WATCH: Lindsay Lohan Takes A Bite Out Of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Michael Trevino

Lindsay Lohan steps into the super popular world of vampires for a shoot with photographer Tyler Shields.

The actress took on the role of the bloodsucker and posed in a series of provocative shots with The Vampire Diaries resident werewolf Michael Trevino.

Of the photo shoot, Shields said on his blog that the timing for both actors was perfect and it just magically came together.

“Lindsay Lohan and Michael Trevino as vampires, it got intense on this shoot people left bleeding!” he wrote.

“Lindsay and I had been wanting to do this vampire shoot for a while and it came together in perfect time for my gallery, Trevino just happened to be in town it was all meant to be!”

Check out the photos on Shields site here.

Lea Michele Talks High School & Nose Jobs With Cosmo UK

Lea Michele covers Cosmopolitan UK for June and once again, is asked about a nose job.

“Of course, I thought about it. I’m sooo thankful that I didn’t,” she told the magazine.

The Glee star also shared how she wasn’t quite as prim as her TV alter-ego Rachel Berry is in high school.

“I wasn’t a goody-goody,” Michele said. “I loved to have fun. I never did drugs. Acting always came first. I was lucky, because I really believed in who I was.”

And she says, she was sure Disney wasn’t an option for her, based on her looks.

“I knew I wasn’t going to end up on a Disney half-hour show,” the 24 year-old said. “I mean, look at me! I don’t look like those girls. I just wanted to do a guest appearance on something like Grey’s Anatomy.”

Now with all her success, she still isn’t planning on running wild. Her perfect night is much more low key than clubbing.

“Take a shower, put on a bathrobe, pour myself a glass of wine and Skype with Theo. That’s the best.”

Now, let’s put those nose job questions to rest – really!

Rachel McAdams Says She’s ‘Such A Romantic’

Rachel McAdams beams on the cover of Elle magazine’s June issue.

The actress reveals that much like some of the characters she’s portrayed on screen, she too is a romantic at heart.

“I am. When Billie Holiday comes on, I can’t help but be transported—and I’m sure it wasn’t as romantic then at all—but that’s the wonderful part of my job: dressing up and walking down the street in New York or Toronto, pretending I’m in the ’40s.”

But it’s her parents marriage that inspires her the most.

“[They are] Still together and still in love,” the 32 year-old actress shared. “I’m very blessed that way. I had a great example of love in front of me, and that’s probably what makes me such a romantic, because I’ve seen it firsthand.”

McAdams can next be seen in the Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris, where she met her current boyfriend Michael Sheen.

Pre-Production Halted on ‘The Dark Tower’

Bad news for Dark Tower fans, the pre-production on the upcoming Stephen King fantasy films has been halted due to budgetary concerns from the studio.

Universal Pictures has put pre-production staff on hiatus as they discuss ways to bring down the budget of the ambitious adaptation of the Stephen King novel series The Dark Tower. Talks are ongoing between studio brass, director Ron Howard and his Imagine Entertainment, and writer/producer Akiva Goldsman about how they will proceed. The plan was to make three movies that would star Javier Bardem, with TV miniseries in between each film. The plan was as ambitious as New Line’s gamble on The Lord of the Rings years ago.

This means that the first film’s september shoot schedule isn’t going to happen. I really hope they figure out a way to make it work and get pre-production back on track. These movies are going to be huge, it’s a shame that the studio is being stingy. Here’s hoping they resolve the issues quickly so they can get back on track, waiting fans are going to start getting antsy (like I am).

New ‘Conan the Barbarian’ Poster is Bloody

Here’s the brand new poster for this summer’s remake Conan the Barbarian.

This poster is actually pretty cool, I love that he’s battling so many people at once, it’s like a war explosion. Unfortunately the movie itself isn’t looking too promising, but if they keep it up with cool advertising like this I’m sure it’ll greatly add to the already guaranteed audience.

Hugo Weaving Returns to Middle Earth in ‘The Hobbit’

Hugo Weaving who played Lord Elrond in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is reprising his role for the upcoming prequel The Hobbit.

The rest of the cast remains on duty for another few weeks, working on hobbit-less sections of the film.  These involve dwarves of course but also elves, with Hugo Weaving back for a stretch as Lord Elrond.

Great to hear, Hugo is one of those rarely talked about but highly talented actors who’s face everyone knows. I love that Ian McKellen blogs about his experiences and reveals tantalizing bits of information like he does. I’m glad Weaving is back, every time I hear about more of the cast returning the little geek inside me gets a little more excited. Alas, we still have a year and a half before we’ll have the pleasure of actually watching The Hobbit.

Woody Harrelson Joining ‘Hunger Games’

Woody Harrelson has been cast in the upcoming young adult novel adaptation The Hunger Games.

Woody Harrelson has landed the latest co-starring role in Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games, the adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel that will be released March 23, 2012. He will play Haymitch Abernathy, the mentor of the lead character Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who Abernathy trains to fight in a televised battle to the death among teen teams.

Seems like new casting news comes down the pipeline for this movie every day, but this is one that surprised me a bit. Harrelson isn’t a face I expected to see amongst this crowd, but the list just keeps growing. Honestly I’ll be glad when they are done casting and just get to shooting!

First Full ‘Conan the Barbarian’ Trailer Doesn’t Thrill

Here’s the first full trailer for the upcoming remake Conan the Barbarian.

Action, action, action, that’s clearly all this movie is about. Not that I expected much more than that, but it’s not enough to get me excited. It feels generic to me, it’s like they just stuck the label on it to make it salable. What do you think? Will it be worth slapping down $18 to see it in 3D?

Quentin Tarantino Wants Will Smith to Play a Slave in ‘Django Unchained’

If you didn’t know already Quentin Tarantino‘s next film will be titled Django Unchained, it’s a spaghetti western and he wants Will Smith to star. He’s made some huge steps towards making that happen.

Sources tell me that international on Quentin Tarantino’s new Spaghetti Western Django Unchained is going to Sony to co-finance production later this year and distribute sometime in 2012. This after the filmmakers met with every major studio except Warner Bros. Of course, The Weinstein Company is taking domestic…

…Right now, Will is still pondering his role as a slave in the script, which I just read and would be a very risky project for the actor, who’s known for carefully controlling his professional persona. Other top-flight casting will start immediately. The film is a take-off on the Sergio Leone/Eastwood “Man With No Name” films. According to the script, it’s not a Spaghetti Western remake or reboot but a brand new story with a similar character and similar stylized violence from those 1960s films.

It’s bizarre and unusual, Tarantino hasn’t wanted big names in his films until recently (Brad Pitt in Inglourious Basterds). Will Smith taking on a controversial role like this would be a great boost for him in my opinion. I’m sure his character is more than just a slave, he’s probably a bad-ass too. It’s odd, but that’s one of the main reasons I like Tarantino so much. He’s always full of surprises, and I’m sure Django Unchained will be yet another gem in his collection.
