Tina Fey is hitting the book signing trail for her memoir, Bossypants and her first stop: Barnes & Noble in New York.
The 30 Rock actress, who just announced her second pregnancy, is returning to her old SNL studio to host Saturday Night Live on May 7th.

Gwen Stefani may be on the cover of May 2011 Elle, but I must admit I think Nicki Minaj gives her some stiff competition for Queen of this issue. Nicki dispenses with the wacky wigs and tacky togs and gives us a photo spread full of energy and, yes, loveliness. (Honestly, it’s amazing how attractive she is when she’s not wearing a fright wig.) And also high fashion: she wears Givenchy and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

In what I think is a little bit of an inexplicable career turn, supermodel Christie Brinkley made her Broadway debut at the Ambassador Theatre this weekend. She is the latest of a long string of actresses to play the role of murderer Roxie Hart in Chicago: The Musical.
Admittedly, I have to wonder about the producers’ casting choice as well. I mean, we know Christie can dance (she’s the ‘Uptown Girl‘, after all). We also know she can act, kind of. But I never knew she could sing. And while she’s undoubtedly a stunning 50-something, she’s probably about twice the age you’d expect Roxie Hart to be. But then again, many actresses have filled this role since this particular “revival” of Chicago debuted in 1996 (including Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Brooke Shields, Melora Hardin, Samantha Harris, Melanie Griffith and oh! – someone who can actually sing – Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child). so maybe they’re running out of options.
If you want to catch Christie on Broadway, she’ll be with the show for the next 11 weeks.

Alessandra Ambrosio and Selma Blair attended the opening of Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on April 9th.
Blair, showing off her baby belly, wore a cute patterned dress from Tucker by Gaby Basora and Ambrosio chose an Emilo Pucci little number that showed off her long legs.
Alessandra was also celebrating her 30th birthday at the event and with husband Jamie, they took daughter, Anja to Tao Las Vegas for a b-day celebration meal.

Ashley Greene lands the cover of InStyle’s Spring 2011 Hair Special Issue.
The Twilight star had a few things to say about her hair, the end of the vampire franchise and her costars and her short beauty routine.
On transforming from mortal to vampire: “The whole process takes about two hours. My hair is pretty thick, and we wrap it and put it under a wig. To get it to fit so I don’t like look I have an alien head is a talent in itself. The makeup is even more involved because they have to make us pale without taking away every feature.”
On camaraderie with her Twilight co-stars: “We just filmed the fourth movie, and I think we’ve all grown up. We’re like a family. That’s not to say there weren’t disagreements. We’re working 16 hours a day! We’re exhausted! Things happen. But the nice part is that at the end of the day, it’s like yelling at your sister. You don’t stay mad at her.”
Of her beauty habits: “I love having my hair and makeup done, but I’m really just a 15-minute girl, throwing everything on with no fuss. That said, I do color and change my hair all the time!”

Irina Shayk added considerable class and beauty to the season opening of TAO Beach. You’d expect a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl to be wearing a little less clothing for a pool party, but it’s not like anyone goes to a place like TAO to actually swim, right? It’s a see-and-be-seen kind of spot, after all… the kind of place you can hire someone to spray you with water if you get too hot, or even call for a minister to marry you or hear your confession on the spot. Newlyweds Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth did make it on a honeymoon after all! However, it turned out to be a family affair: they were spotted in Belize vacationing with Reese’s children Ava and Deacon.
Sources say they were dressed very casually and “acting like regular tourists” on the trip. Well, why wouldn’t they? Has Reese ever been the kind of celebrity who runs around with an entourage?
The couple was married on March 26 in Ojai, CA. You can see their pretty wedding pictures in People, on newsstands now.
