Taylor Swift to Voice Dream Girl in Dr. Seuss’s ‘The Lorax’
Taylor Swift has been set to voice the dream girl of the main character in the upcoming animated feature The Lorax, based on the Dr. Seuss children’s book. Other’s added to the cast include Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, Zac Efron, Rob Riggle and Betty White.
The pic is based on the Dr. Seuss tale that follows the tale of a forest creature who shared the enduring power of hope.
DeVito is the Lorax, and Helms will provide the voice of the Once’ler. Efron will voice Ted, the young boy who searched for the Lorax, and Swift will play Audrey, the girl of his dreams. Riggle plays King O’Hare, and White plays Ted’s Grammy Norma.
Another Dr. Seuss movie coming to the big screen doesn’t necessarily excite me, but I did like Horton Hears a Who! Hopefully they can re-capture that kind of quality with this one, although I must admit, I don’t remember what this book was about. Is it worth being made into a feature length movie?
