Charlie Sheen received a visit from the Los Angeles Police Department yesterday evening, March 10th.

The Sherman Oaks residence of Sheen was searched by officers for firearms and ammunition that would have put the actor in violation of his TRO (temporary restraining order) granted to ex-wife Brooke Mueller.

“His Temporary Restraining Order states that: Restrained person cannot own, possess, have, buy, or try to buy, receive or try to receive, or in any other way get guns, other firearms or ammunition,” Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Norma Eisenman said. ” It came to the attention of the detectives that Mr. Sheen may have weapons in the home, and they are visiting him to make sure that he is abiding by the terms of his TRO.”

The police also report Sheen fully cooperated with authorities.

Mark Goss, Sheen’s attorney, says the police found an antique gun and some bullets.

As expected, Sheen took to twitter to let the world know how things went.

“#fastball; the LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!! c”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are reportedly going their separate ways.

Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, have battled break-up rumors throughout their relationship but this time they have decided to call it quits.

A source tells People magazine that “”there are no hard feelings,” and it happened quite recently.

The source continued “It was completely mutual and they both decided it was time to move on.”

Biel, who just celebrated her 29th birthday on March 3rd, was the subject of a rare Timberlake tweet for her birthday where The Social Network star encouraged followers to donate for her birthday.

“Jessica Biel donating her 29th for @charitywater. Let’s build a clean water well today!”

Timberlake has just wrapped filming Now with Amanda Seyfried and Alex Pettyfer.

Biel is finishing up work on New Year’s Eve in New York City.

Justin Bieber got a healthy dose of Bieber fever today as a mob of fans almost caused a riot on the streets of Liverpool, England.

The teen pop star is in the UK touring and his fans brought the city famous for the Beatles to a screeching halt as they crowded the streets of his hotel, trying to get a glimpse of JB.

The police were brought to control the crowd of screaming girls and Justin and his team were warned not to go outside for fear of a riot.

The 17 year-old told fans: “this is crazy. there are like thousands of people out there. love everybody but gonna try and get some sleep. please dont scream. lol”

Bieber, who is staying in the Hard Days Night Hotel (there’s a lesson in there somewhere…) wanted to head out to the balcony of his room to greet his fans but was told by the authorities if he stepped outside, he could face charges of “inciting a riot.”

The frustrated star tweeted:

“THIS IS CRAZY!

“trying to work it out so i can say whatup to my fans.

“I LOVE YOU GUYS!!”

He was finally able to emerge and wave to the Bielibers on the street below.

Justin will be performing at the Liverpool Echo Arena tomorrow night.

Brittany Snow revs up the cover of Maxim magazine’s April 2011 issue.

The just-turned 25 year-old who is costarring in NBC’s Harry’s Law tells the magazine she considers herself a “nerd.”

“I think that’s a big misconception about me. I tend to play more bubbly than I actually am. I was never the popular girl. I’m really shy. I’m really just a nerd.”

The Hairspray actress confesses that she doesn’t think she’s a sex symbol and this kind of sexy photo shoot is new to her.

“It’s funny, because I’ve never done anything like this before, so the whole experience was a big step for me. But it was cool. I felt really comfortable and had a great time.”

Charlie Sheen made good on his promise to sue.

The former star of Two and a Half Men, who was just officially fired from the hit CBS show this week, has filed a huge $100 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. and producer Chuck Lorre. The filing is not only for himself, but on behalf of the cast and crew who Sheen says should be paid as well.

Marty Singer, attorney for Sheen, says in the papers filed at Los Angeles Superior Court that Lorre wanted to get rid of him and Warner Bros. made it so to keep the producer happy.

“Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series Two and a Half Men in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre’s own conduct.”

The lawsuit continue:

“Warner Brothers capitulated to Lorre’s egotistical desire to punish Mr. Sheen and to stop work on the Series for the rest of the season,” the lawsuit states, “and used its powerful public relations machine to create a myth to justify their conduct by wrongly blaming Mr. Sheen.”

Among other things, Sheen says that as employers they were willing to reup his contract when he was in rehab, facing a felony charge and had demolished a hotel room.

The suit also says Lorre subjected him to humiliating and harassing comments and is the one to blame, citing his problems with other stars of his shows including Roseanne Barr, Cybil Shepherd and Brett Butler.

Sheen used twitter to tell the world of the suit saying: “#Fastball; Torpedo away… You corporate Trolls were warned. And now you’ve been served!”

Warner Bros. and Lorre have not responded as of yet.

Lindsay Lohan appeared in court today and got a mini reprieve.

Heading into the Los Angeles court room, Lohan and her attorney Shawn Holley, were given a preliminary hearing date of April 22nd in the case revolving around Lohan’s alleged grand theft since the actress is still unwilling to plead out the case.

Holley, Prosecutor Danette Meyers and Judge Keith Schwartz attempted to work out a plea arrangement as late as yesterday for Lohan to accept but the 24 year-old star isn’t biting because every deal comes with jail time.

Judge Schwartz is still giving Lindsay another chance to take the deal, saying in open court that he would accept a plea of guilty or no contest as late as March 23rd from the Lohan and her attorney, otherwise the case goes to Judge Stephanie Saunter in April.

Judge Saunter will hold the prelim hearing regarding evidence, any motions from the defense and also Lohan’s possible probation violation. If she is found in violation of her DUI case, she will go directly to jail until her trial.

Rachel Zoe is taking top honors as The Hollywood Reporter rolls out it’s inaugural Most Powerful Stylist list in the upcoming issue.

The 39 year-old stylist takes the fashionable cake above all others thanks to her list of clients, (Eva Mendes, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner and Demi Moore,) her hit reality TV show on BRAVO and her own sense of style and masterful ability to craft a fashion identity for her celebrity clients.

Zoe, who is eight months pregnant with her and husband Roger Berman’s first child, says she is taking things a bit slower than she had in the past.

“I can say in all honesty that being pregnant, working with the kind of people I work with and being this businesswoman has been a really wonderful, drama-free time in my life,” Zoe says.

Zoe’s issue is on sale Friday, March 11th.

Julianne Moore will have to channel her inner Mama Grizzly as she takes on the role of Sarah Palin for HBO.

The network is producing Game Change, an original movie based on Senator John McCain’s run for the office of the President. The film chronicles McCain’s campaign from the time of his selection of then Alaska Governor Palin as his running mate, to their defeat in November.

Based on the novel by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, it will be directed by Jay Roach.

The book was a behind the scenes look at the campaign candidates and their behavior. Many prominent politicians were included in the not-so-nice account including then Senator Obama and wife Michelle, former President Bill Clinton and then Senator Hillary Clinton among many others.
