Danny McBride & Gia Ruiz Are Expecting A Baby

Danny McBride and his wife, Gia Ruiz are expecting a baby, the actor announced on Conan O’Brien’s late night program.

The Eastbound & Down star married girlfriend Ruiz, an art department assistant on the show, in October of 2010 and told the late night talk show host he got right down to business.

“I got married last October,” McBride said. “I wasted zero time. Three months later I knocked my wife up. It happened very quickly.”

The 34 year-old joked he was surprised by how accurate health class was.

“I had never impregnated anyone before,” the actor said. “So I didn’t really realize that what they teach you in health class is actually true. That’s all it takes.”

McBride even quipped about the sex of the baby, a boy is in the works for the couple.

“We’ve been told that it’s either a three-legged girl or a very well hung boy. We either have a marathon runner or a porn star,” he joked.

McBride’s latest film, Your Highness, opens in theaters on April 8th.

DWTS Karina Smirnoff Is Dancing With Playboy

Mag mogul Hugh Hefner tweeted the info on Wednesday.

“The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars’ Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside,” Hefner said.

‘Paramore’ Hayley Williams Covers Cosmo

Paramore’s Hayley Williams find herself on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine for May.

The singer wanted fans to know why she took on the shoot and posted a lengthy explanation on her band’s livejournal blog.

She begins: “i wanna talk about the cosmo cover. it’s a little more than a big deal to me. and you know what? i’m really excited about it. to the general public, cosmo magazine is either a) a woman’s obsession or b) a woman’s demise — honestly, either of the two options equal out to be the same damn thing! the media clearly has our attention.”

Williams goes on to to say that while the images can make you feel like you are supposed to look one way and only one way to be in the media, she’s trying to stake out her own path. Her reluctance to be out in front of the band hasn’t worked, so Williams says she is trying something new.

“my #1 goal when the band began was to make myself invisible. not only did i not want to be the focal point, i wanted to be UNSEEN! and honestly, it never made a difference. i’ve turned down a lot of magazine covers. i specifically remember turning down Blender mag when i turned 19. and you know what? no one ever knew. it never made people focus on me any less. and it never mattered. so this time i’m taking a different approach. all 3 of us in Paramore have our own roles. and finally i will accept mine. i’m going to be okay with being a “powerful female”. and if that’s what it is… i’m going to use that role to make a difference.”

Hayley continues: “here’s my course of action. i WILL be myself. i WILL grow up. and i most definitely WILL find the time in my own life to be SEXY if i feel like it. who wrote the rules? who said that a girl that lives in this same tshirt and jeans nearly every day won’t wanna wear pumps and a short skirt tomorrow? the heart that’s underneath the clothes is still the same. because to me, it’s not about using sex as a weapon. it’s about how i feel.”

Williams is just finding her way and wrestling with how overtly sexy she wants to be seen as. Nothing wrong with that. Much harder to do in the public eye.

Robert Sean Leonard Contemplates Leaving ‘House’

House might be one doctor down come next season.

Robert Sean Leonard has signed on to do a Broadway play and misses live theater so much, he is thinking of leaving the hit show.

The actor told TVLine that since his deal was up and no one (not even the show itself) has a new contract in place, he’s wondering aloud if it will come together.

“This is my last season of House. I’m shooting my last episode now,” Leonard said. “Contractually this is it. There’s also no deal for House next year because Comcast bought NBC Universal and no one has a deal. If I do House next year it’ll be under a new umbrella. But legally and contractually, I’m free after this [season].”

However he does leave some room for a return.

“I. Love. Money. Very, very much. But I also love my wife and my daughter,” the actor said. “And when this play first came up I knew the only way it could work is if the show was over because the run [would overlap] with House‘s shooting schedule. And when my contract was not renewed this season…”

He continued “The long and short of it is, I don’t know. I would love to make more money. Money is nice. I also really miss [living in] New Jersey. I also really miss theater. I miss my friends. Gabby misses her family. I’m sick and tired of living in a place I don’t feel at home.”

You gotta love his honesty.

Alec Baldwin Says Long Live ’30 Rock’

Alec Baldwin has had to clarify his 30 Rock statement.

Talking to Vulture.com at the National Dance Institute’s Fund Raising Gala, the actor commented on the end of the show in 2012.

“I will tell you one thing. And that is our show next year is our last year of the show,” Baldwin said.

“Our contracts are expired [in 2012], and Tina [Fey] is gonna have a big career directing films and writing,” he explained further. “She’s going to be the next Elaine May. She’ll be great.”

That set off a wave of panic for the popular program and today, Baldwin is verbally two-stepping around his initial statement.

Writing on The Huffington Post, Baldwin says it’s really only his future he’s certain of.

“Gosh.

I want to take the opportunity to state that although my days on network TV may be numbered, I hope 30 Rock goes on forever. Or at least as long as everyone involved desires.

Next year hopefully won’t be the last. Kenneth can run the network. Jenna will get her own talk show. Tracy will become Mayor of New York. Then resign to go raise exotic reptiles. And Lemon will go do … just about anything she sets her mind to.

Here’s to five more seasons.”

Viva La Liz Lemon.

Gwen Stefani Tells Elle ‘I’m Very Vain’

Gwen Stefani has never made it any secret she is really concerned with her looks.

The 41 year-old lands the cover for Elle magazine’s May 2011 Women in Music issue and says she does love the way she looks.

“I mean, I’m very vain. That would be my middle name. Of course I am, you know what I mean? I love the visual,” Stefani tells Elle.

The No Doubt frontwoman pays attention to not only how she looks, but how other women in music are dressing as well. Facing the inevitable comparisions to Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, Stefani sees their style as much more sexual than hers.

“I don’t see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on,” the singer said. “I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy.”

“Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there’s going to be a little of that,” she said. “But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing.”

The issue is on sale April 12th.

Tina Fey Is Pregnant

Tina Fey is expecting a baby.

The 30 Rock actress and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, are prepping for a second child and announced she is 5 months pregnant.

Fey, who was taping an appearance for The Oprah Winfrey Show scheduled to air on April 12th, told the host the couple is set to give 5 year-old daughter Alice a sibling.

The former Saturday Night Live star wrote about giving Alice a brother or sister in her book Bossypants.

“I thought that raising an only child would be the norm in Manhattan, but my daughter is the only child in her class without a sibling,” Fey wrote. “Most kids have at least two.”

“Who will be my daughter’s family when my husband and I are dead from stress-induced cankers?” she joked. “She must have a sibling.”

Wish granted.
