Freida Pinto gets one of three covers for Glamour magazine’s May 2011 issue. Pinto is “The Goddess.”

The 26 year-old actress spoke about carving time out for boyfriend, actor Dev Patel.

“We recently realized we need a rule like that, because every time we think we’re going to be together, something work-related comes up,” Pinto said. “But we can’t put our careers on hold for this. We’re not at the stage where we have the privilege to turn things down.”

Freida says the two just take their schedules as they come and work in any couple time they can.

“So we’ll say, “You have two days off? Let’s find a way to meet up.” I think you can always make it work if you want to.”

Pinto will be seen in Rise of The Apes with James Franco (127 Hours) and Tom Felton (Harry Potter) in August and in The Immortals with Henry Cavill (the new Superman,) Kellan Lutz (Twilight) and Joseph Morgan (The Vampire Diaries) in November.

Vanessa Hudgens was at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas this weekend celebrating the release of her new movie, Sucker Punch, and wow. Her outfit is like a sucker punch to the eyes. I mean, what else can you say about an animal print playsuit and matching cape paired with a bejeweled headpiece? (And what animal is that print anyway?  Her outfit looks like it was made from a salmon-skin sushi roll.)  These elements plus the kilos of black eyeliner make Vanessa look like she’s about to tell your fortune in a strip mall storefront somewhere near oh, I dunno, VEGAS?  They also make her look like she’s about 56 years old.  Why, Vanessa, WHY?

Jackie Chan was reported dead this morning in big twitter hoax. Jackie Chan is ‘alive and well’ according to his official facebook page which included a photo taken of him today meeting with the Japan Consul.

Jackie Chan probably woke up in bewilderment this morning upon learning that folks on Twitter had been eulogizing him all night after someone pulled a hoax and managed to get “RIP Jackie Chan” among the social network’s top trending topics, tricking several users into mistakenly believing that the action star had in fact died. The good news: Jackie’s not dead. The bad news: someone over at Twitter quality control must have slept in this morning, because the hoax-based trending topic is still visible.

I can’t imagine waking up to a mass of eulogies. Talk about an odd way to face your mortality! Thankfully Jackie is still alive and still working. He seems like an incredibly healthy guy, I’m sure he’s got at least another 25 years of success ahead. It’s amazing to me how seriously people take Twitter reports; check your facts people!

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes hit the world premiere of The Kennedys, held at The Academy of of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles on Monday night.

Holmes, who played Jackie Kennedy in the biopic, told reporters she what she admired most about the former First Lady.

“I love how strong she was and what a great mom she was,” the actress said. “She was very supportive of her husband and she did so much for our country, and she’s had lasting influence. So I just started from there, and I approached this work knowing what a strong woman she was.”

The TV drama was dropped by The History Channel after The Kennedy family raised objections to how they were portrayed. Reelz Channel has since picked up the miniseries.

Rihanna sexes up the cover of Rolling Stone and shows how cheeky she is.

The singer wears a white vest and spray on shorts for the music magazine and the 24 year-old has got all the curves in all the right places.

Rihanna, who has been hit with poor ticket sales for her concert shows, is branching out to other music genres’ fans.

RiRi and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland are scheduled to duet Ri’s song “California King Bed” at the first ever fan-jam on the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards show, Sunday April 3rd.

Rob Lowe covers the May 2011 issue of Vanity Fair and I had to do a double take. The man is impossibly hot and still young looking – I honestly thought it was an older photo of him on the cover.

Lowe’s upcoming autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends, is excerpted in the issue with a nod to his costars from The Outsiders and the then largely-unknown cast who rocketed to fame (and infamy) and the tabloid name “The Brat Pack” shortly after.

On Charlie Sheen: “We competed to see who could play harder, then show up for work and still kick a–,” Lowe says, recalling the 1987 days when he was filming Masquerade in the Hamptons while Sheen was filming Wall Street. “The verdict: Charlie by a nose.”

On Patrick Swayze: Swayze is “as cool as you want, wearing tight jeans and a tattered, sleeveless Harley-Davidson T-shirt revealing his massive, ripped arms. (This is his uniform, he never changes it, and if I looked like him, neither would I.).”

On Tom Cruise: “He’s open, friendly, funny, and has an almost robotic, bloodless focus and an intensity that I’ve never encountered before.”

The Vanity Fair issue is on sale in NYC and L.A. on Thursday and the rest of the country on April 5th.

Josh Duhamel organized a charity run to raise money for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief efforts and it was a rousing success.

Duhamel and his wife, Fergie, (who’s birthday was Sunday) hit the Santa Monica beach with 4,000 people to take part in the Tokidoki Youth Run 4 Japan to benefit The American Red Cross Japan Relief Fund.

Among the runners were I Am Number Four costars Dianna Agron and Teresa Palmer and socialite sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton.

The run earned $130,000 and tokidoki shirt sales were $90,000.

Duhamel said on twitter: “We did it! 4,000+ people pack the beach! The youth of LA mobilized & should be proud. All of u that donated should be proud. Much love..JD”

Jake Gyllenhaal appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of Source Code, held at the Arclight Cinerama Dome in Los Angeles on March 28th.

The 30 year-old actor, who wore a Tom Ford suit, told reporters the film moves from the cliched responses and repetition to give the audience a heady experience.

“We knew beforehand that the only way this was going to be engaging and intriguing and fun to watch was through variation,” Gyllenhaal said. “How Duncan staged a scene, how I responded, how I gathered information, how much I was aware of what was going, and how much I wasn’t aware.”

Once he was able to leave behind the automatic ideas of a thriller, Gyllenhaal says he found a renewed interest.

“So it felt like a real tightrope walk for me. And as soon as I stopped thinking about all those cliched responses you might expect from an actor in a thriller, as soon as it became a real psychological exploration, it became fascinating to me,” he said,

Source Code opens in theaters Friday, April 1st.
