Will Lindsay Lohan Plead No Contest To Theft Charges?

She has been given 120 days in jail for a parole violation but will she get more time?

Lindsay Lohan is set to plead no contest to misdemeanor theft charges, according to a report on TMZ.

Lohan could go back to the judge sometime this week to enter the plea and she’s hoping additional jail time will not be ordered. Judge Stephanie Saunter found Lindsay in violation of her parole and along with time in the pokey, sentenced her to 480 hours of community service.

It is likely that because of overcrowding and the nature of the crime (non-violent) she would do about 3 weeks of jail time instead of 4 months as sentenced.

The actress had grand theft charges filed against her earlier this year when a necklace she was trying on went missing from Kamofie & Co. jewelry store in California. Lohan was seen on surveillance video leaving with the item still around her neck. Just before a search warrant was executed on her home for the porperty, a friend of Lohan’s turned it in to the police, citing a misunderstanding.

Honeymoon Delayed For Prince William & Kate Middleton

The newlyweds are postponing their honeymoon for a bit.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are not headed to an exotic locale for the traditional honeymoon today. Instead they are spending a quite and private weekend in England before the Prince returns to his military duties on Monday.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen not to depart for a honeymoon immediately,” said the Palace in a press release.

“Instead, after spending the weekend privately in the United Kingdom, The Duke will return to work as a Search and Rescue pilot next week. The locations of both their private weekend and their future honeymoon, which will be overseas, will not be disclosed in advance.”

Odds makers are favoring Kenya for the eventual honeymoon destination with Australia, Scotland, the Maldives and the Seychelles as possible spots.

Prince William & Kate Middleton OFFICIAL Wedding Portraits

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s official wedding photographs were released by Buckingham Palace today showing the newlyweds pictured in the throne room in one and among their family and the bridal party children.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge smile for Hugo Bertrand as the photographer had one hour (a very tight schedule) to complete all the official portraits of the wedding party.

“Amazingly it was a family wedding,” he said. “From where I was and from their point of view it was two families coming together and that was the feeling, the sense of family and love going between everyone.”

“They had their own buzz,” Bertrand relayed about the afternoon. “Everyone had their own buzz. It was that excitement that I hope you feel at most weddings.”

Prince Harry Toasts Prince William & Kate Middleton

Giving a memorable toast to Prince William and Kate Middleton was Prince Harry’s real duty yesterday.

Yes, of course he had to be there for his brother and support him in every way he could, and the youngest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana did just that.

But let’s face it, all eyes and ears were waiting for Harry’s Best Man speech at the reception for 300 close friends and family. No phones or cameras were allowed but Harry did a fantastic job.

“[Harry] was brilliant. We all wished he could have just carried on. It was perfect. He was very nice,” a guest reported to US Weekly.

The pal added that the 26-year-old prince “was the model brother [and] said all the things he needed to say. It was perfect. He was a dude.”

Harry may have been a bit off with his jokes in Pippa Middleton’s eyes:

Last night joker Prince Harry struck again with a quip about his grandfather the Duke of Edinburgh being dwarfed by Kate Middleton, who stood tall in three-inch heels alongside her prince.

His stunning second sister-in-law Pippa, 27, did not appear amused – but she will need to get used to Harry’s humour.

Whether Pippa was upset or not, many other guests left the night happy and feeling that Harry did a great job.

Kate Middleton: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Bridal tradition carried on with Kate Middleton yesterday at her Westminster Abbey wedding to Prince William.

The now Duchess of Cambridge chose to continue with tradition of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.

Kate wedding dress, designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, used a traditional style of lace making, Carrickmacross, originating in Ireland, and the lace appliques were handmade by the Royal School of Needlework.

New diamond earrings were gifts from her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton. The diamond style oak leaves and drop acorn design reflect the new coat of arms the Middleton family received just prior to the wedding.

Kate’s tiara was something borrowed. The 1936 Cartier “halo” is traditional for new Royal brides to wear, and Queen Elizabeth lent the sparkler to her for the day.

For something blue, Burton had a small blue bow sewn into the dress, inconspicuously to complete the long held traditional good luck rhyme.

Prince Charles Toasts The Newlyweds: ‘We’re Lucky To Have Her’ He Says Of Kate

In a more relaxed atmosphere after their big day, the Royal Family members were free to say a few words to each other and their friends and family members at the Queen’s luncheon.

Father of the groom Prince Charles toasted his son, Prince William and his new daughter-in-law Kate Middleton.

Charles took a moment to point out both his and William’s thinning hairline, to the amusement of the guests. Both William and Kate smiled when Charles, looking down at William’s head,  joked that it must be hereditary.

The Duke of Cornwall let the guests know he was truly appreciative of Kate and his speech was heartfelt, according to Dr. Robert Acheson, a friend of the Middleton’s.

“William spoke very well but it was Charles who really gave high praise to his daughter-in-law. He said they were really lucky to have a daughter like her,” the retired Headmaster said.

He’s known Kate for years and Acheson had nothing but praise for her.

“I think Kate will be a wonderful role model,” he said. “She’s an exceptionally nice person and she’s no fool. She will make a very good queen. She brings a lot to the party and I think they recognise that.”

He continued “The speech really brought a tear to the eye. She was a delightful child and is now a delightful young woman.”

Martin Luther King Jr. Biopic Finally Moving Forward

The inevitable biopic about civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. is finally set to move forward.

While other Martin Luther King projects seem to be on the ropes, DreamWorks’ untitled MLK biopic is starting to come together.

Kario Salem, best known for writing the 2001 Robert De Niro-Edward Norton drama The Score, is in negotiations to pen the project, which also sees Warner Bros. coming on board to co-finance and to distribute with Disney’s Touchstone label. (Disney is where DreamWorks is housed.)

Thankfully things are falling into place for this long awaited film. Originally Dreamworks was developing a film as well as Warner Brothers, now that they are working together it can finally happen. It’s one of those biopics that seems like it should have come out twenty years ago, hopefully it’ll be worth the wait!

Topless Mermaids on New ‘Pirates: On Stranger Tides’ Posters

Here are the two newest posters for the upcoming summer movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Cool artwork here, but I must say, Disney is getting a lot more risqué nowadays! There is no way they could have gotten away with this ten years ago, even with the carefully placed flowing hair. I don’t have the highest hopes for this movie, but I’m sure it’ll be a fun romp on some level.
