Taylor Momsen At Looney Tunes Signing

Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless made an appearance at the Looney Tunes store in West Babylon, NY. The group signed CD and gave a free acoustic show for the fans.

Taylor told MTV’s Hollywood Crush that it might be sometime before you see her back on Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey.

Well, what I will say, the show is being very, very supportive of the band, and you physically can’t do both at the same time,” Taylor explained. “I can’t be on set and then in France touring or wherever. So they’re writing me out of story lines and allowing me to tour, and I really have to thank them for that, so you won’t see me for a while.”

Emmy Rossum Beverly Hills Shopping

Emmy Rossum spends the day in Beverly Hills looking rather glum while shopping and being photographed.

While the Shameless actress wasn’t thrilled with the paparazzi intrusion this day, she did recently say she was a big fan of one comedic movie in particular.

“My favorite comedy is ‘As Good As It Gets.’

“I love that movie! Jack Nicholson is absolutely perfect in that. He’s Melvin! He’s perfect! And he and Helen Hunt together, they both nailed it. Not every movie finds that kind of energy. But this one does, and it’s so fun to watch,” she said.

James McAvoy & Robert Redford At ‘The Conspirator’ Premiere

James McAvoy & Robert Redford headed to the world premiere of their latest flick, The Conspirator at the Fords Theatre in Washington DC.

The movie about the trial of a Southern woman accused of conspiring to assassinate Abraham Lincoln has Redford as director and McAvoy is her public defender, Frederick Aiken.

Of the historical figure, McAvoy said there wasn’t alot of information on him but the effect of the trial on him was huge.

“This trial is momentous for him, and it changes him in a fundamental way,” McAvoy told Movieline. “It kind of cripples his ability to fight in that system. He gave it everything he had, and he wasn’t always the best at it. But he really threw his whole heart and soul into it, and it didn’t work — even though it should have.”

Lady Gaga Reveals ‘Born This Way’ Album Cover

Just a day after the early release of her new single, ‘Judas,’ Lady Gaga has revealed the cover art of the album from whence it came – Born This Way, dropping May 23rd.

And um?  She’s a motorcycle.  At first I just thought she was sitting on the motorcycle, but no, she actually IS the motorcycle.  She has handlebars coming out of her head, and her her arms are the front forks.    I find this imagery disturbing, moreso than her other looks.  Maybe it’s because I’m thinking about someone literally being born that way, and all I can think is, “Ouch.”

Nicolas Cage Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges

Actor Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans’ French Quarter on Saturday morning.   He was charged with domestic abuse and disturbing the peace following a drunken argument with his wife, Alice Kim.

Here’s his mug shot, where he does indeed look quite drunk.

People provided this quote from a statement by the New Orleans Police Department:

“Cage and his wife were standing in front of a residence that he insisted was the property the couple was renting. She disagreed, and Cage grabbed her by the upper arm and pulled her to what he believed was the correct address. There were no visible signs of injury on his wife’s arm.

“The actor then began striking vehicles and later attempted to get into a taxi. At that point, an officer who had been flagged down by onlookers drove up on the couple, immediately observed that Cage was heavily intoxicated and ordered him out of the cab, which prompted Cage to start yelling. The officers subsequently took Cage to Central Lock-up.”

Cage was held for eight hours before he was released on $11,000 bond.  TMZ is reporting that his bond was posted by Duane “Dog” Chapman of the reality show Dog The Bounty Hunter.   His wife must have been still pretty pissed off not to have posted his bail.  Or maybe she was just too drunk still?  Or maybe they don’t have the money… Cage is still being pursued by the IRS over unpaid taxes.
