Shania made a stop on her book tour at the Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue in New York City.  See more pictures from the event after the jump.

Joining the likes of Zooey Deschanel, Colbie Caillet and Leona Lewis, actress Kate Bosworth is singing the praises of cotton fabric for Cotton Incorporated.

Bosworth stars in the latest ad campaign with the famous chorus “The touch, the feel. The fabric of our lives.”

It’s etheral, summery and picture perfect where she pulls from her own closet the cotton garments from Rodarte, Nina Ricci and Prada and sings the well recognized tune in a breathy, folksy rendition.

So what’s your verdict on Kate’s singing?

Brad Paisley Donating Proceeds Of ‘Old Alabama’ To Tornado Victims

Country singer Brad Paisley is one celebrity who’s getting involved after the devastating tornadoes that ripped through seven Southern states leaving many dead, some still missing and unaccounted for, and countless families homeless.

The Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year is donating the artist royalties from his song “Old Alabama” to the Red Cross to help survivors, rescue efforts and families in distress as they pick up the pieces of their lives following the massive storm.

“Old Alabama” features backing vocals from the super group Alabama and is the second single off of Paisley’s upcoming May 23rd album This Is Country Music.

The 38 year-old used his Tuesday night performance at the Grand Ole Opry to announce the donation. The May 3rd Opry gathering marked the one year anniversary of the Nashville Floods.

New ‘Superman’ Star Henry Cavill Gets Engaged

You’d think being anointed the new Superman would be plenty for one guy to handle, but Henry Cavill wants more.

The 28 year-old actor has proposed to his girlfriend, British athlete Ellen Whitaker.

While taking a Hollywood trip together, Cavill popped the question to the unsuspecting Whitaker, who said yes.

“I couldn’t believe it when he asked me to marry him,” she told the Belfast Telegraph. “I thought we were there to celebrate his birthday. It was such a surprise and I am so happy.”

The Tudors actor did the gentlemanly thing and called her father, Stephen, to ask for his permission.

Whitaker is currently training, hoping to have a place on the British 2012 Olympic showjumping team.

Cavill has landed the coveted part of Superman in Zack Snyder’s 2012 movie titled Man Of Steel.

WATCH: Lady Gaga’s ‘Judas’ Video

Lady Gaga’s video for her latest single “Judas” was supposed to appear on E! exclusively, tonight at 7pm ET but surprise, surprise! It has popped up online ahead of schedule.

The motorcycle riding apostles, leather wearing Sons of Anarchy style Jesus with a crown of sparkly thorns, religious iconography, Mary Magdalene and a reinterpreted Holy Land of steel all give way to a new version of Judas’ betrayal of Jesus and dancing, lots of dancing.

The video was directed by Gaga and her creative director/choreographer Lauriann Gibson, who says the video might just make you weep.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life [for this]. I’m really blown away by it,” Gibson said. “You might cry, and not for the visual content, well you might because the visual is beautiful, but [fans will] be proud. It’s almost like the struggle is over. It was amazing.”

What’s your verdict?

Eva Mendes At 2011 Met Gala

Eva Mendes shrugs off the blues at the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City on Monday, May 2nd.

The 2011 Met Gala, as it’s more commonly known, featured an exhibit, the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty retrospective, which honored the late designer’s body of work.

The actress wore a one-shouldered, accordion pleated gown from Stella McCartney in a brilliant shade of royal blue. Mendes accented the look with a bright gold metallic belt, earrings and bracelets. Beautiful!

Saoirse Ronan At 2011 Met Gala

Saoirse Ronan opted for a fanciful red dress at the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City on Monday, May 2nd.

The 2011 Met Gala, as it’s more commonly known, featured an exhibit, the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty retrospective, which honored the late designer’s body of work.

The 16 year-old Irish actress chose something a little different from everyone else for the fashion event. The Rodarte frock paired a crepe jacket with flared collar and flowing skirt of embroidered satin for a youthful vibe.

The dress didn’t ‘read’ quite as vibrant red as it really is, because of the carpet. Still a nice change of pace.

Shania Twain Covers Redbook Magazine For June 2011

Shania Twain is finally ready to open up and share her struggles after her 14 year marriage ended when she discovered her best friend had an affair with her husband and the singer then lost her voice.

The 45 year-old covers Redbook for June 2011 and tells the magazine how she’s learned that betrayal gives you strength.

“Being betrayed is one of the most valuable lessons life can teach,” she says. “Now that you are wise to the game, you have the tools to choose your friends more carefully and protect your inner circle from these predators.”

“Wear your scars like a badge,” Twain recounts. “Someone hurt you, you lived through it, and now you can talk about it without rage and revenge in your heart.”

The stress from divorcing her husband, Mutt Lange and losing her best friend Mari-Anne Thiebaud manifested itself physically for Shania.

“When my marriage broke down, I got so physically constricted that I couldn’t get any volume out at all. . . . I realized I couldn’t live without singing and had to do something about it,” the singer said. “This is why I was like, ‘Just get it all out right now. Clean the pipes.’”

In a twist of fate, she fell for and recently married the former husband of Mari-Anne and Twain says that Frederic Thiebaud is “exemplary.”

“I got to observe Fred going through the same thing I was, and I admired how he handled it. That is where I fell in love with him, because he was so exemplary in every way,”the in-love Shania sings about her husband.

“He’s attentive, brighter than God should ever allow any one man to be, funny, romantic, and cute as heck. Most of all, he shows what he feels, and that’s a quality that could come in any shape or size and be admired—it just so happens that Fred has a very gorgeous shape. He’s too good to be true, only he’s real! Good for me, is all I can say, and I’m loving every minute of it.”

Neil Patrick Harris will suit up to host the 2011 Tony Awards again.

The How I Met Your Mother actor previously emceed the event in 2009 and won an Emmy for his closing musical number and CBS is set to give him another try.

Actor Sean Hayes took over the spot in 2010.

Harris will man the mic at the Beacon Theater on June 12th.

The only way this could be better would be to add Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion for a Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog number.
