Two and A Half Men will not go back into production this coming week after lead actor Charlie Sheen has publicly blasted producer Chuck Lorre, taken exception to AA and the women he spends time with in conversations with media outlets (see the story here.)

The show is the most watched comedy on network TV however Sheen’s off camera vitriol has escalated since he attempted rehab at the end of January.

The studio and network issued a joint statement saying:

“Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season.”

Although eight episodes remained for the year, CBS and Warner Bros. had dropped the number of shows left to film down to four so Sheen could continue with his rehab.

Unfortunately the actor seems to have focused his hate on Lorre saying he “violently hated” Lorre, calling him “a stupid, stupid little man and a … punk that I’d never want to be like,” and the studio has decided to end the season instead of risking further problems.

More bad news for Lindsay Lohan as new details about the surveillance tape from Kamofie & Company jewelers surface.

Lohan and a male are seen on the tape and the unidentified guy pal may have been helping her by keeping the store clerk occupied:

“Lindsay had removed a necklace of hers that she was wearing when she tried on the necklace in question,” the source close to the case told RadarOnline.com, exclusively.

“As Lindsay was putting her necklace back on, it’s apparent the store clerk was distracted by the male companion that was with Lindsay.”

The two are then shown leaving together with the necklace around on Lohan’s neck according to the website.

“The District Attorney believes that Lindsay’s friend distracted the clerk on purpose and that could bolster the case if it goes to trial against Lindsay,” said the source.

“This simply wasn’t a case of miscommunication of a necklace being loaned and not returned, as Lindsay has claimed.”

The 24 year-old actress is facing a grand theft charge for allegedly absconding with a “one-of-a-kind” necklace from the Venice Beach store in January and could see jail time if convicted or if she accepts a plea arrangement.

Lindsay was warned on Wednesday by Judge Keith Schwartz that in his court, she will serve time in jail if she accepts a plea or if she’s found in violation of her parole.

Things are not looking up for the one-time actress.

Charlie Sheen took off yesterday to an island somewhere in the Bahamas, bringing his ex-wife Brooke Mueller, porn star Bree Olsen and marijuana model Natalie Kenly with him.

Apparently Sheen forgot to pack common sense in his private jet, because the actor unleashed a rant that defies most people’s logic. The actor takes aim at his Two and A Half Men producer Chuck Lorre, is able to cure himself with brain power and slams Alcoholics Anonymous and the women he chooses to party with.

The TV star called in to TMZ twice today and to the Alex Jones Radio Show to lay down verbal bombs that are going to detonate through Hollywood for a while.

About Lorre: “I didn’t care about that vanity card, I went straight home and dispelled that, that was actually one of the few compliments that clown has paid me in frickin’ almost a decade.”

He goes on to say “I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that this un-evolved mind cannot process. I’ve spent, I think, close to the last decade, I don’t know, effortlessly and magically converting your tin can into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.”

About the women he hangs with (I think?):  “If I bring up these turds, these… losers, there’s no reason to then bring them back into the fold because I have real fame, they have nothing. They have zero. They have that night.”

“And I will forget about them as the last image of them exits my beautiful home. And they will get out there and they will sell me and they will lose. Bring me a frickin’ challenge. It just ain’t there.”

Kate Middleton and Prince William got a head start on official Royal duties as a couple by visiting the RNLI lifeboat station in Trearddur Bay, North Wales.

Middleton was chic and pulled together brilliantly as she and Prince William braved the windy day by the sea to christen a new lifeboat at the search and rescue station.

Prince William gave a speech that addressed the earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand and praised the rescue workers who risk their lives to save another.

After, Kate poured the champagne over the new vessel instead of breaking the bottle on the nose because it’s inflatable.

He has been asked in the past if he would run for political office and George Clooney has always said no. Now, the actor is elaborating on his stance for Newsweek:

“I didn’t live my life in the right way for politics, you know. I f–ked too many chicks and did too many drugs, and that’s the truth.”

Although he isn’t going to run for office, Clooney understands his movie star wattage brings attention to problems that are often overlooked and he’s serious about his involvement; it’s not just for show. He says:

“I walk an uneasy line trying to bring focus to what they do, because there’s a lot of self-congratulatory crap that makes you sick to your stomach.”

Clooney has loads of detractors and tons of admirers but public office doesn’t sound like his game plan. Influencing public policy is another matter.

Katherine was inadvertently sprung from her prison when Elijah was killed so now she’s decided she’s moving in with the Salvatore brothers and no one is happy about it.

Tonight is the last new episode before The Vampire Diaries takes a month long hiatus for March. Episode 2.16 “The House Guest” promises lots of twists and turns and emotional drama to keep everyone hooked until the April return.

Alyssa Milano and her husband, Dave Bulgiari announced they were expecting their first child this week and Milano brought the baby bump out last night for the debut.

The actress hit the red carpet premiere of her latest film Hall Pass held at the Cinerama Theater in Los Angeles, California on Wednesday night, February 23rd.

The movie costars Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Christina Applegate, Jenna Fischer and is from the minds of the Farrelly Brothers. It opens Friday, February 25th in theaters.

Kate Bosworth grabs the cover of Nylon’s March 2011 issue with braids in her hair and wearing a colorful knit sweater from Giles and pale pink shorts from Isable Marant.

The 28 year-old actress shares with the magazine how she suffers from anxiety and panic attacks:

“I’m not someone who is a stranger to panic attacks or anxiety.”

Bosworth says her real-life experience with anxiety helped her with her role as a self-mutilating college student in “Another Happy Day” by writer/director Sam Levinson. “I’ve been more artistically fulfilled this past year than I have ever been,” she says. “Sam wasn’t fearful of the dark places, and I think I have a healthy amount of dark places to go to.”

“I’ve had my fair share of on-the-verge moments in my life, so it was really kind of tapping into my own life experience, and that gets a little weird,” says Bosworth, who was shot by Marvin Scott Jarrett for the “Nylon” cover. “It’s what we live for as actors, to soar to that moment when you sort of leave everything behind. But it’s also the scariest because you’re getting lost in yourself and touching a nerve that, on a day-to-day basis, you armor.”

Bosworth’s issue is on sale Tuesday.

Claire Danes & Hugh Dancy kept each other close at the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards on Tuesday, February 22nd, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Danes chose a sleeveless Lanvin Spring 2011 dress with embellished detailing and high neckline. She wore nude peep toe Jimmy Choo shoes and kept her hair slicked back.

The 31 year-old is taking a lot of fashion heat for her hairstyle choice and while I don’t think it’s her most flattering look, I like it when people experiment.

The actress, who has received tons of accolades for her portrayal of the autistic animal doctor in Temple Grandin, is currently working on the pilot for Showtime’s Homeland.
