Celebrities lit up the red carpet at the Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica for the local American Red Cross’ Red Tie Affair gala last weekend.  The annual event raises funds to support the organization’s Santa Monica chapter’s disaster relief work.

Josh Duhamel, on hand with his wife Fergie, received a Crystal Cross Award for organizing a run to raise funds for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief.

Also in attendance:  Pete Wentz, Bridget Marquardt and Paris Hilton (whose graphic print maxi dress I totally love).  More pictures of all these folks sporting red for the Red Cross after the jump.

Evangeline Lilly is reportedly pregnant with her first child.

Photos of the former LOST star have surfaced with Lilly having a decided pregnancy bump and while her reps won’t comment, the photos are clear (see the US Magazine pic here.)

Lilly, 31, has been dating a production assistant from the show, Norman Kali. The actress was previously involved with costar Dominic Monaghan for 5 years while the show was still airing.

The very private actress has said she was not terribly interested in an acting career and considered it a “day job.”

She and Kali are living in Hawaii.

Here are the new character posters for the upcoming comedy sequel The Hangover Part II.

Funny posters, I really hope this sequel is as good as the first movie. I think adding the monkey to ‘The Wolfpack’ is a formula for comedy gold. Who doesn’t like monkeys!? The Hangover Part II is out on May 26th, 2011.

Here’s the poster for the upcoming Jim Carrey movie Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

This movie looks like it could be pretty fun, although it is obviously aiming at the kid crowd. The fact is that kids films are an incredibly lucrative part of the business. We know Jim Carrey is good in movies with animals (Ace Ventura movies), so I’m hoping this will be fun for big kids too.

Nestor Carbonell who played the mayor of Gotham City in The Dark Knight is likely to return for The Dark Knight Rises.

Looks like Nestor Carbonell will be back in Gotham City as mayor — the actor is in talks to join the cast of The Dark Knight Rises. He’s one more small piece of the puzzle that Christopher Nolan is starting to assemble, and joins other returning cast members Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.

All the elements are coming together for this highly anticipated film. I don’t see how Carbonell could possibly say no to the role, he was great in The Dark Knight as the mayor. passing up the opportunity to work with Christopher Nolan again on a film this big would be foolish. Side note: I always thought he was wearing dark eye makeup but it turns out that he just has super-thick eyelashes! It’s certainly a definitive characteristic. The Dark Knight Rises shoots this summer for a 2012 release.

Ryan Gosling is in talks to star as The Lone Ranger along with Johnny Depp who is playing Tonto.

It’s early, and Gosling’s schedule might not permit him to take the role of the Lone Ranger opposite Johnny Depp as Tonto. Gosling is starring as Logan in “Logan’s Run” which is scheduled to begin production this fall.

This seems like a great pairing, hopefully Gosling‘s schedule will allow him to do it. This is one of those projects that has been on the radar for a long time but doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. It’s good to hear that Disney is still moving forward with the movie, it has a lot of potential.

Here’s the new hyper-detailed banner for the upcoming Disney/Pixar animated feature Cars 2.

This banner has so many details! You have to click on it to see the full size version to get all the details. Although this movie is the sequel to my least favorite Pixar film ever I’ll still watch it. I’m hoping it falls into the spy film genre as I’ve heard, that would be way better than another racing movie. Cars 2 will be out in theaters on June 24th, 2011.

Here are the first images of Ewan McGregor on the set of the upcoming film Jack the Giant Killer from director Bryan Singer.

When a princess is kidnapped, a long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.

These images reveal a different kind of movie than I was imagining. It looks much more like a medieval times story than a fantasy story. Bryan Singer is a great director so I have a lot of faith in this movie coming out well. McGregor is always good too, he’s always passionate in his roles. Look for this movie in theaters June 15th, 2012.

Lady Gaga’s latest song “Judas” has been released today after portions of the tune were leaked online yesterday.

Her second single off of her upcoming album Born This Way, was originally scheduled to drop Tuesday, April 19th.

While the single “Born This Way” was a nod to (some say theft of) Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” “Judas” is very Gaga invoking her other singles “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face” with a dance/elctro pop sound that she does so well.

Her album drops officially May 23rd.

The Kardashian family nabbed the Redbook cover and attended the first ever Redbook Family Celebration at Sunset Towers in Los Angeles on April 11th.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian were joined by Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner and Kourtney and Mason Disick.

Kris Jenner told Redbook that it irritates her when people think that her daughters do nothing and aren’t talented.

She told the magazine “It’s annoying when I hear, “What do your girls do?” Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs,” the matriarch said.

“They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show. And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old,” she continues.

“So to me, that’s a huge misconception – that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day. And that they don’t have any talent? They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show. Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. [I want to say,] How many shows do you have?”
