser trailer has going for it. Other than just announcing the set up, this trailer isn’t all that much to be excited about. Look for it in theaters on May 26th, 2011.

Here’s the newest trailer for the upcoming action movie Sucker Punch from director Zack Snyder.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; this movie is going to be all about visuals. Zack Snyder hasn’t proven to me that he’s any better at pulling out compelling performances from actors than Michael Bay. Some directors seem to be hired based on their ability to wow an audience with graphics, I’m hoping Snyder‘s remake, Superman: Man of Steel has a lot more substance.

Kerry Washington looked positively beautiful as she attended the 4th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon in Beverly Hills.

The event, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel featured celebs like Angela Bassett, Garcelle Beauvais, Gabrielle Union, Brandy Norwood and Serena Williams at the annual pre-Oscar party.

Washington was a fashion standout wearing a lovely ivory patterned dress with sweetheart and draped neckline and wide belt with gold detailing. Her hair and accessory choice of just earrings were perfect.

Here’s the new Red Band trailer for the upcoming comedy Bad Teacher starring Cameron Diaz.

This trailer took my by surprise! I didn’t even know about this movie, and I already want to see it. Very funny! Cameron Diaz is perfect for this, it’s strange hilarious seeing her talk this dirty. Lynn Davies who plays Phyllis on The Office seems like the perfect addition to this movie, she’s always great.

Jennifer Hudson brought her absolutely adorable son, David to the 4th Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday, February 24th.

Hudson, who showed off her enviable body in a bright lilac colored bandage dress by Herve Leger, was upstaged by that cutie pie son of hers in his smart vest and dress pants.

The fashion house of Christian Dior just received the most unwelcome kind of attention.

Head designer John Galliano was arrested in the Marais district of Paris after drinking at a bar and verbally accosting a couple enjoying their evening on the cafe’s terrace. The British Galliano allegedly hurled anti-semetic insults at the duo before getting into a physical altercation.

The 50 year-old designers rant took place in front of dozens of witnesses:

“Witnesses said he swore heavily, using anti-Jewish insults, before attacking a couple. Both have provided witness statements, as have a number of other people at the bar, including staff.”

Galliano was arrested, given a blood alcohol test and was found to be over the legal limit. Police escorted him home without filing charges.

The Marais district is an important neighborhood in Paris with historical significance to the Jewish community. It is where the Nazi’s focused efforts to round up and deport French Jews during WWII.

Galliano is due to show Dior’s Fall/Winter 2011 Couture collection on March 4th in Paris.

Alex Pettyfer walked the red carpet for the premiere of Beastly on Thursday, February 24th.

The event, held at The Grove’s Pacific Theater in Los Angeles wasn’t even the big news for the night: Pettyfer had a house fire just before the movie’s debut!

“There was an electrical fire in the garage while no one was home. The house was not burned. No one was hurt,” a rep for Pettyfer’s ex-girlfriend Dianna Agron confirmed to ET Online.

It’s odd that his ex girlfriend’s rep is the one confirming the details of the fire instead of Pettyfer’s own reps. Perhaps the two actors are still together?
