Wearing a bright pink tank top, actress Reese Witherspoon headed to Brentwood Country Mart to grab some lunch on Thursday afternoon.

The actress will be in New York City on April 17th for the premiere of her film Water For Elephants, the date of which was just confirmed on the movie’s official Facebook page. Witherspoon and her costar Robert Pattinson, are both expected to attend.

The 34 year-old actress said RPattz was a dream to work with: “He’s so amazing and wonderful and sweet and just the nicest guy too, so you can just add that to the soup,” she said.

WFE is in theaters on April 22nd.

Katy Perry is promoting her perfume Purr at Parfumerie Douglas in Cologne, Germany.

The “Fireworks” singer was impeccably dressed in a skintight, lilac-colored bandage dress from Herve Leger as she attended a meet and greet with fans and signed bottles of her fragrance.

The 26 year-old will be performing tonight in Cologne and working her way through Europe for another few weeks.

Elijah Wood stars in Wilfred, an off-beat comedy that will premiere on FX in June.

Wilfred is a remake of the Australian show of the same name, centered around Ryan, (Wood) an isolated and unhappy guy who falls for his neighbor, Jenna (Fiona Gubelmann) but has to contend with her dog.

The dog appears to the world as just that, a lovable furry friend, but to Ryan it becomes his alter ego – he sees a man (Jason Gann) in a dog suit – urging and pushing him to confront problems, bust out of his depression and be more assertive.

Gann was the star and co-creator of the Aussie version and continues his role as the ‘dog’ in the U.S. series.

Additionally, actor Chris Klein has just been signed for a multi-episode arc, according to TVLine.

I am really looking forward to this just on the premise alone and then this teaser trailer hit. Wood and Gann have great chemistry and if the scripts stay on point – this will be awesome.

Matthew McConaughey and his partner, Camila Alves attended the screening of his film The Lincoln Lawyer held at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 10th.

The 41 year-old actor grabbed this part after starring in a string of comedies and told reporters on the red carpet that he did toy with the idea of being a lawyer.

“I thought that’s what I was going to do for six years,” McConaughey said. “I like how I’ve got it now. I can work as one, (then) do something else.”

McConaughey chose a Dolce & Gabbana silvery-gray suit for the premiere and Alves, 29, wore a beautiful black Camilla & Marc dress with draping at the waist.

So Britney Spears is doing the requisite media push to promote hew new album, Femme Fatale, and isn’t it convenient that OUT is publishing its first ever “Ladies We Love” issue at the same time?  And that they decided to make her their cover girl?  I mean honestly, the coincidences are astonishing.

But there she is, on the cover and in the pages of the iconic gay rag, and this confuses me mightily.  Let’s get one thing out of the way first though, rabid fans:  I’m not dissing Britney.  In fact,  she looks really good.  I am just not sure which of OUT‘s readers are the target audience of this particular shoot.  I mean, the gay men who admire her – perhaps want to BE her, and why not? – are probably not going to be overly excited about the crotch shots.  Are there so many lesbians who love Britney that they want to see her in her undies?  (Maybe I just don’t know enough of that kind of lesbian?)

I’ll tell you what, though, maybe they shouldn’t, based on her response when the mag asked her: “What women (living or dead) could make you think twice about your sexuality?” Britney said:

I only have eyes for men.

COME ON!  Would it have hurt her to at least name a chick she thinks is sexy?  At least throw the gay community even a tiny little bone, honey!  After all they’ve done for you.

Epic fantasy and medieval times set the stage for HBO’s upcoming series Game of Thrones.

Based on the book A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin and set in the mythical land of Westeros, the drama centers on the Stark family as they get caught up in royal intrigue and politics when the family patriarch, Eddard (Sean Bean) becomes the King’s right hand man.

The official synopsis:

“Summer span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun.

It will stretch from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues; to the vast and savage eastern lands; all the way to the frozen north, where an 800-foot wall of ice protects the kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men…all will play the ‘Game of Thrones.’”

The series debuts April 17th and HBO will premiere the first 15 minutes of the pilot on April 3rd at 9pm.

Jon Cryer is finally responding to former costar Charlie Sheen’s accusations that he is a turncoat and a troll by admitting he is in fact, a troll.

Cryer appeared on Conan O’Brien Thursday night (March 10th) for his confession and the Two and A Half Men star had a message for all the other trolls out there: “It gets sorta better,” he said.

Rachel Bilson was spotted in Sherman Oaks Thursday afternoon heading to lunch with friends.

The actress, who just landed the lead in the pilot Hart of Dixie that reunites her with The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz, was super casual in cutoffs and a white knit top.

The 29 year-old star also has a successful line of home goods at Macy’s. The Edie Rose Home Collection consists of table pieces with vintage appeal.
