Jared Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars hit up The Grove shopping center in L.A. for an interview with Extra on Monday February 21st.

Later that evening, the band had a special screening for fans of the controversial 13 minute video for their song “Hurricane” at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood. The video has been repeatedly rejected by networks (including a self-edited version) due to sexual content and violence.

After the screening, Leto and fellow bandmates Shannon Leto and Tomo Milicevic took the stage for a Q & A session that lasted 2 hours.

“A lot of people have questions about this weird little movie we made,” [Jared]  Leto explained after being introduced as Bartholomew Cubbins, the Seuss-inspired pseudonym under which he directed the short.

When the event was over, Jared told fans how appreciative he was of those who joined the band at the theater and said on twitter:

“Thanks so much to everyone who came to the Hurricane LA screening tonight. It was another unforgettable night!!!”

David Schwimmer’s Harrowing ‘Trust’ Trailer

Here’s the trailer for the upcoming film Trust from director David Schwimmer.

This movie looks very disturbing, but may be just the right way to help open people’s eyes about internet predators and how much we need to be vigilant about our children’s safety. Clive Owen is one of my favorites, but this movie doesn’t seem like a very light affair. Hopefully there are some funny moments to make it watchable.
