Watch Four Minutes of ‘Green Lantern’ Now! (Video)

Here is four minutes of footage released today to show off the upcoming film Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds.

I must admit, this footage brought me back some of the hope I’d lost in this movie. It’s really visually stunning obviously, but I’ve been worried about the overall presentation of the Green Lantern universe. It’s looking like a cool fantasy movie from this footage, it’s like the superhero factor is just a side story. What do you think?

Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth Cast in ‘The Hunger Games’

Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth have both landed roles in the upcoming film The Hunger Games.

Lionsgate made official what Deadline foreshadowed last Friday. Josh Hutcherson has now been set by director Gary Ross to play the baker’s son Peeta Mellark, and Liam Hemsworth is set to play Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games. They will star opposite Jennifer Lawrence in what is expected to be a trilogy of films based on the Suzanne Collins novels. These were two the most coveted roles for young actors this year.

Josh Hutcherson I have met personally, he is completely down to earth and appreciative of his success. I’m really happy for him getting a role that he can really sink his teeth into. I’m sure both Hutcherson and Hemsworth are well suited for their roles. I’m about to borrow The Hunger Games book from a friend, I’m anxious to read it since it’s supposedly a really great story. The movie is bound to have a huge following, especially now!

Gretchen Rossi Says Tamra Barney “Turns It On For The Camera”

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi is calling out her costar, Tamra Barney.

The Rossi VS Barney tussling has been an ongoing staple on the Bravo TV show for a few seasons and it looks like there is no stopping it in this season, the sixth, either.

Gretchen told Popeater that Tamra has “Camera balls” – that urge to ramp up their personality and dramas just as the cameras start rolling.

“Tamra definitely turns it on for the cameras,” Gretchen tells the site. “She and I get along really well off camera, but when we’re on camera she’s just mean and evil. Not nice.”

Really? You two are fine off camera? I find that almost impossible to believe. The terrible things they say about each other on camera and it rolls off their backs in between shooting?

Well, add this to the pile of conflicting statements. Rossi claims Tamra want the spotlight to herself and that is why she acts out on screen.

“I think [Tamra] wants to be the star of the show, and that’s fine with me,” she said. “Because if she wants to be the star of the show, that means she’s a train wreck, so I’m totally OK with that.”

I have to admit – I’m not sure why Gretchen and Tamra would be OK with each other after the way they treat one another in front of the lens. I picture the two plotting the public humilation and demise of the other as a regular afternoon appointment.

Marion Cotillard Lounges For Lady Dior Ad

Lounging on top of a table with St. Basil’s Cathedral of Russia out the window, Marion Cotillard is elegant and beautiful for the new Lady Dior ad.

Photographed by Craig McDean, the pregnant Cotillard was on a Parisian set for the shoot, unable to travel to Moscow, and the magic of photoshop was employed.

The House of Christian Dior will have a major exhibition coming up at Pushkin Museum and is reopening it’s Moscow store in the coming months, perhaps the reason for choosing it as the setting of this campaign? Other cities have been featured in previous ads include Paris and London.

The print ads are set to appear in the May and June issues of Vanity Fair, Elle, Vogue and other publications.

Cotillard looks fabulous and the Cathedral in the background works oddly perfectly. I love it. Oh and the handbag!
